It was nice to take this one...have not since Yourfriendinspirit posted one over a year ago, a different one. am I wrong in thinking that these change (the numbers) frequently depending on where we are at the moment? Or maybe I'm just being female able to have a mood change in a nano?? : Root: open (25%) Sacral: open (50%) Navel: open (56%) Heart: open (38%) Throat: open (69%) Third Eye: over-active (75%) Crown: open (38%)

also I think 69% has been mentioned as open and over active in separate instances...I know this is for fun, but any thoughts on how that could be?IP: Logged |

I probably know why my "root" and "naval" are under-active becuase right now I am stressed about graduation if I had taken this last year..it would have been different.Just like my "personality" from Meyers Briggs was INFJ but certain life circumstances have made me a INFP, though I am working on going back to a INFJ soon..being a INFP is making feel awful..=S IP: Logged |

I think that is a factor. Like when in a hurry, or distracted, or ill, or depressed or happy. I like to take the tests 3 to 5 times hours or days apart and then any answers that come up 2 out of 3 times or 3 out of 5 times I consider my results. The results usually do not vary much but it can be significant in determining closed/open/too open. I also feel the third eye one if high, can for some indicate high psi not head in the clouds. Kat and LEXX that makes sense. And I'll redux on the morrow....and the Meyers / Briggs? Yeah, me too (a change) and it should? I would hope I don't stay too much of a fixed sign rolling around in the dirt, smelling 's IP: Logged |

oh, and LEXX that psi.... I agree with that. One thing that is great here is to learn from people as to channel it. I always thought it was the Pisces Moon thang, and it is, but to learn to use it as effectively as possible is a goal for me.IP: Logged |

High crown is more head in the clouds dont you think.?May i just point out that i didn't mean LITERALLY head in the clouds, only that what are we if we have no grounding??? Grounding is everything for a solid foundation builds a skyscraper. We can only soar as high as we can dive so... !!!

I was not referring to what you said about that. It is in the descriptions at that site explaining chakras. I disagree with their interpretation.IP: Logged |

oh did they actually say that? WOW, well i will disagree with them too I do think that the ends are synched, so: base/crown sacral/third eye naval/throat heart linking them all What do you think LEXX? Maybe this is why some 35%'s are open and some are under-active?

Third Eye by TOOL Dreaming of that face again. It's bright and blue and shimmering. Grinning wide And comforting me with it's three warm and wild eyes.On my back and tumbling Down that hole and back again Rising up And wiping the webs and the dew from my withered eye. In... Out... In... Out... In... Out... A child's rhyme stuck in my head. It said that life is but a dream. I've spent so many years in question to find I've known this all along. "So good to see you. I've missed you so much. So glad it's over. I've missed you so much Came out to watch you play. Why are you running away? Came out to watch you play. Why are you running away?" Shroud-ing all the ground around me Is this holy crow above me. Black as holes within a memory And blue as our new second sun. I stick my hand into his shadow To pull the pieces from the sand. Which I attempt to reassemble To see just who I might have been. I do not recognize the vessel, But the eyes seem so familiar. Like phosphorescent desert buttons Singing one familiar song... "So good to see you. I've missed you so much. So glad it's over. I've missed you so much. Came out to watch you play. Why are you running away? Came out to watch you play. Why are you running away?" Prying open my third eye. Prying open my third eye. Prying open my third eye. Prying open my third eye. So good to see you once again. I thought that you were hiding. And you thought that I had run away. Chasing the tail of dogma. I opened my eye and there we were. So good to see you once again I thought that you were hiding from me. And you thought that I had run away. Chasing a trail of smoke and reason. Prying open my third eye. x 10 IP: Logged |

I don't know if it will help anyone, but I have a book by Sonia Choquette, that includes a chapter on chakras. She talks a little bit about each one, and provides a small list of foods that are associated with them. If any of the chakras are over-active, then she advises that you go easy when it comes to consuming those foods; if they're under-active, you should eat more of them. I'll have a look for it in a while, and may either copy parts of it, or take a photo of each page (if I can find my camera). IP: Logged |

I agree with Lexx on this one. I thought the test fitted me but not the recommendations. I think we all experience things differently, and again, we can't tell others what they do and don't experience because that's a very personal thing. If you don't experience something it doesn't mean it's not possible. And maybe, you don't experience it because you don't believe in it to begin with. I don't experience a lot of the things that other people here seem to, but I believe they're possible. I also experience things that other people don't believe, and I've had to believe in me more than anyone elses limitations/beliefs. I think it's important that we respect our different understandings, beliefs and experiences. There's not necessarily one set way of things, and our differences and sharing them peacefully is how we can learn different ways and from each other. IP: Logged |

What an interesting thread I can't help but feel, though -- that if one is turning all the stoplights green in favor of one's own wish to be at one's destination quicker, then what happens to all those other people who are inconvenienced and slowed down?? Is that fair to them??(Can't help it = ) IP: Logged |

Thats along the lines of what I was thinking, I think alot of my chakras are blocked or underactive due to major stress at the moment. Stress tends to make me retreat into my shell so I can't say I'm very 'open' as indicated by the sacral chakra. Had I taken this test maybe around last summer, I probably would have had a completely different score. I think I do rely on my 'third eye' in times like these though; escapism! Escapism! peace angel, you're still so true to your name! zala, haha! my own personal feeling is quite possibly lara is experiencing the same sorta thing i am, where she's just in the flow and stuff just kinda works and has good timing for her. correct me if i'm wrong, though, lara. i mean, if a light's just turned red, can you actually change it to green, or do you just wish for it, not noticing whether it's been red a long time, and then it changes, seemingly at your command? i think peace summed it up best. we all have different experiences and who the heck knows what any of us is capable of in our respective reality tunnels? Zala - hehe it was only an example of what we are capable of. Woah City - if l see the light ahead and it's red, it will go green and its totally conscious. A friend of mine from Oz taught me this trick 15 years ago. I have been doing it on and off ever since. You just see the red and turn it green and by the time you get to it, it is green. It's actually called creating your reality and l do it consciously through my 3rd eye. It's not something that just happens to me randomly. Things that happen randomly are: thinking about a friend and thy phone within 5 mins or bumping into people on the street having dreamt about them the night before. The more you use the Universal laws and energy, the more it will become available to you. That is it! Nothing magic, nothing freaky - just simply that belief+confidence=reality. It's what i believe Jesus was trying to teach us all along. He just did it in mass ways to get the point across IP: Logged |

Perfectly normal to me. Not freaky. It simply is how it is for me. The only drawbacks are forgetting not all folks experience such.....I have to stop and reflect how wonderful it all is, and actively appreciate it..... because such is so normal, like breathing. IP: Logged |

I suggest not reading any books Instead, just ask and you will receive. I'm not really into reading up on all these kinds of things because l prefer to just experience it in it's virginal way without my mind getting in the way, so i'm afraid l can't recommend anything. IP: Logged |

Of course you eventually drop books. But they are a good starting point. They can be read "virginally" with a mind open to receive guidance too. IP: Logged |
