Regardless of who is the leader, if Egyptian men are still granted tyranny over the women, then the whole system is so messed up, there is nothing to celebrate.

As the article I posted said: There are no medical protocols for rape, and police treat female victims as prostitutes. Do you see legality and politics as intertwined, the way I do?

Well said Pire! I noticed the same thing to. Was going to ask if we should start discussing stuff in another language, but then that isn't fair to the normal people who want to discuss these things to.

but would have liked to discuss what is going on with the world, not what's going on in delusional minds more often.

Well i like your posts to most of the time. and do think protest etc are a waste, but it is a measure of things changing. For starters the protests in Brazil did get a law cancelled, that was about to be passed in congress, saying that a certain political elite lot, that was being investigated for corruption (of incredible billions) can neither be investigate nor tried...so in little matters these things do work.

what caused me to post what i did was the last comment u left, before my post, it kind of suggests u know something that other people don't...and that is not true. No one knows where all these things end up leading.
I have my own opinion about Egypt,and it doesn't look to good, but i don't think i really know...

if anything it is me that is surprised that you wrote that last line...

I didn't mean it that way, I don't think anyone should feel obliged to look at the world from exactly my perspective, and I don't think my take on Egypt is *better* than anyone's. It's just my unique way of interpreting events.
