This question should also be posed to Moon/Venus in 3rd.

An ex has the conjunction in Scorpio. I think it was his erratic nature that drove me bonkers. He would switch feelings and ghost me for days at the drop of a hat. And i just couldn't take it anymore and unilaterally ended the relationship.

When he came back and told me I was overreacting. I told him that I was merely taking a sabatical from our relationship. Duration? Uncertain.

I don't know if there is anything one with this placement can "do" when getting restless within a relationship.

But I think that they(chart holder) can give the other person a heads up on their first date with a prospective partner I.e "I am not that reliable and will disappear on you. Other than that, I am a lovely person to date" etc.

Will not repeat the Venus-Uranus experience. Rather give me Sun/Moon- Uranus any day.

I have Venus/Uranus and also Venus/Saturn. I’m a little bit peculiar in the way that I burn hard and fast and can keep going for YEARS at the same pace, until one day I simply feel nothing. The feeling of “nothing” is not something that grows on me or builds up over a period of time. I can literally just wake up and feel nothing for the person I used to love at which point I’ll simply switch to friend-mode. It seems I have no normal zone between loving hard and not loving at all :-/

Boredom for me comes with feeling restricted in the way I act/think/dress and generally express myself. I can be really goofy and say some crazy sh1t but I know about myself that I can be this way because what’s right and wrong is deeply ingrained in me and therefore I feel secure exploring...crazy sh1t, and talk about it. At the end of the day I’ll do what’s right anyway so why put a damper on me??

Do you mean you won't date anyone with Venus/Uranus again? Did he have Venus/Uranus in Scorpio? Or Moon/Venus in Scorpio?

The reason why I asked this question is because it worries me sometimes. Like I think it'll keep me from ever really settling down. I was with my ex for 9 years. And then when things got too routine I left. He was talking about having a family. But after being with someone for 9 years. Most people would get married.

It's not only boredom but lets say if I'm involved with someone. And we argue and it's about the same thing. Or they keep doing the same things. I'll get tired of it and when another opportunity presents itself I'll leave. That's what happened with my ex. Or if I don't leave I start talking to someone else. Whereas the person no longer has my full attention. It depends on the connection I have with them. And what actually happened between us. I don't talk to my anymore at all but that's because I feel like he betrayed me. And I don't want the drama with him.

Hmmm boredom isn't so much the issue, but I guess you could call it that. Human tongues are so limited. If only we have another word for it. Boredom can mean someone who just has nothing to do, or is sitting in a room, alone, bored, no interesting thoughts or activities, but then you give them a book to read and they're satisfied. Boredom is also a state of mind and a bored person attracts more boredom. Even a bored/boring person will be bored doing something interesting and potentially life altering. Bored people escape their own monotony, but Uranus isn't monotonous, so it's slightly different in intention. It's a need to feel electrified by irregular bursts. A dislike for stagnation. It's not just in love, but in life I am like this. I become so annoyed by feeling stagnant. Even something shocking could become common place after awhile." In some ways, it's almost like a need to take responsibility. It's that shock of accountability you feel when you realize there's something you HAVE to do, and if you don't you feel your soul becoming complacent. Uranus is the awakener. I think sometimes the Uranus energy can be mistranslated, and just turn into someone doing trivial "fun things", until they eventually realize something that makes their "soul" feel alive. I think once they find that "thing", then they could actually be quite content and won't even seem irregular at all. So the venus aspect would mean they NEED their love to be something higher, larger than life. Which is why regular standards for relationships can irk them. So, to keep from getting bored, it cannot be a relationship simply for the sake of a relationship. Some Uranus/Venus may still think this is what they "should" do, and Uranian individuals will try to take the normal route, but eventually feel dissatisfied until they realize their true intentions and potentials.

Something that was always "normal" to me, which I never questioned until not long ago, was the fact that actually, I did not spend a lot of "physically present" time with people I was with. Sure we messaged, texted, called sometimes. But going together wasn't a main thing.

I didn't take note of the pattern until recently. They were all people who had their own quite autonomous, self-possessed lives, who also, in their own way, were happy enough with the "distant" setup. Loyalty and trust was never an issue, but we didn't think that being physically with each other changed much about how we felt. Even not speaking to each other didn't change anything. Similar to a cat, my attention and affection quota gets maxed very quickly on some days.

So I cannot tell you what it is like to even live with a romantic partner for several months, to a year. Or even what it is like to physically spend time with them "regularly." Regular for me is... A long time apart.
I feel like if I were to ever be with someone permanently, we'd either have to have a 30 foot bed, or sleep in separate rooms. Or, even live in two separate adjacent houses. I don't associate love with being near someone. To desire to be close, I see it as simply a bonus. Perhaps one day I shall meet someone that does not make me wish to have them live far away from me. There is also a strong need for solitude, which is indescribable, and varies from person to person. Change and personal growth are very important, perhaps I'd need someone who can change, learn and grow with me. Reach for the stars, so to speak.

It could be that Venus/Uranus individuals are sometimes only partially aware of this, and may or may not realize it is an "issue" for some? Which is why I think it is very important for people like this to be with people who are somewhat similar in this respect. It could be painful for someone who needs "more" in a normal way.

My husband has venus square uranus and he is not flaky at all and in 11 years now has never gotten bored of me, checked out, disappeared, wanted a break, nothing. He always wants to spend time with me. Wanting to be with me has been consistent, he is the most consistent accessable guy I have ever met. From the start we spent all our free time together, till this day he wants more time with me and wishes we spent more time together. He always wants me to be near him lol. So this idea that venus square uranus folks get bored easily has not been my experience at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He is always learning something new and engaged in some kind of project or working on an idea, debating about politics online and watching DIY youtube videas or political stuff, he keeps himself entertained for sure with that love for learning.

Do you know for sure that he hasn't cheated? I'm only asking because people stay married but that doesn't always mean they haven't been with someone else.

Yes I know for sure lol, I dont know how many times I have asked for an open relationship and he declines and given him a free pass and he wont use it. I know for sure he has never cheated without a trace of a doubt, the only guy I have felt sure like that about is him, I also have always felt sure he will never leave me too.

I have never suspected my dad has cheated ever, he is a devoted husband but if he ever did it must have been one affair not a pattern for sure, he doesn't look or act like a player, he is a relationship guy similar to my husband.

Well I guess people are different. When my ex of 9 years started talking about settling down I just didn't want it so I left. People would keep asking me if he and I were going to get married. I would tell them no that I didn't want to get married. I can do long distance relationships. Like the guy I meet up with I met him on Facebook. We talked for a year and then we met up. He lives in a different state and we go months without seeing each other. So It's pretty obvious I fit the theme of this aspect lol. I like odd or weird guys eccentric with Aquarius or Uranian type qualities. But I have DSC in Aquarius too so that could be why as well.

Yes, I feel the DC sign and ruler are key, like if my partner's venus ruled his DC and it squared his Uranus that would be a different story or if Uranus ruled his DC and squared his Venus like you but his venus in leo rules his chart and Uranus rules his MC, that restlessness and need for chage, need to take risks and need for stimulation in his case manifests in his career/direction/hobbies/interests, his entrepreneur and visionary spirit, his tendency to take on new projects/hobbies and think big, his tendency to automatically think about expanding and growing when he has a business idea, his creativity ect...

i've been with my fiancee for 14 years known her almost 20, been messing around with our friend with benefits for a little over a year and sortof knew him before that

other people before him, but currently no one else though my fiancee mentioned missing women recently and im fine with it if her and i find one wouldnt necessarily cut out the other friend with benefits though

havent in the past

i'm not necessarily good at monogamy, but i'm loyal enough to where i won't go anywhere and i'll share my life with her always come home to her etc

i just also like other people, i compulsively flirt too without really meaning to but that's nothing serious

edit: i also tend to end up with really plutonic people and people i make a lot of pluto contacts with

and i guess the rollercoaster type **** keeps me interested too

Mars rules your DC, does your Mars aspect uranus or fall in the 3rd house?

And your Uranus rules your 5th if I remember correctly..

I think that what I meant by Venus-Uranus experience is that "open-ended" nature of the relationship. Not knowing up from down and being taken out of the comfort zone.

Moon-Uranus and Sun-Uranus both tend to feature in close relations that are long-standing. Particularly Moon-Uranus. I draw those relations easily.

I know that one can't necessarily hold prejudice for an aspect and define a whole being by that aspect. True.

Its just that in his case, the aspect was prominent(on the angles). And I don't want that experience again. Not from a lover.
