^I'm going to have to disagree with that article, I see lots of narcisistic guys who are very successful with women. However I do think most women eventually wise up and leave these types of guys, even if it takes years. I think alot of younger women mistake the narcissim for confidence.IP: Logged |

LOLDo narcissists get laid? umm.. a) Do we CARE? Seriously? b) Is there anything we can do about this? If not.. see a).. WHY do we care? c) Do we really need to bring a media spotlight on this issue and make it seem like a positive damn thing - which will only attract MORE idiots - reading the article and trying to mimic the behaviour (even when they are not narcissists)? d) What came first --- the chicken or the egg?
Is all the negative media attention to dating - creating SH*T behaviour in both men and women... OR... is the behaviour there and the media is simply bringing it to our attention?

Good plan. I've always thought AG didn't go far enough in holding nearly all women under 30 in contempt and swearing not to talk to them anymore, but you, you go all the way and get everyone in one fell swoop!

Actually Odette is taking a conversation we had on here months ago completely out of context. (Pisces mercury strikes again). What I actually said was I tried acting like a jerk to a few women in the past to see how they would react. It was purely for research purposes (you wouldnt understand if you arent aquarian). This wasnt a sustained thing, It was something I did twice. My only purpose of doing my little experiments was to prove to myself that lots of girls in my generation liked jerks because everyone seemed to be in denial about the issue so I wanted to investigate matters for myself. I didnt take things far, I didnt make a habit of being mean, and I certainly didnt get laid nor was that ever my intention . My only intention was to see how girls would react if I started acting more like a jerk, Again these were short lived experiments and I didnt make a habit of being mean/rude to women, nor do I do that now.IP: Logged |

Yes I would have still done it. I'm of the opinion that the bad boy issue is a serious problem and isnt taken seriously enough. It especially annoys me when the majority of women here deny what I'm saying while proving what I have been saying is true by being obsessed with Sand. Since he was banned I have seen countless people here (mostly women) question randall and imply he wasnt fair in his treatment of sand. I hate
to break it to ya'll but randall
was very patient with sand , I
saw him warn sand to clean up
his act on several occassions,
but he never did. Sand trolled
me constantly and even stole
my picture and made a meme
of me (real mature for a guy
pushing 30) , He was also rude

lol yes.... sand - the bad boy.  I mean if you even call that being a bad boy.... then I am a bad boy myself. I was just rude ten times over, in my last post. It was silly of him to post those pics. I made a thread about it anyway asking the mods to remove the pics, as I'm sure you know.
I am sorry this happened to you. But they were removed pretty quickly. So alls well that ends well. I think we are talking about "bad boys" as in Casanova types..

People would react this way to ANY regular poster.
If I was banned.. If you were banned etc... there would be a bunch of people out there who would be upset about it. Sand also made plenty of astro-related posts and for a really long time he wasn't rude towards anyone.
I'm not sure why he started acting that way. I really don't see how this is relevant to the thread though. The people who wanted him back were not just female, and the ones who were female were not romantically *into* him anyway.

For myself, thought he was a charming online presence who took things to far and got hatchet-ed for so doing.

I guess you, me, and Randall and a few others are the only ones who have been paying attention.
So some of us do understand why he was banned and continues to get banned each time he reappears.

For a hot minute, sure, and I'm not defending his actions at all, why go where you are not wanted? AG takes it personally, to me he comes back just to get a rise out of AG. If it were up to me, he'd not be mentioned again, just ban hammer him. I really would find it difficult to care about it, or him, any less then I currently do. And FWIW, I did notice the latest one on this page, but only vaguely thought it was he, when I came back to the page Randall had already dropped the hammer on him. And yet he gloated about how many times he got warnings to behave.
He posted all over and at nobody specifically;
just used different names.
Why he does this, multiple user names and razzing folks;

I also agree with ag in that sand etc. is one type of bad boy.
Lots of women like him an awful lot.

Although actually LEXX... to be honest - I'm not even sure what we are talking about anymore.The only new thing I have learnt from all these -bad boy- threads.. is that there is no agreement on what constitutes a "bad boy" and there is no agreement on whether or not they are generally 'liked' or 'disliked'.. Odette  Well in my opinion an abusive fellow is not a bad boy;
he is a criminal and a creep.
A bad boy in my opinion is a guy who is generally fun but do not count on him for anything.
He is above all out for his jollies.
A bad boy is just charming enough that many otherwise sensible women will tolerate his crap or not judge him harshly;
especially if he gives good "flirt" lol.
A bad boy will use flattery to charm the ladies, and it often works.
If he crosses over into serious crime and physical violence or even psychological abuse;
he is no longer a basically harmless yet unreliable "bad" boy;

Right, not all of us saw everything he did. He was nice at one point, and if he suddenly turned evil, that's just confusing to begin with...especially for those of us who haven't seen the threads and haven't caught every alias. IMO, no one should be crabby about people still liking sand. Stuff falls through the cracks in forums; it's not like we're all on the same page (literally!) about what happened. And at one point he was hilarious and really livened up this place, so it's no shame to have fond memories of the good old days.
