Those Fall Colours are Really Something!

I've got the Yellows in the Foreground.

Back near the windyroad, we have the skirted GreenYellowPinky-Red, with Russet brushstrokes between.

I have to stop and take pause every morning curtainrise.

That Invisible Mountain is pretty Awe-Inspiring, too!

Funny how it just Appears out of Misty Veils like that...

And oh my gosh, when that TrainDragon Whistles by, at its lonely foot.

Really, even the five Roses I've had blooming take a backward step and lower their heads in tribute to its melancholy.

I Really Love Autumn.

The judicial system in Missouri has prevailed. One less wrongly accussed person who'd be thrown in jail had it no been for scientific evidence.

Started a new tradition in my home last night, and we're still working on it today, just taking a break here, where we've finagled (sp?) a tree out of brown twisted paper, incl branches, in the living room. Used some staples to keep the paper together in parts, then some small nails to attach it to the wall. Painted it darker brown in vertical lines to add some interest.

So the plan for part of today has been to construct leaves and on the leaves to write messages about what we're thankful for.

Initially, I was thinking just for a thanksgiving family project, but today everyone decided to just keep it up and keep adding to it throughout the year

It's a really nice & fun project!

If it was something I thought up when I didn't have a family, I'd probably still do it but in sketchbook form or something like that, maybe cut leaf shaped paper and make a thankful journal out of it or something.

I like tangible things<3

Books.

The amount of work it takes to go BACK to school is so much more, too.
