I just stand by and watch to see what kind of person they actually are--are they nice, do they have good friends, etc.

I am one of those people that will spontaneously become interested in someone because of something small that they do like tell a joke, seem competent, good at speaking or something like that. LOL.

Regarding venus in aries, it depends also on their "personal chasing style", i think. But i noticed that venus in aries is usually the aggressor, lol. They love the thrill of the chase, but likes being chased too.

Idk about my mom.. She has been with someone for decades but she used her psychic abilities as an excuse to talk to that guy at the very start. she has h7 Jupiter and Saturn. She seems to let them chase and runs away more often than not. But the ball in your court can be just making contact or letting them know they exist.

Aside: In the past I played the mercurial messenger. As such I would relay messages between persons A & B if either was too shy to say it. I loved that role. Got into trouble a few times - some stopped talking to or ignored me. Others would start flirted heavily. But like I said - in the past.

Yes, I even read article which allowed up to 15 degrees. And others who would cut the orb, even for natal aspects, at 3 degrees.

IMO the tightest orb will be the stronges, most clearly felt, and then slowly fizzles out. Not going to argue if it does that at 6 or 12 degrees.
Personally I have never even felt an 8 degree orb UNLESS there were supporting factors like the planets were involved in a midpoint picture or parallel/ contraparallel each other, or there were "bridging" planets aspecting both with tighter orb, and drawing them together somehow.
But even then for me personally a 10 degree orb is very questionable (even with luminaries). But everyone has to find their own way through this.

I am using 6 degree orb because that relates approximately to the timeframe we experience a FullMoon, which of course is an opposition of Sun and Moon astrologically.
