(I play sax myself - jazz fusion is my thang, although I'll play any style if the music's good!)

Thanks Jo B. I'm definitely more blues/jazzy now than I was in that video! Was kind of going through my more hard rock period then.

I love a good sax player. I tried trumpet in 5th grade but I just couldn't blow enough air through it. I've got the long slender fingers though!

Actually you inspired me to dust off my music website. I think I also need to continue writing and recording again. Keyboards are currently in the garage, will get them tomorrow!

And hopefully, Jo B can join that list! Always loved Coltrane's "A Love Supreme". I know a Virgo/libra musician who came up with a formula for writing melodies by analyzing hundreds of melodies. He'd write on the board and say "you go up in tone over here, then go down here...".

As a Libra/Scorpio mix, I've had the best musical chemistry with Gemini/cancer people or anyone with Scorpio placements.

Well, another sax player once said I sounded like Wayne Shorter (ultimate compliment in my book!) - he's another Virgo I believe.

Geminis make great musicians, I've known a few (drummers and guitarists mostly), they communicate with audiences well. Taurus seem to make good bass players!

Terrible generalizations I know, but it's what I've experienced personally! (I used to be in a band with a Libra guitarist though, he was good too, pretty soulful in his playing and a nice songwriter )

Now I'm checking out blues-style compilations on Youtube and musicians like Larry Carlton/Steve Lukather when I should have gone to bed ages ago! It's funny because I spent almost a year avoiding even listening to music, mostly because I had cubital tunnel syndrome in my left hand and it was too depressing to listen to other people play, but that is healing up now so I feel all motivated again to play.

Oh yea, from Weather Report (I believe he played with Miles Davis briefly). Definitely a compliment.

One of the greats on blues guitar, the recently late BB King - also a virgo. I remember watching a lesson video of him and he had a very systematic way of blending minor and major key phrases.

Something about the virgo mind that can dissect music...
