Ah, yes! Kannon, I've seen you around a few places on the Internet. I think I remember reading an article of your's where you talked about planets that are parallel/contra-parallel the ascendant.. Well, thanks ReachingForTheStars! Did you post a picture? It's interesting that you don't have any scorpio placements, but you attract/are attracted to people with those placements. I guess you can't underestimate the power of trines and sextiles (and house involvement). The matching ascendants probably have a lot to do with it as well, same houses. My last girlfriend also had a matching ascendant with me (gemini). As well as scorpio moon and gemini mars. I was never sure if synastry was felt from looking at pictures. I was always under the impression that you had to be in the same vicinity to feel the energy. Maybe not! I've never heard of the pattern completions before, but that boomerang analogy makes sense. The learning never stops! I received the necklace from a random Native woman I met at a hospital waiting room. She's Iroquois. They follow the idea of spirit animals in their culture. Apparently, she could sense mine and gave me the turtle - she sensed strength and gentleness. Either way, I was a big ninja turtles fan as a kid so I'll take it!

I think it would be an interesting thread to post your pic along with your chart....to look at how aspects to the AC affect the persons appearance.

You're welcome! I agree - pictures are harder to read energies from. It was you in the video that I found most attractive. Actually, my Jupiter is in Scorpio. It's a water singleton in my chart which means it possibly overcompensates for a lack of that element. Plus, it's my DSC ruler. That could explain why the guys I've attracted were heavily scorpion. Also, my venus is in the opposing sign of Taurus, and my moon is on the cusp of my 8th house. I've read that those influences can attract scorpion energy too. That is so cool about the turtle. In my culture, we sort of have a similar belief about animal spirits, but instead of associating it with personal energy, certain animals are revered as family guardians. Ok! Maybe it's not so similar. Lol! I've always been a little afraid of the ocean because although they're endangered, green sea turtles seem to pop up around me. It's the most discomforting experience ever! Lol. When I was young, I had a turtle named Michelangelo. We found out it was female, and we had to rename her... Michelangely! Haha! IP: Logged |

Very interesting!! You do look very wise, your eyes have so much depth. Typically Gemini's eyes, to me, look less grounded....I wonder if it's your Saturn aspect?

Thanks Gabby! If I had to choose, I'd go with saturn, but I like to blame saturn for everything. Saturn = suppressed (depressed) smile. Lol. Plus, Saturn is in my 5th house square my nodes. He's such a drag. I've read that I need to learn to have fun! It's true! Now that I think about it, I also have Hathor and some other Egyptian queen asteroids on my ASC.

It probably is evident.. The whole guessing sign places off appearance isn't entirely my thing .. xD.. Any Virgo placements? Any Pisces? (I only ask because you KIND of remind me a bit of a certain Pisces friend of mine..) The other ones that come to mind for me are possibly Sagittarius or Cancer.. But, as I said.. Ya! I'm kinda a funny mix of Hawaiian, Chinese, and Germanic descent. My dad is so dark he's almost purple. Lol! And, my mom is a strawberry blonde who's so white she's almost translucent.
