Day #24 hereI'm so grateful for this board. The energy is fantastic. It's fluid and dynamic, if it was a sign it would not be a fixed one for sure! I'm grateful for my wonderful life. (Yeah, I know I know... a part of me goes: What the hell are you talking about, dump girl?! Which part of 'wonderful' don't you understand?!) And this is a gratefulness journal so I'm ignoring my 'realistic' self and sticking to the feeling of gratefulness for the little goodness in my life. I'm grateful for friends here; you know, the kind that are real and 100% true to themselves and the friendship. I love the freedom of not pretending, no mind games, no tag wars or whatever else is called. Just good ol' full-on unadulterated acceptance of each other as-is and mutual appreciation. I'm grateful for HOPE. gratefully, Anongrl10 IP: Logged |

my birthday thankfulness.yesterday, i was thankful for- the birthday cake my guy brought in (he made! lemon cream torte, mmmm!) as a surprise when i was still in the bathtub, relaxing at midnight! he didn't have candles so stuck a match in the middle for me to blow off. how sweet! i am thankful for all the things I have experienced and learnt this year.
- i finally have a bed after all these years, with the frame and decent mattress that are rather new-ish. i rest peacefully, privately, on my own bed, for the first time in ages, and that is so important. - i have become a little bit closer to my father, and started getting in contact with him ever few months to report how i'm doing. - i have learnt about my psychological conditions due to my childhood experiences, so i could start pinpoint addressing the specifics causes and blocks to start my way to recovery. - i have learnt to really hate. not just someone, but the hate, disbelief and disgust for all, being a misanthrope and how it happens to people like me, who loved everyone naively, and it's not by choice but a change of a person and personality. - then i have learnt to forgive. mainly forgiving myself and just rising above it all, because hating is waste of MY time. - i have learnt to admit my mistakes and be open to criticisms. and learnt that this usually lets me win arguments. - i have learnt to unconditionally dedicate my love to animals through owning the first pet of my own. - i have learnt to appreciate what i have now, and take my mind off the worries that hasn't come yet. - i have learnt to have my emotions under control, and have calmed down much. - i am grateful for my friend who is still caring and sticking with me in the background, despite everyone else moved on while i was absent during my misanthrope phase. i DO have one true friend, and she shines all the more in comparison to the others who just disappeared. - i am grateful that although it went so quickly without any visible movement, and it felt like a year in an 80-year old's life, inside there was a little revolution. i have built a base inside myself, which prepared me for the future advances. - i am grateful, that despite all, i love my guy and he is my soul mate, and that we will pull through any obstacles. thankful that he is here and i am here. today i am grateful that i am back to working working working without getting distracted! going to finish my website verrrry soooon!!!i am grateful, that despite all, and despite me and my guy traditionally don't celebrate Christmas itself, we at least eat something special to not miss the occasion to feel the precious moment of celebration. it feels so warm and comforting to plan our humble Christmas menu with what we can get and make. When we are super rich in the future, we'll be remembering these times. IP: Logged |

THANKFUL for my new gas boiler! Was without heat for a week. Also, as a Sag, I'm most thankful for joy & laughter! Thankful for all the different people on LL who have so much to share and teach.
