True, although I think you have to have other planet placements to bring it to life and give it passion. I'm sure BB King and some of those legendary players also had other fire, air and water aspects in their charts. Otherwise it would be like "paint by numbers". A bit robotic! Actually I just checked BB King's chart. He also had moon conjunct mercury in Virgo as well as sun conjunct Mars in Virgo. This might explain why he was so systematic in his approach to music, the abundance of planets in analytical Virgo. His Ascendant is Aquarius though and Neptune in Leo which gives a bit of spirituality and passion to his chart. Uranus is in Pisces too. Anyway, this is a separate topic really! Actually when it comes to creative stuff, I don't really take much note of astrology, I dunno why. Being creative is like a law unto itself. IP: Logged |

Oh yeah, full mutable baby! eheh The Moon conjunct Jupiter & Sun trine AC are applying ones, but the one with less than 4 degrees orb is actually Moon square AC. Oh cool!! Your Moon probably aspects something significant in my chart. What is your Moon's degree? quote: Originally posted by DopGang: Something about Adimi caught my eye. Stunning.
Aww, that is so nice of you to say... It really brought a smile to my face. Thank you!

I find playing along with tapes/cds is the best way to get rhythm down. Have a movement in your body that goes with the rhythm (swaying, head nod, your hips, foot tap...). With a little practice, you can do it.

Aww so sweet, C! Thank you! My teacher says this will be my biggest hurdle but rhythm is the totally most important thing. He told me all else can slide but not this, ever. You can make all sorts of mistakes and no one will know if your rhythm stays solid.------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? He's probably right about the rhythm being most important. Especially if you're strumming chords on an acoustic. A buddy of mine is an accomplished classical guitarist (studied for about 10 years). Since his music solely relies more on the melody, his rhythm is more fluid (erratic is too strong a word), but it sounds good. A lot of the old chicago blues drummers had a big lag in their rhythm. Modern and contemporary drummers call it "untrained". Us blues musicians call it "swing". And that swing lends itself to that whole feeling of that type of music. Your rhythm doesn't need to be perfect like a machine. Just so it sounds nice. Like Debussy said: "The only law of music is the law of pleasure". Once you get it down, you can conquer every little restaurant. IP: Logged |

It's ok. Some is better than none! Choc you look pretty too! I know it's not a guessing thread but I'm picking up Pisces. Maybe not but you strongly remind me of some Pisces women that I know. Could be a Scorpio placement. They seem to use similar makeup styles from my own personal experience. IP: Logged |
