So do you feel as if your past lives had plenty of ease and comforts or that you were a leader in the field of law, connected to the clergy or, perhaps, a professor at a university?

I get the feeling, in my past lives, I did a lot of grueling physical labor because in this life, I am not particularly strong and full of stamina when it comes to tasks. I am not an energized workhouse that can work for hours on end without whining and complaining my feet hurt or something. Maybe it's because my soul wants to learn how to be more like Cancer, less like Capricorn, or something?

A definite pattern emerges. It is quite noticeable the way this Capricorn cusp works with sun and Saturn as well as the Cancer MC (which receives easy aspects from sun and Saturn.) Somehow my past lives were Capricornian. Maybe they were just very tough, challenging lives? My soul is very hardy, looks like, and there's coldness because Saturn squares Venus. Very austere past lives with little love and comfort is how I see it.

The IC is ''where we come from''

Very pertinent when we meet soul mates. It pinpoints common issues that the soul has to work on.

I believe the challenging aspects indicate the areas that we took for granted in a previous life.

I only remember two of my past lives which I used to dream of very often.
In the first, I was a young male sailor, in my twenties. I was working with the British Royal Marines during the WWII.
I remember the captain of my ship and I dreamt of having many conversation with him. I remember the sea battle we had against Germany back then but I don't recall how I died.
In the second, I was a male history professor who lived in Holland during the 16th Century.
I remember the outer building of the university where I used to teach.
Sometimes I'd dream of myself running through dark narrow allies of the middle ages at the early morning with this young man on my heels holding a lantern.
I think he used to be my apprentice or something of that sort.

I always thought this was the MC/IC, the public veil (mc), and the true self (Ic)

For example if someone has MC in aries they are known for being fierce competitors in their career or public life, co workers and peers are often wary of them because they're ticking time bombs.

While in their personal life they're actually very peaceful (Ic in libra)

I have Mc in Aquarius conjunct Saturn conjunct and Chiron conjunct Ic in Leo.

That makes since because Sagittarius is connected to distant lands without actually living in them, maybe just visiting. Pisces is more connected to actual submersion when someone leaves the land of their birth to live in places with different languages and customs.
So being in the Navy or some kind of merchant Marine sounds somewhat Sagittarian.

It's really interesting how everything starts to make sense once you look at your birth chart with a little bit more of depth.
I've always felt drawn to foreign cultures and languages.
I'm actually majoring in the study of foreign languages and civilizations.
My dream is to teach in universities, simultaneously at my country and abroad as well.

Your theory is correct too since the IC symbolized the most private parts of our psychology and the MC embodies the way we want to be perceived by the public/society.
But the MC/IC axis can also function in a similar manner to the North/South Node Axis.

The IC is karmic and 4th House was always known as the house of "the soul" in Medieval astrology.

Unlike Kerosene, I do not have the conjunction but I have Saturn trine MC aspect in my birth chart.
I think it means that I will have to work hard in order to climb up in the social/professional ladder.
My work is directly linked to my social status and worldly recognition. Although with the trine, it's more harmonious and less intense than the conjunction.

I think with the conjunction, the natal chart promises the native a very successful professional life and a dignified social position albeit it won't come easy to them. They will have to work hard for it unlike the Jupiter conjunct MC natives.
Hope I helped

I'm okay with it.
I've always been thinking of my future since I was young, I figured my career direction at a young age.
Well saturn trines sun, moon, mercury and sextiles mars. I don't have any negative aspects

I'm terribly ambitious, I've worked hard since junior high school so I can get a scholarship etc because I knew my parents could not afford anything.

I've always felt I've had to do everything by myself, and I'm okay with that. I like being independent, it feels liberating.

My major is involved in interactive design, working with applications and hence technology which I think is very aquarian in nature.

Lemme know if you want to know anything else, thats all I can think of right not that pertains to that placement.

The repeated pattern with this placement in that natives are always on the hunt for the ideal home, for security, for unconditional acceptance but never actually find it. They share this sense of not being born at the right place or at the right time, of being side-walkers".

That's him to a T!

I can also add that I have Mars, Jupiter, NN and Uranus on the AC, MC and IC respectively and this would fit me very well too.

Painful

I have chiron and SN in the 4th. They both squares a bunch of planets.

I relate to what you said about aries IC. It's what I couldn't get in my childhood, I so want to build the happiest home EVER.

I felt my IC get activated strongly with someone that I met recently, it so happens that we share natal resonances. I think it's the most private part of a person. It depends on how big past lives issues are, that if are carried into this present need to be attended to.

I know my IC is of a huge importance since my SN is there. SN represents what's carried from a past life. MY NN is in libra 10th house. Therefore I probably will have to attend to my past life issues in order to be able to move forward, to where the soul has to progress that represents my libra NN.

Your experience is very similar to my own.
I have Saturn trine Moon, Trine MC and sextile Mars.

I've decided what I will study in University and what job I will work at the age of 15.
All was clear from the very beginning.

Like you, I'm extremely goal-oriented and I wouldn't mind working hard for what I want.
I never remember asking for anyone's help with my studies, not even during elementary school. I did all in my own and it's feels rewarding to see myself at the top three students in my department.
Self-sufficiency is a very good trait to have.

My IC is in Scorpio conjunct pluto and asteroid karma... and square Saturn which is on the DSC...My NN is also in scorpio in the 4th...

It seems very scary...especially since i have started experiencing the depth of the scorpio feelings and internal fears since couple of years...I feel that i stand alone especially when in the midst of crowds..

But, not eally sure how to explain it...Any light on these placements i have mentioned?

10th House in Libra is a very promising placement.
I think that if you succeed in overcoming past life issues, you will later on in your life find yourself surrounded by good friends who become family and a loving partner who you will share the rest of your journey with.
That's good !! There's a lot of good things to look forward too

Btw, Chiron in 4th house is hereditary. It hints at some pain/wound that runs in the line of your extended family/ancestors, it doesn't have to do with you personally.

Scorpio is a natural lone wolf and if you have it on the cusp of 4th house, it's normal to have that feeling of being alone even if you are in room crowded with people.

There could've been a lot of pain and repressed feelings in your past life.
You need to learn to accept those feelings as a part of yourself and have faith in your intuition.
You need to develop true, strong bonds with other people who share the same depth of character and mind as you. There is no place for shallow, fake and plastic people in your life.

It means that you are likely a present day reincarnation of an ancient ancestor in your lineage who lived and experienced this " old wound" very well so the fact that Chiron conj your South Node reinforces this possibility.

Your soul hadn't forget that pain yet, it still remembers it and the wound is mostly buried deep within your psyche that you are not even aware of it.
You need to learn how to heal that wound and move on for your soul to be released of this karmic burden.
The 4th house holds the emotional baggage of past lives that we must learn to let go of.
