The date yourself thread made me think: I wouldn't want to date myself, but I think I would make a great man.Are there major aspects of your chart you think would make you better as the opposite sex? As a heterosexual lady with Mars in Aries in the 3rd house, I find it can be tough to fit the receiving role in male female relationships. I envy men and their ability to hunt and capture and just be direct and full-on (scorp sun intensity speaking also)! I think my Mars and Sun could shine more as a Man and that chicks would dig me IP: Logged |

trust me ,not as easy as it looks, as a man i personally think women have the advantage because they do the choosing and rejecting. this is coming from a man who has mars in gemini in the third.IP: Logged |

I honestly think I would make a great guy as well just based on my Venus in Gemini, Mars in Taurus trine Uranus and Neptune, and Mercury in Leo. I still think its harder being heterosexual woman even in this day and age for various reasons. IP: Logged |

Try a bikini wax every 2-3 weeks, you'll grow out of it Women get rejected a lot too. The world's internet forums are FILLED with women sobbing over lost/unrequited love. IP: Logged |

I think the whole thing with the gender roles has changed a lot. Anybody who makes the first move puts himself/herself on the line and risks rejection. Happened to me too. IP: Logged |

yea i agree 100% , but cant we agree that most of the time making the first move falls on the man? i'm not saying it has to be that way, i'm all for a girl coming up to me , i wouldnt mind. I just think alot of women still expect the guy to make the move IP: Logged |

I guess it depends. Can only speak for myself here. I like alphas so yeah. Sometimes though the attraction is so strong that I wouldn't want to risk letting the guy slip through my fingers so I make the first move. Ofc I'm shy Cap rising so probably with a decent pretext handy haha IP: Logged |

oh there's that magic word! lmao everyone tells me to be confident, but its easier said than done, i'm not gonna lie i'm not confident when it comes to talking to women because i have little success and alot of bad experiences. the guys that are confident have success and get women so naturally they are going to be confident. i have had women call me ugly to my face and lots of other insults, just because i tried to ask them out or strike up a conversation, im curious as to how women could expect me to be confident when so many of her fellow women folk have so effectively ripped all my ego to shreds and then set it on fire. Believe me, I understand.. I don't know, I faked it for a while (confidence) and at some point grew into it or got better at faking idk. I've been called super nasty things to my face.. starting with daddy dearest and then a few other ppl as well. Thing is, you're not gonna get there if you're still bitter with us. I know, you have to live out your anger and please do. It was their opinion, they have a right to an opinion, but it is theirs, give it back to them. It does not belong to you. Please form a different opinion about yourself, one that belongs strictly to you. I also have stickies in my bathroom saying I love myself.. those still ain't working haha. Wanna start a support group? lolIP: Logged |

I think it's more that they sense your bitterness towards us. Your Moon and Venus are in hard asp to Pluto. This is the behavior you anticipate out of women, which is a bit self defeating. But the bitterness thing I think might put them off and want to behave exactly like you think they will. As you know, I have Mars opp Pluto, also Sun parallel Pluto acting like a mild conjunction. I used to hate men, God knows after the Bull if a dude asked me out I might have even slapped him. I guess at some point I realized it happens and that's life, I've hurt a few poor souls myself, but the vicious circle has to end at some point and better end it with you. Not that I don't have some issues left, but I actually meant what I wrote here: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum25/HTML/003409.html IP: Logged |

Hera I completely agree. Change is internal first, external next. It's hard to change while the circumstances are seemingly unfair and negative, but that's the way to go; if you want to change the world around you, start by changing yourself and the way you see things. I know it's easier said than done, I have terrible trust issues when it comes to men, myself. I'm trying to work on it.. On topic, I'm pretty sure I'd make a cool guy. I have a Scorpio stellium and a charming Libra Venus which would make me very popular with the girls..

ABSOLUTELY MY MOON IN SAGITTARIUS. (!) An independent sign in the realm of emotions? That just tells you something. I'm a mars scorpio & sn Aries. I tend to be the leader, initiator in most relations. Kind of frustrating at times, but excellent for the guy role. IP: Logged |

About the first move and who makes it - Not everyone is working on - social norms there. I'm doing what feels natural deep down.. and I'm just passive - naturally. ---- I made a sweetpeas thread on this: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum27/HTML/000764.html IP: Logged |

Some women do and some don't but I come across a lot more women bemoaning waiting for a guy to make the first move. While there are some men who hate when a woman makes the first move. No one wants to be rejected essentially. -Shrug
