I knew one Pisces sun who left a relationship with gusto, trashed the house and everything so I have a hard time seeing Pisces stay in something they don't want to be in without doing everything in their power to alter it or walk away. Pisces is this really touchy sign kinda likes things their way and if your way is theirs, you can have a wonderful relationship. That's just what I've noticed from them. Neptune I agree with. Someone with a strongly aspected Neptune could stay with someone thinking they will change them. Mostly it's the fixed signs I notice staying in unhappy relationships longer. I fixed sign will ride out a rocky marriage just so they can say they have been married for fifty years. They look forward to anniversaries. IP: Logged |

But also Pisces is very patient and puts up with a lot from people because of their compassionate nature. I'm a Pisces Sun, Venus and Jupiter and end up staying in situations far longer than I should because I think I always want to be there for people, get attached, etc.

Rosalind, you may be protected by other astrological aspects.. maybe you have good sun-jupiter, sun-jupiter ascendent, or venus-jupiter or some other protective aspects that give you the self-esteem to want to expect something better, but saturn and pluto afflictions are not excluded.. i have seen venus oppose saturn and venus conjunt pluto a lot in bad relationship.. i agree with you with pluto in 7th, also neptune or some fishy stuff..

Jupiter & Venus are not conjunct (11,6 deg orb) but I think that Jupiter gives my Venus & Saturn luck that others with Venus/Saturn opposition might not have. I've been quickly lucky in love (so far). I only have one 3 year relationship turn sour. I'm quite flexible and accepting but once it started going wrong, I put and end to it. He was going through a tough time and his way of dealing with it was trying to put me down to feel better about himself. Not going to stay with someone like that. You see how they really are when bad things happen in life And I'll never again date a Cancer! LOL. The only other aspects I have to Venus is that it is conj Asc and semi-sextile to Sun (Sag, H2). Jup/Ven (H1, Scorpio) are the only two aspects to Saturn (H7, Taurus). Opps, there goes the theory that 7th house placement cause people to stay in bad relationships. ETA: Sorry, I just looked and Venus is also semi-square Merc & Moon (conj). Honestly, i don't know if any of these aspects help. I'm convinced it's Jupiter. But I also like the other possible interpretations given.
it is funny, i just wrote something to Rosalind about a protective aspect being jupiter. I think it is jupiter.. it works for me, I have moon square pluto in 5th and neptune in 7th, but jupiter sextile sun-venus and saturn.. it is really helpful

I know many Pisces and Capricorn women who stay in bad relationships. Even when the love is gone.I can stay in a bad relationship for a bit. Not abusive or anything. But eventually I get tired if I am trying and things are not working. I'll move on and forget you even existed. Have left exes shocked before. Descendant is in Capricorn. ------------------ Gemini sun 12th.(Gemini/cancer cusp) Cancer asc 1st Taurus moon 11th Taurus venus 11th Libra mars 3rd Gemini mercury 11th IP: Logged |

I tend to do it. I have Venus square Neptune which may or may not contribute. It may only contribute to getting into relationships that I shouldn't be in. (Venus in 12th btw) To ME, it FEELS like it's my Leo Sun that fights to stick it out. Maybe too much pride to feel like a relationship failed?? IP: Logged |

I don't think people always stay in a bad relationship because of self-esteem issues - sometimes you're just dumb enough to think if you wait it out things'll get better. For that you need fixed signs. IP: Logged |

Libras with their indecisive sides seem to stay in bad relationships (must be libra dominant) I notice that Cap moons when they cannot envision a plan will choose to stay while others move on because they do not tolerate certain behaviors IP: Logged |

Well, I have a Leo Venus, so you'd think I'd be inclined to get into a relationship and staying in it for its sake's alone.I've never entered a relationship that didn't give me the butterflies, even though I end up "falling" for the guys that show a stronger interest in me. I say "falling" because I start liking them some time after they ask me out or tell me how they feel about me. Ever since I started reading on Leo Venus, I actually began thinking that I don't really like them, I like the attention and the idea of being liked and/or lusted over... Anyway, back on track, I have wide Sun-Jupiter and Moon-Jupiter trines, but a tight Sun-Moon trine. Jupiter is also tightly sextiling my Mars. My Venus is widely trine Mars but square Pluto. I've noticed that same pattern with Leo Venus. They seem to just enjoy people around them. Then they'll get in a relationship with the one that "fights" for them or showers them extra attention. IP: Logged |

Agree with this, the one Pisces I dated had no problem breaking up with me. IP: Logged |

It seems like everyone does that, not just Venus in Leo. People want to be with the one who shows them extra love and attention. That's just human nature. Who wants to be ignored by the one they will be stuck with, if they enter a ltr. No one I know of. IP: Logged |

You seem to have missed the point that they don't even love the girl/guy. Sounds like a bad relationship to me.

Hahaha, nope. I have Venus in Leo and I would never be with someone I was not attracted to or loved, not for long, at least. If they tried to show me a lot of attention and I thought it was due to them wanting a relationship and I didn't want to be with them, I would start regarding them as annoying lickity-split.

I didn't actually say I ever went into a relationship where the "butterfly effect" wasn't present... What I meant is that I sort of start fancying the guy if he shows interest in me, but that's usually just physical attraction, like being aware he's a young male in his prime. I've only ever felt the butterflies once, which was the only time I actually considered entering into a relationship. IP: Logged |

My number one relationship woe: attracting people I am not interested in, could not be happy with and don't stand a chance with for whatever reason. I've had plenty of times when I was worried someone was interested in me. I wonder what shows up when the people you aren't interested in like you while the ones you like are completely uninterested? I always thought it was 12th house related. Anything I don't fully comprehend and seems karmic I say is due to the 12th house. I seem to have strange karma with relationships and I have 12th house Libra planets conjunct ascendant and in aspect to Venus. IP: Logged |

These days I don't fall for the showering of attention so easily. It starts there, but then I check things out to see how their personality is, stability, etc. I may play a little hard to get to get a feel if they are just playing or not. Also, ignoring someone who shows attention as your way of sending them the hint of your lack of interest is just stupid. Do it to me and you won't be my friend either. It's not like there aren't millions of others to show attention to or be friends with. IP: Logged |

Same here. My outer planets are all conjunct my Ascendant (Nep in 1st, Uranus and Saturn in 12th). Venus is trine Mars by 8º and square Pluto by 4º. Only Chiron in my 7th and ruler in the 10th. IP: Logged |

I only have two outer planets conjunct mine and one is also conjunct Pluto so maybe that's a major part of it since they are both in house 12. I have always felt kinda out of sync with everyone around me. Another thing is, I am not attracted to the vast majority of people. Chiron isn't in the seventh house but it conjuncts the descendant from the sixth. I wonder if people with Pluto conjunct ascendant feel the same way, like they are out of sync with their environment?
