Mercury in 3rd House Mercury in Scorpio Sun Conjunction Mercury Mercury Trine Saturn Mercury Sextile NeptuneI find Mercury in the 3rd or 8th House interesting. Mercury in Gemini, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Aquarius, or Pisces individuals are interesting. I don't know all that much about aspects, so. I'll leave that at this. ------------------ I appreciate the existence of this forum and all its members. IP: Logged |

My Mercury is in Pisces widely conj Jupiter in Pisces - in the 10th... and square Uranus (Sag), sextile Moon (Cappy). I love the planet Mercury.. I think it's really important to have good Mercury aspects if you want a relationship to really work. When there is no communication, things tend to break down. Scorpio Mercury is definitely my favourite! My BFFs!! <3 We have a very strong psychic connection. I never have to explain myself. They just know.. and we are definitely on the same wavelength. I give them one look, across a crowded room and they know how I feel, whether I am happy, sad or ho*ny lol and they always know the right thing to say to me. I am closest to Librans with Scorpio Merc. One of my closest male friends has this.. and so does my ex who I was with for ages. I also sometimes like Mercury in Taurus, Cancer, Leo, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces. I'm mostly neutral about Gemini and Libra. And - I usually I have problems communicating with Aries & Virgo Mercs! This makes for some awkward situations with Virgo Mercury.. when we have a mutual friend who has a Scorpio Merc LOL Because Scorpio can gel with Virgo's analytical side.. but my Pisces Merc is just like - MEH. No thanks Virgo. Just no lol In my mind I'm thinking: "please go away!" Scorpio gets both Virgo and Pisces- but God only knows they do not get *each other* haha With Aries Merc - I am almost as neutral as I am about Gemini and Libra.. However because - they can be cutting & nasty towards others, I lean towards dislike rather than neutrality. They don't seem to understand others on a psychological level - or - the impact they have on those around them. This doesn't apply to every Aries Merc I have met.. but quite a few! They also seem to think they know.it.all... for whatever interesting reason *shrug* I generally avoid them - as one would avoid a screaming child at the mall, while grocery shopping. I doubt they would either like or dislike me - since I completely avoid them and they wouldn't know me well enough to like or dislike me. IP: Logged |

Definitely not for me ^ I much prefer the water Mercuries trine my own... than the fire mercuries trine my Sun in Aries. NO comparison! Don't even.. LOL IP: Logged |

My experience with them too! I wonder if it because both of our Mercuries are also ruled by Mars, Doux?

Lol, Odette! Hanna,
I don't think so. I think it's because their Mercury is ruled by the Moon - a very child-like, changeable planet. IP: Logged |

Scorpio Mercury 11H/Square Mars/Trine SaturnI can hardly stand Leo Mercury since that Merc makes a square to my Scorpio Merc. I like Sag. Merc out of all fire signs for this planet. Cap Merc is easy for me to deal with since I have Merc-Saturn in my natal. I don't mind Virgo Merc but Taurus Merc can be a little difficult for me due to Scorp stellium. I appreciate all air sign Mercs since I'm a Libra. I tend to understand well water Merc, especially other Scorp Mercs, but the nature of Pisces Merc can annoy me a little. IP: Logged |

I also like Mercury in Aquarius and Libra. I get along with Mercury in Scorpio and Capricorn (my parent`s Mercuries are there, maybe that is why). But Mercury in Taurus (for example) just drive me crazy, they are talking SOOOO slowly. I always get the urge to jump up and run around like a battery-fuelled bunny, and I am usually the calmness and patience in person. But something about Mercury in Taurus just triggers a major impatience in me (though I often find they have nice voices, and they are creative in a practical down to earth way and it is not that i don´t like them, jsut they drive me insane).
So, you have the exact combust or cazimi, Ceri?

Mercury retrogade in Pisces in 4H, conjunct Sun, Saturn and Venus, square Pluto, trine Mars and MoonI like Mercury in Scorpio and Gemini people. Mercury in Sag are very fun to talk to as well but they can’t keep any secrets and I hate that. Mercury in Cap people I know don’t talk at all so I don’t know how they are like. I don’t get along with Mercury in Aries, Leo and Aqua. I get along pretty well with mercury in Virgo people, as long as I don’t interrupt them when they are telling me what they’ve analysed I’ll be fine. I don’t know much about Mercury in Taurus, Cancer and Libra. I get along very well with other Mercury retro. people regardless of their signs. IP: Logged |

Hmm...Well, I don't generally look at Mercury signs all that often, but looking back at my friends/confidants charts, it seems that Earth and Air Mercuries are the people I get along the best with (not super surprising I guess). I have a 10th house Virgo Mercury. Because earth and air Mercuries are more analytical, I think I just find it easier to communicate with them naturally. And honestly, it doesn't really matter WHICH earth or air sign, as it seems that I have close friends of all earth and air Merc persuasions. I probably get along with fire Mercuries next. We sometimes don't 'get' each other, and because fire Mercuries tend to be horrible with follow through, ie making promises they can't keep, the communication suffers between us. With them though, I tend to just chalk it up to who they are and I just realize that I can't take what they say literally. Then finally, water Mercuries... They're an odd bunch, because on the one hand, I really 'get' them emotionally (probably because they are naturally good at emotional communication), and some of my closest friends have actually been water signed Mercuries, however, I also tend to feel that they are more ambiguous in the way that they communicate, so it is more difficult for me to understand them (and vice versa) than it would be with some of my other earth/air Merc friends. To me, concrete rules/boundaries just make sense, but they always look at me like I'm an alien for even mentioning it. Meh. I usually get along with water Merc people despite all that. Really I think that other planets play a bigger role for me in whether or not I will get along with someone and whether or not I will want them around me in the long term. I rarely feel extremely strong emotions for the different Mercury signs, mostly because communication issues can be learned from and adjusted to. I find it more difficult to deal with certain Sun, Moon, Mars, and Venus combinations as those usually elicit stronger reactions one way or the other. IP: Logged |

I have retrograde Mercury in Cap in 7th house conjunct Sun, Saturn, Neptune, and sextile Pluto.I love talking with Scorpio Mercuries and I also get along with other Capricorn Mercuries. Pisces Mercuries are cool and I seem to fluctuate with Aquarius Mercuries. Not too fond of Aries or Leo Mercuries just because I don't have much fire in my chart and don't relate. My experience with Cancer Mercury was eh... The one I talked to wasn't much of a talker even with a Gemini sun. Very touchy and moody yet at times very sweet. IP: Logged |

Mercury in Sagi in the 6thI don't have a preference, not a massive fan of Mercury in Capricorn, they talk too slowly, makes me want to hit them almost, so annoying. But then I know I prob talk too fast for other mercury placements do what IP: Logged |

I have Mercury in Libra in 3rd, which isn't my sun sign. As 3rd is house of communication, this is meant to boost intelligence, interest in fine arts and give a good command of languages. One could be a good writer/speaker. Mercury rules 11th and 2nd, so a possibility of big gains from writing and fine arts. ( Ah! all this lovely potential) I aso have Quaoar conj Mercury exact, which supports or reflects the Mercury in 3rd placement. Indidentally, positive aspects between Quaoar and Mercury indicate new ideas communicated effectively - Steve Jobs had it.

^^From looking at my chart, Mercury is saying, "You need to plan a future as a self-help guru!" It is conjunct Jupiter, on the ascendant, and they rule both 3rd/9th, 6th/12th houses in my chart. Maybe that's the mystery surrounding all this? Self help guru.I could be one of those people who rakes in the big bucks showing people how to help themselves. IP: Logged |

I don't really have a favorite Mercury placement, but Virgo & Pisces are my least favorites. But that's just because I haven't had good experiences with them. I can deal with others fine I guess, maybe because my Mercury has a bit of everything. IP: Logged |

No, no Venus-Sun/Mercury-conjunction. Only Sun conjunct Mercury (Venus is 10 degrees off it and in Capricorn). However my Venus is parallel both Mercury and Sun, and Mercury and Venus are out of bounds. IP: Logged |

LOL Yes, it is nice, her Venus conjunct my Sun and Mercury. My Venus opposes her Moon. It`s easy to appreciate each other despite of some differences. I love my parellel. And I find my Moon-Uranus-Juno parallel, which is contraparallel Pluto intriguing, but that would be straying off topic I guess. IP: Logged |

My parents were a nice example of a DW Sun/Mercury trine, while their Mercury-signs were square (not in aspect/orb). In composite it made a Sun/Merc. conj.Him Sun-cap/Merc-sag Her Sun-Leo/Merc-virgo Writing/Communication etc. was their passion & art together and people envied them for being so on the same level OR how they completed each other... it was their *everything*. I have a merc. virgo conj. ascendant and I need a quiet or a bit more slow down-to-earth merc sign to share my life with. Quiet because I'm NOT quiet(ly speaking) myself and I don't want it to get turned into a battle of *It's *MY* turn to talk!* Earthy because I'm very earthy myself and a head-in-the-sky type would in the best case become no less or more than an interesting observable object instead of a person you can really talk to. Cancer/Taurus/Cap/Scorp are doing it pretty well. Nothing is perfect. IP: Logged |

What Mercuries do you like best (sign, house, aspects?). I'll go first:
Mercury in Scorpio - 6th house Conjunct Sun My favorites are fellow Scorpio Mercuries, Mercury/Pluto aspects (flowing especially, but hard aspects can be okay, too), and sometimes even Mercury in the 8th does the trick. I also like Pisces Mercury and sometimes Virgo (other Earth signs are okay, too). What about you?
Mine's in Leo. Tons of aspects. conjunct venus, trine neptune, quincunx mars,sq NN and uranus, conjunct saturn, sextile pluto, quintile MC,conjunct sun. I don't like pisces mercury,I find them confusing and too fickle minded. Cap mercury makes me feel bad because I have the impression they don't want to talk to me.BUT when they do warm up to you you get to have a glimpse of their brilliant mind.I have extreme respect for Mercury in Cap and Mercury in Taurus, although they are really slow in their speech delivery. I particularly dislike mercury in virgo. I love mercury in leo,in gemini,in cancer, and in Sag.It's fun and exciting to have convos with these placements.Or mercury in aspects with my saturn, uranus, neptune, venus and jupiter. I don't know people with mercury in other signs so I can't provide an opinion. IP: Logged |
