Also Moon/Pluto (in women) can have a difficult time with same-sex interactions - they feel disliked, mistrusted and/or isolated by other females. Not sure if it's extreme enough to bring "hate" though.IP: Logged |

My friend has a Scorpio ASC conjunct a 1st house pluto and she is not a leader at all, more like a follower tbh. Its actually because of her i find this placement so overrated. She also has an 8th house mars. But, she can appear stronger and tougher than what she really is and come off a little intimidating though. @HeadThe Pluto conj the ASC is just one aspect and it is a person with a "large presence" of a but the rest of the chart modifies it, in one way or another. I don't think you could say if a person were liked or disliked from this single aspect, Head. ------------------

I think people that feel left out and hence kind of make themselves BE left out, as a result of this perceptual lens, would be Saturn in the 12th. I call it the "loner placement", though no fault of their own.------------------

Kate Winslet was bullied though for being chubby and had to take a lot of s.h.i.t from other girls through her school years. Same goes for my scorpio ASC friend people have also been harsh with her with the way she looks. IP: Logged |

Doesn't this manifest more on synastry level? So when one is unpopular that could be translated into bad synastry aspects with a high number of people in a group, maybe?Not saying it cannot be reflected in aspects too, just a thought. For example, take generational groups, like school/ kindergarten. I wasn't feeling the best in these places, and probably my Moon&Mars - Pluto aspects managed to trigger those in my age-group who had their Pluto close to mine. IP: Logged |

Okay, but that doesn't really prove anything... her experiences are interesting (and sad) and might qualify as part of an astrological study, but they're not conclusive. I mean we can't just take one person, look at their life and say that everyone who shares their aspects will share their problems.

It was something i read about pluto conj ASC once that described her to a T and the experiences she has been through. That is why i feel this aspect in her chart might have a lot to do with the very intense experiences she has been through. I know not all pluto/asc folks experience this but i think it is a part of their path to meet some intense situations in their lives. IP: Logged |

Yes but....There's a difference between making a bad impression before people get to know you, and continuing to make a bad impression. If someone judges another person at first sight, that's their fault (or their psychic power.) If the two people get to know each other and a bad impression is still being made, it becomes a whole other issue. I've made bad impressions on people from looking too serious or b*tchy (Cap sun square Pluto) but I'm aware of myself. I take responsibility for my face and my vibes. So if someone seems a bit leery of me at first, I just think, "This will go away after we get to know each other" and it almost always does. One of my friends (Cancer sun, Cap moon) told me she was intimidated by me when we first met, and later lectured me for being too nice to people and "a doormat." LOL What's my point? Perceptions change and we can affect it, no one is really a helpless victim of their charts.

but my friend has also experienced people to dislike her even after they have gotten to know her and she has been nothing but nice to them. And my friend has a lot of supposedly "popular" well liked indications in her chart like sun conj jupiter, venus trine mars, sun and jupiter in the 10th house etc. Also another girl that is a friend of a friend of mine she has a sag asc conjunct pluto and people would often have a bad impression of her too even after they had gotten to know her. Both my friend and that other girl would tend to grow on people and some would just remain disliking them for no good reasons at all. IP: Logged |

Head, your friend prolly has some asteroids that are off putting to people like Nessus in a prominent place or others, such as Pholus or Eris.Pluto conj the ASC is not enough info to form the kind of info about the person, in terms of being unpopular/hated or off putting. ------------------
