Yes, I am strict with orbs. However for declinations 1 degree is the generally recommended orb. for you I see Moon contraparallel Pluto (like mine ) Mercury parallel Saturn Venus parallel Jupiter (LOVE it) Mars parallel neptune (have it, too) IP: Logged |

I have my Mercury in Taurus. I absolutely LOVE fellow earth Mercuries - especially Virgo! Not only do they tend to trine (or conjunct) my natal mercury, but they make lovely aspects to my Ascendant, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. Conversing with earth Mercuries really generates a lot of creative (but realistic) conversation. I also get on in conversation quite well with Mercury in air placements (Libra especially).I can get along well enough with Mercury in Sag. We don't always see eye-to-eye re: finer details of an argument, which can be sort of annoying if it happens repeatedly, but I generally find that conversation with a Mercury in Sag is pretty easy, and certainly entertaining. Conversely, I can't say the same for other fire Mercury placements, as I tend to feel rail-roaded over by Mercury in Aries and Leo...and like all Taurus placements, my Mercury hates being rushed or bossed around. I have a co-worker, specifically, with Mercury in Aries, and I feel as though I can never have a correct opinion where she's concerned. We frequently disagree on how best to handle tasks, and she can come across very hostile and aggressive when we don't see eye-to-eye. While I know that she doesn't really intend to be mean or rude in doing this, it still drives me absolutely nuts, as I'm more patient in resolving disagreements. She also doesn't seem to be too concerned with thinking about longer-term solutions to problems, which I find frustrating sometimes. I find water Mercury placements really, really difficult to deal with, unless they have flowing aspects to Saturn (especially Pisces). IP: Logged |

Hahaha me too! I love fellow Aries Mercuries, Sag Mercs come in second. Third would be Scorpio. 4th probably Gemini (my 5th house loves them). I sorta loathe Aqua and Cap Mercuries and don't have major issues with other Mercury signs. Maybe first decanate of Leo too. As long as you get to the point before my Aries Mercury gets bored (fast!) and you don't cling too much to your opinions as to only see your point of view and insist on it until the death of time, we should be fine. I'm Aries Mercury in the 2nd/3rd. Conjunct Sun and Mars also in Aries. Opposite Pluto and (very widely) Saturn. Trine Moon and Neptune. Rules 5H and 8H, so compatible Mercuries is very important for (sex) talk. Doux, I subscribe to everything you wrote! It's how I see things too. IP: Logged |

I'm gonna be honest and just come right out and say it. Leo in Mercury is a placement that you really aren't going to appreciate or understand unless you're a Leo Mercury yourself, or - to a lesser extent - have a luminary or an inner planet specifically, in Leo.If you don't have Leo energy in your chart, you won't "get" Leo energy. It makes about as much sense as expecting a man to know what it's like to give birth vaginally. My first love is a Leo Mercury and so am I. I hate him now but honestly that was my favorite part of being with him, is just feeling totally at ease and like I could tell him any and everything - there were no walls really, and I kinda felt on an intuitive level, that he just understood me on a very fundamental level. Communication was very easy and natural with him. I miss that. There's a heavy bond there with Mercury in the same sign, and a very basic innate understanding of each other's thought processes and a total comfort and ease of communication that you just won't find with anybody else. Honestly sometimes I still miss that. Even though he's a jerk. Then again also the fact that we both have Mercury in aspect to Pluto probably heightened it a bit also. But yeah, nothing a Mercury in Leo says or thinks or does, is going to make sense to someone that isn't a Mercury in Leo. Don't try to "get it" because you're just wasting your time, and it's not that we're wrong and need your correction, it's that just we are on fundamentally different wavelengths that can't be totally reconciled and you won't be able to meet us at that place lol. I can agree with that. Reading some of these posts about Leo mercuries in addition to my Virgo sun and Gemini moon, I might have the most hates astro combos around here. LOL My Mercury is in Leo 26° H2 conjunct Virgo Sun 4° H3 - 8° conjunct. I think this combo makes it so I have difficulty picking a favorite mercury sign. It helps me with being professional in written communication when need be and balances any extremes – less critical and less dramatic. I think this could be why someone has also said I am “Soft spoken and powerful at the same time”. So with my weirdo combo, the mercury signs I can appreciate (through personal experience): Mercury Capricorn- I think some should be attorneys! Most I know are also really good at written communication and pretty professional with it. And usually follow through with what they say they will do. Most I know are sarcastic and I love it. Mercury Virgo- So logical. Sometimes a little too critical but seem to be complex thinkers and can break down things into details easily. To me, they seem to have the best of written and verbal communication. Mercury Gemini – Love the sense of humor and flexible thinking (or attitude at very least). Mercury Cancer- The ones I know seem to have really good memories. And the writing (poetry and short stories) so heartfelt and deep. Mercury Scorpio - Both of my parents have this. Its intense and seem to always want to dig out info from people. A bit stubborn to me but once past that and on a good side, the people I know with this will have your back when talking about you haha. The best poetry and deep writing, to me, have come from someone with this placement. Mercury Libra – They know how to network! Really friendly and easy going to me. Mercury Sagittarius – I can appreciate the bluntness and talkativeness. Seems like a fun placement. Mercury Aqua- The ones I know of are pretty open minded and think way outside the box. Also quite observant. The ones I know with Pisces sun seem to stammer over their words a lot. The other ones I haven’t knowingly had enough contact with to draw an opinion.

do aspects matter more though? I mean if you have mercury square pluto, you'd probably be scorpio-ish in communications too. No?How can you tell different types of mercury? IP: Logged |

Cappy/Cancer. I’ve read that people come across as the sign in their 3rd house cusp on the net, do I come across as a Capricorn? I have Uranus conjunct Neptune in Capricorn in 3rd house . IP: Logged |

You shouldn't, because it makes about as much since as a beginning swimmer jumping into the deep end of the poo; you're in over your head, any way you slice it. Trust me.

Actually I would say so, yes. Most of the time you lay low and when you do pop up (maybe I just don't use LL that much to see you?) your tone is kind of frank and to the point. It totally reminds me of Capricorn in some instances. ...Do I come across as a Leo? IP: Logged |

I know you didn't ask me (duh!) but you come across more Sag and Aries to me than anything else. Another thing about Mercury Leo is that I think if you're the type of person that is kinda insecure and has a fragile ego and likes to always feel like you're the smartest person in any given conversation and the one in control you're going to immediately dislike a Mercury Leo because we aren't going to really hold back or put or light under a bushel for you or pretty much anybody else. You'll come away with a bruised ego. Plus if you disrespect us in any way we'll verbally dismember you, plenty-fast which angers a lot of people who kinda get off on that sort of thing in exchanges with other people, trying to make them feel small so that they look like the "big man". To some extent I think that was the problem with my Taurus ex, who disliked the fact that I knew I was as smart as he is (or smarter), and pretty much wouldn't hang back and play the dumb girlfriend in awe of her brilliant boyfriend. Honestly I think he felt threatened by my Leo Mercury and came away inadvertently feeling small after interacting with me even though that wasn't my intention, but I think he was used to being the center of attention and usually the smartest person in whatever conversation he was having - or at least was used to everyone treating him like he was. I was like "Why should I do that? I know I'm your equal." In all totality honestly Mercury Leo people are actually really loving and really giving and really generous in conversation (my Mercury Leo ex is probably one of the most loving people I've known in my life, in his better moments and that's saying alot because I've known some good people), but again, if you're the insecure type that has to always be the leader and in control of the conversation and likes to, again, feel like you're the smartest person in the room, you are not going to be a happy camper with a Mercury Leo because we don't really bow to anyone. ^Omfg if she's back I will cry! She told me to stop hanging out at Walmart and KKK meetings! I'm not even a white person! My H3 cusp is in Libra. So either way, Mercury or H3 cusp, I should come across as a Libra. Do I? Compliment me, nymi! quote: Textbook: You're in over your head, any way you slice it. Trust me.
Eugh please just stay away from me! If you are the typical Leo Mercury, then you gives Leos around the world a horrid name, and I have a strong Leo influence in me, myself! I'll be over here with the normal people who aren't delusional, thank you very much. I'll reference you when talking about unevolved Leo placements. IP: Logged |
