There's no video evidence. That video is Trump flailing both arms. Whether or not there were people celebrating isn't the point I'm making. I'm saying that the disabled reporter wrote a story on it in 2001 and then recanted, and then Trump was showing the reporter groveling.

Thank you StubburnVirgo

And Randall, just because I disagree with you doesn't mean I'm misinformed. I'm quite well informed actually, and I base my opinions on factual information. Not biased political rhetoric. I'm very aware of what a dirty game politics is so I always educate myself before I express my opinions. Unfortunately that is a rarity in our country.

I'm not even going to read what Catholics for Trump have to say about the matter. Aside from the name alone stating a blatantly biased opinion, I saw it with my own eyes. Fabricated??? Trump clearly made fun of him! I would be disgusted in that behavior from a child and would reprimand them for being insensitive. But from a potential US president??? I can't believe anyone would actually want him to lead our country, and sadly this is just one of many examples of his poor character. It's disturbing. Trump is notorious for never accepting responsibility for anything, and his denial about knowing the man was disabled is clearly BS.

Interesting Trump clung to the false story like a monkey on a limb . Remember, he said HE SAW:

Trump doubled down on his false claim that he saw on TV “thousands and thousands” of Muslims cheering in New Jersey. He demanded an apology and cited as his support one news story about an alleged incident that was unattributed, unverified and not televised.

As I said earlier, reading Trumps followers "explain" him is ofter sillier than Trumps origional statement.

groveling??

now he's back pedaling!

Trump's quote about Muslims celebrating 9/11

“Hey, I watched when the World Trade Center came tumbling down. And I watched in Jersey City, New Jersey, where thousands and thousands of people were cheering as that building was coming down. Thousands of people were cheering. So something’s going on. We’ve got to find out what it is.”

Dump will never, ever be caught being in Jersey City. That's enough evidence that he's lying.

btw, i was 22 when 9/11 happened. i lived in jersey on 9/11, and didn't hear nor saw 'thousands' of Muslims celebrating.

He exaggerated about the number. We all do that. But his story was corrobrated by the same reporter Trump was a accused of mocking that there were some on rooftops celebrating. Why aren't Liberals calling that reporter a liar? Trump never made fun of him. At least not of his disability. The photo was meticulously cropped. Trump was flailing BOTH arms around, like he has done other times in the past (and on videos), and they found one nanosecond to freeze-frame it to make it appear as if his one hand was mocking the reporter's. I know people don't like Trump, but the truth is still the truth. It's the visual equivalent of words taken completely out of context. And you are told ahead of time how to frame what you are about to see, of course you will "see" that.

And tonight Trump was very presidential. Even though McCain recently took a jab at him, Trump did not swing back. He took it on the chin and fully endorsed McCain. Trump also endorsed Ryan and another candidate. He called Ryan a great guy and said that they disagree on a couple of things, but they are going to work together. There are 94 days to go. This race is just beginning. Despite an incredibly biased media that has lost all objectivity and who don't even pretend to be objective anymore, Trump will blaze a trail all the way to the White House.

The Republicans have set the bar so low this was a miracle in their eyes. He only did it because his party staged an "intervention"(their words not mine). He managed to go 24 hours without saying anything stupid(on camera). So sad that this is seen as a victory.

Biased media Randall??? Even Fox News has been raking him over the coals. As cable news goes, it doesn't get anymore biased towards the Republican's interests. Trump is being forced to conform, but it won't last long. Trump is a narcissist and he doesn't take anything on the chin.

This morning in a Fox News poll(which is usually off the charts right wing) Trump's unfavorable rating was 63% and Hillary's was 55%. That's saying something when even Fox News viewers dislike Trump more than Hillary. Especially by such a large margin. I think hell has officially frozen over.

Biased in that Hillary gets a pass on things the media would crucify Trump on. They don't even pretend to be impartial. Except for FOX, they are all in Hillary's camp. The intervention was an example. Total made-up bullsh*t from an "unnamed" source. Everyone who was supposedly a part of it went on FOX News denying it. It never happened. And an intervention by its very nature is supposed to be a surprise.

Trump is going to remain focused on the failures of the Obama/Hillary administration (there's a veritable plethora of stuff to talk about) and on point with jobs, the economy, and terrorism. While Trump is finally getting with the program, Hillary is still lying about those emails. Now she's even lying about lying! Poor Hillary Rotten Clinton has lost her way. Tsk tsk. McCain took a jab at Trump, and he didn't hit back. If Trump continues to remain focused, he's going to win. Yes, in November, hell will really freeze over. And it will have absolutely nothing to do with climate change.

Trump said "I could stand in the middle of 5th Ave and shoot somebody and I wouldn't lose voters."

This is not even the worst of his statements while campaigning, but could Hillary get away with saying that? Nope! Because she's the "devil" according to Trump.

The "intervention" took place with more than a dozen Republicans speaking out against Trump in the last few days. On multiple media/TV/newspaper outlets, including Fox News, which I watched for hours Friday morning to see what they were saying. These aren't "unnamed" sources Randall, it's influential Republicans on various news outlets telling Trump to tone down the craziness. Even you sent a shout out telling him to shift his focus. Is THE Donald reading this? Oh **** , if he wins I'm in big trouble.

Trump has said more crap in the last week to disqualify him as a stable leader than Hillary has said in her entire life!

Rather than just stating your personal opinion, please inform me of all these crazy things Hillary has said and done that disqualify her from being president. I'm open minded, but seriously don't say her emails. If that's all you've got, don't bother. And please don't say she's a serial killer either. Do you realize that Donald Trump inspired the book and subsequent movie American Psycho? About a narcissistic, sociopathic misogynist concerned only with wealth, status, and power. And that was over 20 years ago.

It is not too late for Trump to Dump the Narcissism and focus on facts versus facts Presidential style debates/campaigns but he better act swiftly because Hillary is widening the lead.
