Golden Queen peaches are the best peaches I've ever tasted. Sweet, fragrant, firm and juicy. I finished today's work and rewarded myself with two peaches. Nom nom. So good.

I stewed and pureed some for the little munchkins. It was the first time they tasted peaches. They laughed with delight and wolfed it down. Ah. Preciousssssss.......

I wish I could do that for the ferals! I think we have one or two in the garage tonight. I tried to open the door for them, but they ran away.

Good news: our new(ish) dog gave Button the cat kisses, a little while ago!

Surprisingly, I'm not nervous at all about oral arguments in class with my Appellate Brief.

I've never ever felt this way towards anyone...He's everything I ever wanted in a guy. This is the first time that I'm attracted towards a guy in a non sexual way but in a LOVE way. I like this guy for who he is on the inside. I was initially attracted to his good looks, but the more I got to know him, the more I fell in love with who he is in the inside.

Ok so I mentioned ages ago that I was going to reach out to a therapist and today I finally took the plunge and called!

I've been putting this off for too long but I know that in order to be fully functional and be the person I know I can be, I need to seek help from others and let go of trying to handle things on my own.

My first appointment is this Tuesday and while I'm still nervous, I know that this is the step I needed in the right direction.

Went to my appointment today and I'm so glad that I finally pushed myself to start this journey in order to fully heal myself and get back to my full potential/being again.

While I know that I am a fighter and I am and always have been very resilient during hardships, depression is not something that I can handle alone and despite my efforts to alleviate my feelings and internalized pain through other efforts, I need to address this head on with help in order to grow.

My first "homework assignment" is to go out and find a group/organization and attend a meeting to get myself slowly back socializing and out of my shell again.

I'm having a rare good hair day.

I'm voting for Bernie Sanders, soon, here in Ohio. And I've just noticed the time. Got to run in a minute.

Hot showers, hot tea, flower essences.

People who just let you feel what you're feeling, instead of judging you for it (and making you sound like a worthless POS, thus proving what depression is telling you).

My former feral kitties.

Friends who stick around. FRIENDS. Not "friends". I am so glad they exist, to counter those who get a kick out of you hurting, and those who exist to cause trouble.
