And prefer a woman who is obedient, sensitive, and more soft spoken??
What in your experiences, which men prefer women like this?

I know like two men who like girls like this, Moon in Pisces and Moon in Virgo haha

It's not just about the Moon sign, but what aspects does their Moon make within their own chart? And which house(s) is their Moon ruling?

^ Too bad, cause with Moon in hard aspect to Mars or Pluto, the women in their lives will be anything but "soft"

The first one sounds like he'd be sexually insecure in his masculinity and would want a woman who's unlikely to challenge him. The second one sounds like he had a controlling mother and wants someone who will let him be in charge. That's just going on the VERY LIMITED info you provided. Not everyone who has those aspects would necessarily chose this type of girl, but you've already said what type appeals to these two guys.

My ex has a Taurus moon and he likes traditional, obedient girls. I'm nothing like that, so he attempted to bully me into being obedient. It didn't work. Lol.

Astra - Interesting.. I had the same kind of experience and I, like you, have a Capricorn Moon - which should be compatible with Taurus.

Was his Moon opposite Pluto?

I've seen this too with this placement. Especially my father. And I've seen this kind of mentality too with a couple of Venus in Taurus men as well.

This is kind of.. off topic but since RAS' Chinese Astrology thread was bumped.. I've been looking into it more - and I think Dragon men are the most dominant and seem to only do well with submissive women.

Damn... I have Moon square Mars. (Gemini Moon)
I'm also Dragon (Fire).

I wouldn't say I want a submissive woman. I don't see myself as controlling like, "Do what I say." But I DEFINITELY do NOT want to be controlled.
Just deliver the message with tact and I'll listen.

what the moon sign in his chart has to do with this though? I though venus tells him what kind of a woman he is attracted to..

------------------
Libra sun
Aquarius asc
Scorpio merc
Virgo moon
Sag venus
Cappy mars

I do not believe this is well determined
so easily. The sol-lunar relationship in each chart and Venus, not just the moon in the mans
need to be viewed.

I knew a taurus Sun, Merc, Venus, Saturn, IC...he wanted a soft, traditional woman except sexually he wanted to be dominated.
His Venus is exact trine virgo Pluto
Cap AC trine his taurus Saturn
Saggy Moon opposed gem Mars

Lol! I'm a dragon. Also Mars in Taurus and Venus in Cancer. So, yes, I like a submissive side to my lover. Oh, and curves says Venus! But Moon in Leo/10th means that she should know what she's about too. And day to day, Gemini Sun wants an equal.

That's without getting into aspects...

8th house Sun says nothing is simple.

Hmmm my boyfriend has a Moon in Pisces and he definitely prefers me to be the more dominant one in the relationship. In fact, I used to be a bit of a pushover until I met him but since being with him, he's given me an arena to hone some of my more stronger opinions, I've become more of an assertive person (outside of our relationship as well) as a result

I'd say the closest man I've dated to this description was a Moon in Cancer guy. I legitimately think he got joy out of stamping out an independent woman's self-esteem any way he could. He has a lot of issues though (goes without saying lol)

could it be his gemini mars that makes the difference? i think gemini is more soft and they like to be switches, dominant-submissive.

That's true, plus gem mars need lots of stimulation they get bored easily...anything to traditional would get old very quickly.

My updated answer:

quote:
What Moon sign of a male makes him DISLIKE strong women?

- Pisces and Cancer Moon... dislike women they see as aggressive (but their interpretation of what is aggressive can be pretty far-fetched)

- I mentioned Taurus Moon earlier.. but actually they want to be with a woman who is financially well off. This is their main goal.
So, they don't have a problem with career girls... but they still want them to appear feminine and submissive.

- Sagittarius Sun... This is not "dislike". It's pure fear. They are completely afraid and paranoid about strong women.

- Aries influence in men can sometimes be disinterested in strong women as partners (but I wouldn't call it "dislike")

- Virgo-influence is neutral.. but they don't exactly like strong women.

Funny, my experience with Aries men is that they're such big babies that they need a strong woman to keep them on track. Total generalisation though lol
