[ Special edition for MsPrism ]

Hello, friends!

Let's make this a thread where we can share our favorite songs with each other.

I'll start with a summer-y tune, so you can all relax while sipping a mojito at the beach.

Washed Out - Feel It All Around http://youtu.be/-DkslcOhytU

I like Sigur Ros a lot.
My favorite is Sæglópur, the first one I ever heard by them.

Thanks a lot for the mix!
Great vibes..
I'm liking this a lot!

Do you know TWOS?

You're welcome!

Sæglópur - This is a close second to the one I posted. It makes me cry every time. It hits me hard for some reason but it's a good thing, haha.

Another one by them that hits me hard is Svefn -G- Englar.

Thank you for TWOS, I'm really enjoying them!

You might already know these...

Colloque Sentimental by Doctor Flake http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gdSz6g55UHs&list=PLEA4B64DA6B408F19

and one that I cannot wait to have a partner dance with me to:

Petite Fleur by Deuter http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZyrmGzDmEpQ

and of course

I Can Almost See You by Hammock http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-ayuRE5xd8

Great songs..!

I only know "I Can Almost See You", it fits perfectly with the atmosphere here - it's raining, 1 am..
I'm home alone, listening to pure beauty.

I've got a thing for Lo-fi, soul, underground country, blues, jazz, and ballads. Then again I also consider Chris Isaak a comedic genius, so go figure.

Great thread titles for great people.

Nah, we don't mind having a charmer over here, don't worry.

Isn't it "Lo-fi" though?
Or are we talking about different things, here..
I like glo-fi (but that's a different thing).

Nice songs you got there.
Not really my kind of thing but it's good.

MsPrism,

Hah, I knew you'd love it.
It's just pure awesomeness!

Why aren't my replies appearing?!

Oh right, Mercury retro..

Anyway, I basically said:
'OMG Slowdive, +1000 pts for you, Brontex. Love it'.

Yep.
Someone knows about shoegaze.
Faith in humanity restored.

^^

Seconded.

I can just imagine all of us hanging out together and once a song finishes, the next person in line has to put on another.

Best. Music. Night. Ever.

Brontex, you're welcome.

I used to listen to My Bloody Valentine a lot.
It's quite raw.

An old, soothing song..
Felt - Candles In A Church http://youtu.be/axULDVGYI98

I like Low a lot.
It makes my heart ache when I listen to it, especially their older albums.

Low - Words http://youtu.be/mrUoK_TvVa8

Oh! If there's one video / song everyone should absolutely watch / listen to, it's this one:

This Will Destroy You: Quiet http://youtu.be/35F6d2Utlpg

Told you.. neverending flood of ideas.

MsPrism,

Very cool.

Sharing music satisfies my need for sensory stimulation.
It's a good night, indeed.

Awe, I listened to "Words". It made me want to give you a big hug!

"This Will Destroy You" . . . did.

I say "LET IT RAIN!" I'm enjoying the flood.

Good stuff indeed. Unfortunately it's right next to Portishead on the list I can't listen to anymore---baggage and all that.
