quote: Love.......... Because of love and to love.
Now that is the best answer by far. My own answer would be... "To Learn!" All things that happen between our Births and Deaths are designed to teach us something. Labels of "Good or Bad" are all relative because, no matter if a thing is good or bad, it will teach you, and that is always good. Space-time is filled with both emptiness and darkness. Our job is to expand into the space and replace the darkness with light. All growth is a means of expansion and as we gain knowledge through our acquisition of truth, the light we attain from it expands our consciousness and we grow. Knowledge is to become aware of a thing. Understanding is to become aware of a things essential nature. Wisdom is to become aware of a thing's meaning or purpose. Both wisdom and understanding are simply higher degrees of knowledge, or, awareness at increasingly deeper levels. Love is the 2nd best answer to my question, the first being my own, which is, to learn. As I have said before: Truth is an expression of essence... Love is an expression of truth. There can be no love without truth, there can be no truth without knowledge and there can be no knowledge without learning. Learning is the act of expanding consciousness and one's degree of love is in direct proportion to that. Again, I quote Jesus himself who confirms my point. He said: quote: Love your neighbor (humanity) as you love your Self (essential design)
To love your Self, you must have knowledge of Self. In the knowing of your own essential nature you develop a greater awareness and sensitivity to the essential nature of others. As the knowledge of self increases, so does the knowledge of self within others and one's love for humanity deepens. Christ consciousness is the way to higher truth and a loving life. IP: Logged |

I apologoise, but I haven't read all of this thread in great detail..............Pop culture brings Music to our lives. Everyone and Everything needs Music as it brings Vibration. Vibration creates the Universe in its most perfect sense. Filter music. Filter tv. It's like picking apples out of a candy pile. There is a health issue involved. God - Christ - Vibration - Music ..........all a part of God's Overall Design. I wrote this while Edith Piaf sung gently in the background. It felt rather pleasant - good for my soul. IP: Logged |

Pop culture are the tales & bardcraft that bonds a society together, for better & worse. Given that we live in a consumerist society, some level of consumerism is probably inevitable (in the aftermath at least if not from the very beginning). But such tales & bardcraft can also inspire us, help us not feel alone, even help in healing, and can inspire us to greater as well as be used for evil (cf. the thread called The Matrix).I expect it often is used for evil more than good, but I’d say the same about a lot of things, including religions that also serve to distract us with their tales divorced from cause and effect (which I’d include Jesus, btw), used to encourage (and even mandate) societal roles that oppress the individual in favor of a corrupt state, people becoming obsessed with religious figures & rites for their own sakes, and the commercialism that pops up around them. Heck, religion is often woven into pop culture often enough… And as for MY primary purpose of life (as opposed to yours and everyone else) is To Be. I’ll happily explain that, btw. But just in case you haven’t realized it, YOUR maxims and MY maxims are pretty different.

Then why did you open your Fing mouth then Koiflower? Just like you should listen before you speak, you should read before you write. quote: Pop culture brings Music to our lives. Everyone and Everything needs Music as it brings Vibration. Vibration creates the Universe in its most perfect sense.
This is some ladi da B.S. man, you people know what I mean and you know what pop culture does. quote: But such tales & bardcraft can also inspire us, help us not feel alone, even help in healing, and can inspire us to greater as well as be used for evil (cf. the thread called The Matrix).
Can you hear the violin playing? quote: Heck, religion is often woven into pop culture often enough…
Agreed! Popular religion sucks too! quote: And as for MY primary purpose of life (as opposed to yours and everyone else) is To Be.

But it's B.S. Pire! To BE... You can sit in a rocking chair for 80 years and just be, but you "Would Be" no different than a rock, which does not have consciousness. So F--k that S--t you're talking!!! IP: Logged |

How come you Moderators never say anything when people take swipes at me countless times for days, but you always manage to tell me how the I should treat them? I am not going to unless they also do the same thing. Even in my apology POST people still insult me. Why don't you do your job moderator and go look at the post "Real People" Look at PDF and Lara and some others. When they stop, I'll sop. If not, it's just gonna get worse, I promise. I'm disgusted by it!IP: Logged |
