I won't put "liars of the zodiac" solely on Mercury in Pisces, that's not fair. What's probably most accurate is that anyone with hard Mercury/Neptune aspects will be prone to lies and illusions.

I have Sun/Merc/Venus opposed Jupiter/Neptune, and baby...LOL! I lie like hell! I was always pretending I was someone else, writing stories, telling stories...mostly for my own amusement. I got an A+ on every assignment in my acting class, simply because pretending is 2nd nature to me.

As I get older though, I realize how damaging being untruthful can be. And with Sag rising, I'm embracing honesty more and more by the day and it's actually very liberating for me.

Oh no. I see myself as flat out lying.

80% of the time if I have told a lie I have done it for a reason.. and I'm very clear on the reason.
Although I might employ several tactics to confuse the crap out of the person I am lying to - or alternatively I convince them that I'm confused and loopy myself.. so they don't ask me questions on the same topic in the future.
No one in this entire world can play dumb as well as Pisces Mercury haha We don't have many skills, but this is certainly one of them. They could be as wise as Einstein and as street savvy as the average used-car salesman - but put on an act that makes them seem like a classic bimbo from the movie Clueless.

Pisces Merc will say something like "Do buffalos have wings?" (ala Jessica Simpson) although they are perfectly well aware that buffalos do not have wings --- for the pure purpose of convincing you that they are stupid and non-threatening (but make no mistake, it is 100% BS).

Unless the Pisces Merc person really trusts you - it's very likely that they're often dishonest towards you on a daily basis - and a lot of what you think you know, you don't actually know.

Yup I've noticed that exact same thing, also you guys are usually more on the quieter side,and aren't very loud or chatty with strangers.. However Pisces never seem shy or scared just laid back or not very interested, probably in their own world.

You lean into your friends while chatting.

Sometimes caps, cancers, and scorpios do this but a pisces will never seem awkward about it.
