The Sag with Merc in Scorp is very hard to converse with in my opinion, which is strange because I generally LOVE Capricorn/Scorpio affected people. I get along with that type of energy really well but this one...he drives me insane! But I like it.  The one with Mercury in Capricorn is easier to talk to, he's more open and more like what I pictured a Mercury in Sagittarius to be. Blunt, forward, and I get the sense he blurts things out and wishes he could take them back (don't ask me why, it's just a thought that crosses my mind when he says some things.) The one with Mercury in Scorpio has Moon in Capricorn though. My best friend has a Moon in Capricorn.... good luck trying to get through that. I have Moon trine Saturn, and Moon opposition Pluto so I kind of get it. BUT. STILL. I can only ask you so many questions before it starts feeling like an interrogation rather than a conversation. But he likes it 'cause he keeps trying to converse with me - right? Sigh. IP: Logged |

I can see the introspection and caution in the Sag/Cappy combo, too; I have this, and I'm definitely very cautious. My mom and sister have Sag Sun with Venus Scorp (and both have fire moons). They love and demand their freedom, but they're completely obsessed with their partners. They're both fiercely loyal and very loving. It's a good combo. IP: Logged |

Same placements, only Scorp Mars and Jupiter and Leo Moon Aries Asc. That's a fair description only for me I can be Saggie goofy/oblivious at times. Which can cause some confusion in romance as it can be dark and heavy or light and playful on any given day.

Be any of those but Leo, lol. I can only see a Leo/Virgo cusp Sun with a Sag. Leo's affection is too suffocating and smothering to a Sagittarius over time even when Leo isn't trying to be. I'm a girl Sagittarius but if a guy ticks all of my boxes I won't want to run away. I really really run away if a guy is pursuing me who I don't see in a romantic way. I would check his moon and Venus sign to see the type of girl he is looking for. IP: Logged |

Moon in Capricorn, Venus in Sagittarius. So pretty much someone like himself since his Sun is in Sagittarius right? In any case if we look at Moon and Venus for him, and compare it to my Sun and Mars - I'm the opposite. I have Sun in Aries, Mars in Gemini. Heavy vs. Lighthearted! The other one has Moon in Aries and Venus in Capricorn. But I'm not that interested in him because he hasn't even taken me out and he's already talking about having sex on me. Yes, on me. He said this with zero forethought, basically as soon as he saw me. Then, later - they realise what they just did.. and if they have a Capricorn Mercury they'll start suddenly being all bussinessy and polite/detached. If they have a Scorpio Mercury they'll be extra secretive and pretend they actually don't like you or that they like 10 other girls just as much.

Uhm, little help here:Are Saggies and Geimnis just natural matches? The deal is, a very very attractive Gemini lady and I just have massive massive chemistry As in she told me she'd dump her date if I asked her to, meanwhile a friend was going through drama and just..ughhh Inow..does mutable Saggie and dual Gemini just click? Odette... thank you. Now I don't feel so crazy. Basically what I'm hearing is they're actually rather impulsive but private creatures (I mean Sag, with Merc in Scorp). So they're being honest when they speak but immediately feel embarrassed afterwards, esp. if it isn't reciprocated or understood immediately? IP: Logged |

I don't think it's about whether or not it is reciprocated. Even if it is very much so reciprocated, they could still react this way. Although, if it's not reciprocated it might be even worse. The main thing is Scorpio is a controlling sign. Actually, so is Capricorn...
Because Scorpio needs to be in control, they want to hold their cards close to their chest. Normally a Scorpio Mercury person is calculated when it comes to what they say out loud and what they don't say. They don't just blurt things out. But Sagittarius is extremely different as a sign. Sagittarius is emotionally expressive and open. They don't normally "hold back"... so it is a strange combination. In some ways it's as strange as my combination of Aries with Pisces Mercury.
I think what happens is... once they have let you know they like you in an overt Sagittarian way... the Scorpio Mercury starts ticking away and thinking: "This was not the best idea... now that she knows this she has more control in our interaction/relationship... I need to do something to gain control back"... Scorpio is extra paranoid about losing control... Being "open" about something leaves them feeling vulnerable.
Sagittarius is the opposite ^... but he has both signs there... (and Capricorn!! which is more similar to Scorpio - secretive/private/controlling).
The Sagittarius in him will feel horrible about any games played, any lies told to protect his privacy, any cold-hearted behaviour to maintain distance and control...... The Sagittarius in him will be thinking "what the CRAP am I doing here? I should just be honest".
But it's not easy when you have such conflicting signs in your chart.
I kind of understand because having Aries-Cap and Pisces in my chart is also conflicting.
Hannarama - you have a lot more Aries, and also Gemini happening... These signs are not *at odds with each other*, so you are probably a more straight-forward person.
I know you also have Taurus Moon opp Scorpio. This is a different, more intense side of you. However, it's not *quite* as serious and gloomy as a Capricorn/Scorpio combination in someone's personal planets. IP: Logged |

I agree again Odette. I'm not only a more straightforward person but I bounce back a lot easier than a lot of people it seems (not just compared to this Sag/Capricorn/Scorpio) and thus am more lighthearted. Maybe it's my Moon trine Saturn and Neptune as well...in any case the Aries and Gemini seem completely opposite of Capricorn/Scorpio energy even interest wise. Thank you for explaining the mechanics of that though. I can definitely see that applying and it explains why he still talks to me even though much of our conversations now are just filler. Every now and then (twice now...but he's said it which has amazed me) he'll sneak in a "I bet that's what you say to all the fellas..." and it's like that's when I think "Oh, okay... so I'm not friend zoned?" I feel sags is more drawn to geminis.
Thou it should be the other way around since gemini is the student and sag is the teacher.
I feel sags are more drawn to me than I am to them.
I like their company but not really as a romantic interest.
I dunno why thou, I've never even tried it. An easier of putting is like a dog chasing a cat.

And students fantasize about their teachers..  Do agree, for whatever reason Saggie just clicks with Geminis in my experience. Hmm, both have the gift of gab and can be flakey..which makes sense. Gemini shams on Saggie or Saggie shams on Gemini, it wouldn't cause much friction. IP: Logged |

I think it's great for Sagittarian men because Gemini girls are much less sexually threatening than Aries. They are not so confident and "scary"... so that makes Sagittarius feel more comfortable.

This is true, but keep in mind that Saggie also is very self conscious about what we say, stuff you maybe forgot about the Saggie will recall saying and just be extra extra cautious afterwards about saying anything at all.

hmm, not being as devious about finding DOB and time/place, cannot really say as just a sun sign is not terribly helpful. I love my Gemini friends but they're very much not confident in this sense.
Maybe the ones with Aries Venus are a bit better. For instance, Angelina Jolie is very sexually assertive - but she does have Aries Moon&Venus. So many Gemini girls are scared of sex though.
