I've noticed that in the last two years I have had an extremely high libido. I've always been sexual but in the last two years, it has only increased. Part of me thinks it's my age... I'm 32 and I'm told this is the time when most women go through their peak. But now, as I learn more about astrology, I can't help but wonder if it has to do with the way my Venus is intersecting a certain house or whatever (like I said, I'm still learning). So what is your take on it? Do you think it has anything to do with the moon/stars/planet positions or just that I'm reaching my sexual peak? IP: Logged |

look at mars transits or progressions

Firstly, I'm a man, so I can only go by observances of my wife. Her libido rose in her late 20s, kept rising through her late 30s and plateaued, and has not subsided in her mid 40s. The sex is twice a day on a weekday and never mind the weekends. Expect to be active for a long time. IP: Logged |

Sometimes I wonder if a high libido suddenly and with age could be from Black Holes conjunct, squaring, opposing someone's natal Mars and/or Venus, and Pluto even... anyone else interested in this concept? I've been reading up lately how people with Black Hole love and sex planets can have very unusual, high sex drives and approaches to sex, a libido that flies through the roof unexpectedly and never comes down or sometimes rockets down and makes them celibate. [Good example would be Hugh Hefner who has a Black Hole-Mars aspect, he was apparently a 22 YO Virgin and then went Playboy crazy with time, lol.] I'm barely in my 20s and I suddenly had a crazy high sex drive out of the blue, after remaining distant and celibate from the opposite sex... like a switch flipped inside of me. I have a Black Hole almost exactly conjunct my Mars. IP: Logged |

How do you find the b holes in relation to the natal chart? I've always had a very high drive, but noticed it skyrocketed a few years ago around 27. IP: Logged |

I read an article on how female libido and tendency to have risky sex rises at age 27 as a biological response to lowering fertility in order to maximize what chances remain, and stay high through the late 30s. I'm at work, I'll post it later. or can someone Google and post for me?IP: Logged |

Don't feel bad about having a high sex drive, libragrrrl0923. Personally, I tend to think of people who have LOW sex drives as being physically defective some way. Look at all the things low libido is corresponded to - smoking, anorexia, andropause and menopause, metabolic issues, sedentariness, excess marijuana consumption. Your high sex drive likely just means that your body is healthy and recognizes this, knows that it's good time and candidate for reproduction. Don't let sexual puritans make you feel guilty for having a healthy and natural sex drive, they can go **** themselves. That is, if they're ever in the mood to do so .IP: Logged |

High libido? You are lucky, pat yourself on the back. Wish I had it, I am seeing a doctor for low testosterone and erectile dysfunction. I would be thrilled if the planets and space sent me something me something nice. I'm 35 btw and cant do a thing.IP: Logged |

Thank you all for the response! I will have to check out the black holes in my chart and see if it's related.I'll also have to look at my mars transits because it was only 5 months ago that I went from being with only women to being with only men. The desires started coming up for me about 2 years ago but it was just 5 months ago that I made the switch. It would be interesting to see what my chart shows during that time. Is there a way to look at charts from past dates? My high libido isn't something I'm ashamed of, but I will say it's does get in the way sometimes when it comes time to making smart decisions. I'm a woman but sometimes I may think with "the other head". Now that I'm dating one guy, I leave it up to him to cool me off when it gets to be too much. But even he says that he's met his match. Thank you, Sweet Scorpion. Wow, I have Venus within 1 degree of the Scorpio bh. Mars conj bh at the galatic center, and the Moon within 2 degrees of bh Pisces. Lol I am not even going to compare the rest of my chart, as it is overwhelming to think of more connections. IP: Logged |

All you do is look at your natal chart, at each individual sign and see which planets are in the same sign and within 3 degrees of one of the blackholes on the list. Example say your Venus is Taurus 3 degrees you'll see if it matches up with one of the sign placements listed. IP: Logged |

My whole chart (almost) touches those black holes, including Venus, Mars, Pluto, Sun, Lust, Lilith, Nessus etc. IP: Logged |
