This aspect is known to indicate some form of fixation of energy or obsession.
In synastry, it feels like the other person won't leave your mind no matter what, almost as if they're haunting you.

I share a number of these in my own chart as well as in my Synastry with someone, and boy is it intense...:

my Asc quindecile his NN/my Desc quindecile his SN 1°
his IC quindecile my SN 0°
my Sun quindecile his NN 2°
my Mercury quindecile his Desc 0°
his Jupiter quindecile my Vertex 2°
his Jupiter quindecile my Neptune 0°
his Jupiter quindecile my Uranus 1°
my Saturn quindecile his SN 1°
his Saturn quindecile my Anti-Vertex 1°
his Neptune quindecile my Anti-Vertex 0°
my Chiron quindecile his NN 2°

Yes, I think I can feel it. Either that or it must be something else responsible for it.

here are some threads on this

Right now

my pr Venus is in an applying quindecile with his natal Jupiter (0°25) and his natal Mars (1°19).

(my pr Moon-Saturn is also in quindecile with his natal Moon).

And yes, he is pretty much haunting my mind. Iguess I would need a surgery to get him out of there.

Aww the Quindecile! Have had quindeciles with couple of past relationships, currently with my husband we have Jupiter quindecile Moon, he is Moon an I am Jupiter. There is a compulsive thing between us to stay positive, its also hard for us to stay mad at one another with this aspect. Personally think its one of the better quindeciles to have in synastry.

Planets like Neptune, Saturn, Mars, Uranus, Mercury or Moon forming a quindecile with each other could bring problems IMO.

Thanks for the links, Ceridwen. Very valuable info!

I guess these Quindecile thingies contribute to the crazy magnetic pull type of feelings and the "urge to merge" lol.
I assumed it may have been Pluto but we don't have it that strong really, just soft flowing trines from his Pluto to my Moon and Mars, a parallel from my Pluto to his Venus, and a contra-parallel to his Mars
***EDIT***
I just remembered his Pluto exactly squares my Asc/Desc axis..nevermind!
Guess Pluto does play a role too then.

In our current progressions we have:
My Pr. Asc in Leo 28° exactly quindecile his Vertex in Aqua 13°
My Pr. Mars in Cancer 21° quindecile his Saturn in Cap 7°
His Pr. Asc in Virgo 25° quindecile my Saturn in Pisces 9°
His Pr. IC in Sag 24° quindecile my Moon in Cancer 8°
His Pr. IC in Sag 24° exactly quindecile my Mars in Cancer 9°
His Pr. Jupiter in Cancer 9° exactly quindecile my Vertex in Sag 24°

Eek!

Lol I doubt even surgery would help to get them out of our heads; not sure if you feel the same but its as though he's literally inside of me
I think our Psyche/Psyche conjunction, square his Eros might have something to do with it though

Hi libraschoice77,

Yes, I agree.
Sometimes it does cause trouble in the sense of a little *too* much fixation.
Especially with Uranus & Neptune involved... Though it does have its good sides too, in terms of a deep spiritual connection and psychic, out-of-this-world bond, though even that at times can make you run for the hills...

I never dated anyone 2 years older or younger

I think your natal Venus quindecile Pluto could mean that when you fall in love, you do so with intensity and fixation, even up to the point of obsession. You love with everything you got.
And yes, this could indicate why you feel attraction to those around your age, though other factors can be responsible for that too.

No, it doesn't show up on astro.com, unfortunately.
You have to calculate them yourself.
Its easy though, just take the opposite degree of the placement you want to find the quindecile for, and add/subtract 15° on both sides.

For example, say you have a Virgo Moon at 19°. It's opposite placement would be at Pisces 19°.
So you + 15° and -15° from each side, and you will get Aries 4° and Pisces 4°

You can try it another way too.
Just convert the degree to its own zodiacal degree.
They are:

Aries 0°
Taurus 30°
Gemini 60°
Cancer 90°
Leo 120°
Virgo 150°
Libra 180°
Scorpio 210°
Sagittarius 240°
Capricorn 270°
Aquarius 300°
Pisces 330°

Now, taking the Virgo 19° placement again, we add it to its own zodiacal degree, which is 150°, and you will get 169°
Now add/subtract 165° on each side.
169° + 165° = Pisces 334°, convert again and you get Pisces 4°
169° – 165° = Aries 4°

Yes, I relate to this!
Also everything I do that is "pleasurable" is like super important and intense to me!
It's weird if you talk to me while I'm painting or drawing I will ignore everyone around me and I'll get really ****** if you ask me to get up while I'm relaxing.

Btw if you reduce your orbs 150 you can see oppositions that are up to 15 degrees away!

Yes, this aspect sure is intense, it gives a very strong drive, determination and focus.
In my own natal I have quite a few but the ones I really feel the most fitting are:
Moon quindecile Uranus 1°
Moon quindecile Neptune 2°
I have a Cancer Moon and with those planets touching it in a quindecile, it feels like I have an Aqua Moon and Pisces Moon blended into it and its all gone into over drive lol

I also have Mercury (my chart ruler) quindecile pluto.

From what i read online quindeciles can be kind of dangerous or irritating.
Like I read this some posts about venus/pluto quindecile being in charts of sexual abusers etc.
I can't say I've ever experienced dangerous obsessions or desire to abuse people lol.

Anyways with neptune/moon quindecile do you have an addictive personality?

Hmm my best friend has Mars quindecile pluto, her mars is in conjunction with my venus exact.

She's really ambitious and determined!

I've never seen anything negative, she can be really controlling of her environment.
We're super obsessed with each other, it's a very erotic relationship that makes our partners uncomfortable... ahhaa

Our venus/mars is in quindecile with our Plutos.

Oh my really? Interesting..,
I guess the quindecile is the sort of energy which requires great responsibility and maturity.
Because of its intensity, some may not handle it as well as others and therefore let it consume and overpower them into a negative spiral.
So it would makes sense why it is found in the charts of criminals/sexual abusers because there is obviously something off about their over-all psychology/general chart make-up from the start, and to top it off they have the quindeciles in their charts which would allow them to act in even more outrageous ways than what is considered "normal".

With Moon/Neptune quindecile, no I wouldn't say I have an addictive personality, though I am prone to a lot of daydreaming and procrastinating in general. I'm usually lost in my own world lol. I think it also contributes to me being highly-sensitive.
But I don't let it get too out of hand though; I can be practical and have pretty good self control at times..
I have Sun/Mercury in Virgo, Saturn opposite Sun, trine Moon, Mars & Jupiter, so that helps to keep me stable and anchored somewhat lol.

I read once that the most noticable quindecile transits are transiting planets that complete an already existing natal quindecile in a symmetrical configuration.

Let's take lavenders example;

quote:
For example, say you have a Virgo Moon at 19°. It's opposite placement would be at Pisces 19°.
So you + 15° and -15° from each side, and you will get Aries 4° and Pisces 4°

So, let's say you have a natal Venus/Mars quindecile (at 19 virgo & 4 aries).. and then when the transiting Sun is at 4 pisces you will *FEEL* it!

So my guess is that also in synastry you'll notice this completion more than if there's just one quindecile or just one planet that's quindecile 2 conjunct planets.

So, in a symmetrical config. you'll find a SEMI-SEXTILE of which both planets quindecile the same planet on the other end.

Lavender.. let's take your example. You have a Moon-Uranus/Neptune quindecile.
HIS Jupiter completes the pic. here as it's quindecile your Uranus/Neptunes and semi-sextile your Moon? THAT's interesting!

Do you have a Chiron/Sun conjunction natally? If not, then again we have an interesting completion with his NN.

Mabye there are some more?

I love to see this kind of symmetry.

**

I wanted to post a pic of 2 quindecile arms + 1 semi-sextile but..
Why can I only create a LINK, but not a pic directly, after copying that IMG url? Anyone?

Ok, so if I got it right...

Moon quindecile Vesta and Eris
Uranus quindecile Chiron
Saturn and NN quindecile Pholus and Jupiter
Pallas quindecile DSC
Mercury quindecile Pholus
Pluto quindecile MC

It was fun calculating it but I wish I knew how it playes out too

Hi mir,

Interesting theory, I think you may be onto something here!

Though yes, I do have a Sun/Chiron conjunction natally, and his Jupiter is conjunct my Moon, so those don't count, but we will look for further configurations.

My Asc quindecile his NN
My Chiron quindecile his NN
My Asc/Chiron are semi-sextile

My Saturn quindecile his SN
My Saturn quindecile my Mercury
His SN/My Mercury are semi-sextile

His Desc quindecile my Mercury
His Desc quindecile his SN
My Mercury/His SN are semi-sextile

His Jupiter quindecile my Vertex
His Jupiter quindecile my Uranus
My Vertex/Uranus are semi-sextile

Cappy,

The easiest way I look into interpreting it, is to just take the energies of the planets in quindecile, and interpret them as you would if they were conjunct, but gone haywire lol, with an added intensity and extreme focus of energy.

I'll try interpreting a few for you.

Moon quindecile Vesta: Your emotional nature may be fiercely devout, and your emotional security comes from being dedicated to that which brings you comfort. You are probably deeply devoted to spirituality in some way as well. Intuitive/psychic abilities are a possibility with this aspect.

Uranus quindecile Chiron: Might mean you have a fixed focus on healing the collective through holistic therapies/technology, or healing your own generational wounds. You may need to purge yourself of the fears you have within you of being seen as an outcast of "different" by society.
Remember though, your uniqueness can be your greatest asset.

Pallas quindecile Desc: Pallas has to do with the pineal gland/third eye chakra. It indicates an interest in the pattern/structure of things and an ability to strategize and perceive things intuitively.
So you may find that these abilities in you become very strong through your partner or significant relationships. They can cause you to naturally be perceptive/intuitive in your relationship and easily spot areas that may need to be worked on with great focus. You may also attract partners who are intuitive and have good strategizing skills which in turn can influence your own abilities as well.

I'm not so sure about the symbolism of Eris or Pholus much, sorry.
