So bizarre! The more I read about his houses, the less it makes sense. His 5th is in cancer, his 7th is in Virgo & his 8th is in Scorpio. He just doesn't seem the type to be very sensitive or emotional!IP: Logged |

He has Gemini Venus opposite Uranus (obviously the need for freedom is amplified) AND his Moon is in Gemini as well. It's an awful thing to say but my needs aren't being met. I have a Scorpio stellium and heavy Pluto so I need to feel a close emotional bond with someone and I'm pretty much dependent on my partner (if I feel comfortable). In our situation though, we are in a long distance relationship and it feels like a casual affair, not a committed relationship. Contrary to what is said, as a double Gemini, he's not talkative, at least not with me. When we are together he is very distant, kinda takes me for granted. Whenever I want to bring up some serious issues, he doesn't want to know more, he really can't stand any kind of emotional display, no serious conversations, and he's not very affectionate (prob his Aqua rising). I don't know if it's worth continuing because obviously something is missing. So to anyone interested in Gemini Venus people... unless you're airy yourself, forget it. Plutonians should run for the hills and find themselves someone who's at the same level of intensity.
i have just ended any thoughts on pursuing this venus gem. although this person has its cancer sun, taurus moon and venus pluto, i still see something's lacking, yes, intensity. i have an air sign as well but i have a water moon and lot of pluto aspects, and i have moon square pluto. i agree with you, DR. plutonians need intensity.

If connected to Saturn, emotions will probably be hidden, rationalised or repressed. With Uranus, they'll be changing, erratic, "out of the blue" and difficult to integrate. Maybe some rationalizing, too. Jupiter & Venus make emotional expression more pleasant, unless the aspects are hard. In that case oversentimentalty and bigger than life emotional displays are possible. Neptune often makes someone emotionally unstable and/or confused, but these people usually learn to hide this aspect of themselves or control it more and channel the energy into artistic/creative pursuits. And don't underestimate the power of the ASC and its ruler.
If the ASC is in conflict with the Moon/Sun, the person usually appears very differently than how they really are, or can have drastic changes in behaviour.. But anyway, the person you're talking about is very Mercurial, and an earth Mercury or Moon won't necessarily make them more emotional.. on the contrary. The only thing could be their Pisces rising. Is their Moon in the 7th? It usually indicates someone very moody and indecisive in matters of love; and probably a lot of romantic partners.
I can be *very* emotional. Mars in Pisces squares my Moon/Venus/Nodes, and Pluto widely trines them. Jupiter is also sextile, and Uranus/asc are inconjunct.

I've just been skimming the thread. I agree with you - I don't like people to get too heavy on me at first, and I like my own space. IP: Logged |

I think this venus placement is just a really tough one! I have an air venus/ac/pluto/mars...fire sun/merc/netune/jupiter/saturn but because my pluto conjuncts venus/ac and my neptune conjuncts sun/merc...i cant deal with the light airy ways of the air signs or temperments of fire! I need more sensitivity, intensity and depth, esp in their mars/venus/sun placements. I dated a taurus guy, libra moon, pisces mars but his gemini venus just always left me feeling cold, lonely and like an outsider! He just couldnt bond to depth i needed, not his fault, not my fault, just the way it was!

The funny thing that I still can't figure out is why he makes me act/feel intense. I'm usually really easy going, fun etc. I heard it's because of my sun being in his 8th house, but I thought that was supposed to affect him more than I! Maybe it is, but with his Virgo moon he's kept it hidden really well. The only emotional, intense reaction I've seen him get is jealousy. Any ideas?IP: Logged |

My daughter has Virgo moon (which she denies and says is Leo), Leo sun, Capricorn rising. I describe her emotionally as a nuclear reactor!!!! Especially if she fails her own expectations to be Miss Perfect or she perceives unfairness. She blames others easily and it's something we talk about. I also notice she seems to be able to turn her emotions on and off at will and admits using her dramatic flair to get attention! OMG. That's gotta be Leo Sun??? I was wondering - if the virgo moon is perfectionistic does that mean people with this aim for a feeling of "perfection"?? quote: Originally posted by kennedy80: Curious, so how would you describe moon in Virgo? What if the cusp of the 7th house is not the main sign dominating the 7th - i.e. there are 2 or more planets in the 7th in the sign that rules the 8th? quote: Originally posted by blugrey: Most Gemini Venus people are about as faithful as any Venus sign. I have a virgo moon and yes perfection is my aim...i hate it, wish i could let go of having to have everything just so and still feel free to be happy. My moon is in my 12th, so most of my perfectionism is kept on the down low...i never expect it of other people but i really dont want to let ppl to close to me unless they are clean like me...as far as my kids go, im much harder on myself than them and i dont mind go after them cleaning up because i know its me whos obsessive and i dont want to make them try to keep up with my OCD issues! From what I read venus in gemini and sag want idea lover. they will constantly search for it. ideal concept for gemini is more superficial, looks and shape etc. for sag is more spiritual. but I don't know anyone with this placement to know whether it's true or not. I know Gemini moon is also considered fickle. while my moon trine Uranus, I can say I am fickle in terms I don't commit unless the other person commits to me first. but that's because in the past I had been burned. virgo venus concept of ideal lover, doesn't make it easy. but when I love, I love. I just don't give it out before knowing what I can get. I read somewhere that Virgo venus is a 'ledger' approach to love. I agree to this. it helps that my venus does not square my moon. my marriage is solid 12 yrs with virgo moon. Other men can seem attractive IF they are attractive, but in order for me to leave 12 yrs marriage, I have to actually love them, and no one gets me that far yet yeah other people say how do I know it's solid? because I know myself and I know him me: leo sun scorpio rising. him : capricorn sun gemini rising granted we are both well over 30. so we both have had our Saturn return too.

Ive venus in the end of gemini and in conj to mars in the beginning of cancer... When Im in love I want sex and when I get sex I been in love....that's in trine to my saturn. Im not fickle when the relationships are good just when its bad..Ive problem leave a bad relationship but Im good to get the other person leave if the relationship not works out good.My longest relationship was with my daughters father, 15 year. My first relationship was togheter with my sons father, I was 15 and the relationship last in 4 year. Im really picky in choice of a man and it has been worse as older I been. I love to be in a good commitment but I also love to be alone. A weak man who doesn't care about how he looks and a man without humour who not can laugh will never be in my life. I also have moon in gemini in a t-square but also in sextile to AC conj Sun in leo. IP: Logged |

True that. I think, with Venus in Gemini, there's an emphasis on duality and changeability in love and that can manifest in lots of different ways. It doesn't necessarily equate to being flighty or flaky, especially if the Sun is in Taurus or Cancer. It can just mean being a changeable person in relationships. Keeping your partner on their toes because they don't know what facet they're going to get. Some might find that frustrating but, for others, it can be totally exciting and interesting and invigorating. Besides, I'd equate Venus in Scorpio or Venus-Pluto or 8th House Venus more with wanting someone you can't have. Venus in Gemini is too easily bored and restless for that. I feel like they're quick to move on when it's not working, instead of obsessively persisting and saying, "You must love me!" ------------------ Check out My Astrology Blog: http://astroarena12.blogspot.com IP: Logged |
