oh a chakra can definitely be over-active. It happens when the energy is focused too extremely in a chakra.

If you think of chakra's like a glass of water. Empty is pretty much closed, half full is 50% and full is 100%.

So we aim for 50% on each... and we get our % from how we are in our lives in relation to each chakra.

So someone who is emotionally un-expressive and closed will have an under-active (35% or less) 4th and 5th.

If someone has a 10% or less on any chakra it's not good at all and can in time affect one's organs. If it's 15% or less on the base chakra i would suggest immediate healing. Lots of people who commit suicide or become recluse's have a very closed base chakra.

If you want to open it, and ground the other chakra's so they don't spin out of control all you have to do is imagine all the chakra's in your body. Then add another chakra 8" above your head. From this chakra take pink/green light (gold or white is way too harsh) and imagine it running through all the chakra's. When it gets to the base, imagine another chakra about 8" below your feet (in the earth). Let the energy flow down to this chakra and run deep into the ground.

If you do this daily and then take this test in about 4 months time l think you might be pleasantly surprised.

It makes total sense that most people searching in astrology have a weaker lower half of chakra's because one looks outward in Astrology, not INward.

If you look inward and deal with all the subconscious crap then the lower chakra's strengthen dramatically.

Hope this makes sense.

Lara, I've been doing chakra meditation for over 10 years, so I would be delighted if you were to show me how to see my chakras in the mirror And if you are able to see your own chakras in the mirror, this also means you have the ability to see other peoples chakras and indeed other peoples auric fields - as they are both electromagnetic energies.

Next you will tell me you can levitate, move things with your mind and walk on water.
Of course, I don't believe you for a second! Your comments about 'closed' chakras and 'upper chakras means people live in their heads' show you have about as much understanding on chakras as I have about knitting.

Also, you can't have an open 2nd without a fairly open 3rd.

You can't have an open 5th without a fairly open 4th.

They work and affect each other in groups.

So, the enlightenment of the 2nd brings openess of the 3rd.
The enlightenment of the 3rd brings an open heart 4th.
The open heart that loves, opens the 5th.
The third eye that is open and actively used brings balance between the 7th and the base.

Betelgeuse,

WHATEVER!

I can see chakra's and l do healing on chakra's. I can astral travel and make certain things move or disappear.

If you wanna believe it great and if not who gives a **** .

I know my truth and to be honest, if you have done 10 yrs of meditation and not had any 3rd eye experiences then maybe you should try a more transcendental meditation perhaps?

You don't come across as very centred and open to others for someone who is so "meditative". Why is that?

Why would you visualise a chakra 8 inches above the head and 8 inches below the body? The root chakra is located at the base of the spine and when open, you can feel an intense throbbing. The Crown chakra when open feels like you are wearing a helmet and is located at the crown of the head. The chakras correspond to glands in the body that regulate chemicals to the body. Or more appropriately, the glands in the body are physical manifestations of how chakra energy fuels us.

And to unblock chakras, you start from the root chakra rather than the crown. The root chakra brings life force energy - prana - up through the chakras and connects them. Only when the 1st 6 chakras are open can the 7th and final chakra open fully to connect with unversal consciousness.

Are you just making this up as you go along? Or have your google skills diminished? I mean, thats how you claim to be an expert on every subject in history right? Google.

I never said people living in their heads.. lol
I said that if the upper chakra's are more open than the lower ones, one can lose track of the grounded conscious self in favour of altruistic experiences.

You know nothing! I have repaired totally blown out chakra's and seen disease in chakras and the aura so please refrain from judging and poo poo'ing others just because of your own issues!

You didnt say that eh?

quote:
The upper chakras being highest is not really so good. It means people live in their heads more and are not in touch with their subconscious/conscious lessons!

The only issue I have is a self-proclaimed majesty who insists on being the centre of all knowledge. From the way you come accross on the board, I can already tell you are not what you say you are. And I dont need to be able to see chakras or indeed auric fields for that.

YES... MORE

MORE doesn't mean TOTALLY you oxymoron!

May i suggest that you remove your ego from uranus before you answer my posts because you are just being ridiculously pedantic.

EDIT: excuse me? Don't you dare presume to know me and so what if i've been privy to a highly spiritual childhood and am happy to share knowledge. this gives you no right whatsoever to judge and put down someone whom may potentially be more knowledgeable than yourself! lol

pfffff are you french? cos if you are, it shows!

Ahh Now theres a comment that highlights your advanced spiritual state. I can see now why you are able to possess all the abilties you say you do. And I didnt realise that when a person reaches such an elevated position of evolution, as you obviously have, that the 'French' are discluded in such a way Damn... if I ever manage to reach your lofty heights, I must apologise to my french friends in advance.

Yes there was Peri. The guy's an oxymoron - i'm sorry if l offended you but he can't just be obnoxious like that when all l am doing is trying to help here.
If he doesn't believe in chakras he should get off the thread, i'm sure you agree?

He is into meditation and yet he thinks that seeing chakras and energy is a high level state of evolution?
LMAO!!!

Loads and loads of people see chakra's and if he bothered to learn about chakra's then he would know that and other things, yet instead and with minimal knowledge he decides to insult my own sharing of my personal spirituality.

go figure.

Just because i can see aura's doesn't mean i have to take any sh1t from him.

A person cannot be an oxymoron.
quote:
Noun
a figure of speech that combines two apparently contradictory terms, for example cruel kindness

A rhetorical figure in which incongruous or contradictory terms are combined, as in a deafening silence and a mournful optimist.

You mean, I assume, "moron" and that is insulting just as your ethnic slurs against French people are.

quote:
1. A stupid person; a dolt.
2. Psychology A person of mild mental retardation having a mental age of from 7 to 12 years and generally having communication and social skills enabling some degree of academic or vocational education. The term belongs to a classification system no longer in use and is now considered offensive.

haha LEXX, of course they can't which is exactly why i said it... it sounds insulting without actually insulting

I think people take my humour way too seriously on here sometimes. when i'm talking about a suvject i'm fairly proficient in then im totally seriously but when a situation needs diffusing or i'm prating around them i'm totally silly!

But why the ethnic slurs????????

And:

quote:
it sounds insulting without actually insulting
The INTENT was however to insult it appears.
Was it not?

Of course I'm an oxymoron Lara, I'm a Gemini. I'm a walking oxymoron.

quote:
If he doesn't believe in chakras he should get off the thread, i'm sure you agree?

If I didn't believe in Chakras, would I be spending 10 years working with them? Hmmm, I'll let you mull that one over.

quote:
He is into meditation and yet he thinks that seeing chakras and energy is a high level state of evolution?
LMAO!!!

The high state of evolution I spoke of in reference to you was... well let me see, you can:-
1/ See your chakras in the mirror
2/ Repair 'blown out' Chakras (not even sure what this means)
3/ Astral project
4/ Move things and make things dissappear (obviously with your telekinetic powers)

Sure I am going to dispute those things. It would make you the most advanced human on the planet. And its very obvious.... you are not.

Its sad to see Nationality bought into this though. From my experience, it has no bearing on personality - and I have many valued French friends. I also have the right to challenge what you say. If you think that is racially abusing your spirituality, then you miss the whole point of spirituality.
