That generation will probably have a few Air voids. It would be interesting to do a study on that, how the voids affected their generations.

Nah, if he friendzoned me, I'm not gonna do anything about it. My pride is too big! I went out on a limb for guys before, but as I get older I am less willing to do that. Not only I can clearly see everything that is wrong with him, lol, but I also know there's plenty of fish in my sea. No need to get aggravated by one pair of pants. I do care about him, but I am fine with being friends too. I have doubted from the start that he would be able to give me the relationship I want.
He's the one that keeps calling though, and wants to see me. I would prefer, if he truly did friendzone me, that he'd send less mixed signals.

good call!

From what I see they feel the same things others do. I would GUESS that they're not so changeable in their feelings (less water for their moon to work on) though the water void I know can have some wild moods (possibly his fire which burns itself out after awhile, though his Taurus moon would help stabilize him, too). It's not like he's missing part of his brain that can process feelings.

In any case, he's not an alien. If I know an alien in human form then it's my Pisces stellium best friend.

I think you're right, Pixie! Having looked through my database (should have done that from the beginning) and seeing I have interacted for YEARS with Water void people who were very "normal" people, with normal emotions and normal displays of emotion, too - I am looking at this a bit differently now. I think for some people it can develop into a handicap, agreed. One Earth void man proposed to me several times lol, but he was the prototype of an noncommittal person and ran away even before I would answer. He wanted to settle down and get married but had an inner restlessness that prevented him to do that (big Scorpio stellium with Uranus in it) and the lack of Earth certainly did not help. My mom is the only modality void I have found so far - she lacks mutable planets and boy, does it show! She is the most inflexible person I have ever met. But for other people, the void does not seem to develop into a shortcoming. They somehow manage to overcome it. I don't know if they learned a way around it or it simply comes from craving what you lack - but it does not prevent them from having a "normal", fulfilling life. I find these people very inspiring.

Haha, thanks.. He is a good man, perhaps in different circumstances I'd fight for him more. I had a coffee cup reading, absolutely by chance, some time ago, and this person described the circumstances in which I were to meet my future husband - and you guessed it, it fit to a T with how I met Mr. Cap. So I guess I did get a little aggravated about his pants a little in the beginning (DF, glad you like my sarcasm lol), but that is not the case anymore. I want to get married, I want a family, I like him a lot - but the timing is not fully right for either of us. He needs to lick his wounds still and I have a couple of ducks that need to be settled in their proper row too. I think being friends, whether first or indefinitely, is a good idea, it does not feel at all like a "loss" or a rejection to me.

BTW I answered in your Junko Furuta thread.. man, have I been tripping emotionally today because of that.. Such a sad story.

I woke up thinking about this topic.

I think the true void is on a scale from 1-10 say of loud noise. The true void is a 10 and a person with one generational planet is an 8

You could picture noise or a color. Say, for example, the color black. It has shades until it reaches pitch black.

Pitch black would be the void and a lighter black would be one generational planet in the element.

There are extenuating factors like the houses but I don't think the rise to the level to really mitigate the Void.

The Void does not have the language of that element. The person has to live in the world of the element, but he is kind of an alien.

For example, I, as an earth void, do not "know" the language of the practical earth as part of my inner language.

I organize things. I pay attention to details to the point that I must to live in this world but it is a foreign realm for me.

I crave people with high earth. I crave touching the earth. I crave being near the earth.

When I am in the garden, my whole body imbibes the earth and I feel much more whole.

For each Void, I think there is a similar pattern.

They do not really understand the workings of that element in their most basic natures.

Earth and all it's practical details are very hard for me.

I have to force myself to organize etc.

It is a true LACK. That is how I see the Voids, anyway,

My son is completely Earth void and while I accept him, he frustrates me and I don't always understand how he can be such an airhead (he is very much Air dominated).

You know I find it interesting that you are drawn to earth things (soil, gardening) because my son is too, maybe even more than me (and I grow a few plants). It's as if I take my Earth for granted and he doesn't. He pursues it and appreciates it.

On a weird side note - I did not look at my children's birth charts until this year and they are 13 & 10. I didn't want my take on astrology to in any way shape their personalities.

Knowing now that he's Earth void makes SO MUCH SENSE. I kind of wish I had looked sooner because I feel it helps me understand them better.

I crave earth people, too.

Every b/f I had was an earth sign
