Faithy Faith! Here's the Molokhiye! That's the Molokhiye liquified. It's done in the Egyptian style This is it over Egyptian rice and Egyptian angel-hair noodles (I don't know if there's a specific term for it in English but in Arabic it's: "Shi-riya") And with a side of chicken that's boiled first, seasoned, then lightly fried to give it a brownish crisp. Putting some salad on top gives it a wonderful zest. Courtesy of my Scorpio Sun - Cancer Moon mom. I was actually melting as I was eating it. I truly think it is my favorite dish. I just... MMMMMM... If you ever find the leaves, I can ask her for the recipe and hand it over to you. IP: Logged |

PD, that looks delicious!!!I wish I could eat it right now! The Molokhiye reminds me of something I've eaten before...what was it??? Oh yes, the mint-cilantro sauce at my favorite Indian restaurant. I also put that over rice and eat it with chicken (when I'm not being a vegetarian.) I'm touched by your mother's kindness, making such wonderful things to eat, and by your gratitude and appreciation for her. Warms my icy Cap heart which needs an external heat source

Don't even get me stttttttarted on Indian. Ugh... Garlic naan, black daal, butter chicken... And some lamb vindaloo, MMM... I'm such a foodie, it's so bad. Your comment wast tooooo sweet I just had to read it to my mom and it put a smile on her face. She said something, which is extremely difficult to translate (and transliterate) in English but it's along the lines of... "What a darling" I told her about you and how cool you are I even read her some of your past hilarious comments. I love how my mom was so aware of the drama, she would ask me: "Is it over yet? What's going on now?" LMAOOOO! I even read her some things that she laughed so hard at. IP: Logged |

Honestly, there's something about Irish people, I've seen it over and over...we have a genuine kinship. It's like the old Celtic mysticism echoes through the bloodlines. quote: Originally posted by T: I haven't had a Guinness in forever!!!! Yes, it's a meal in a glass!
Yup! Anyone who thinks otherwise hasn't drank it, and doesn't know their nutritional science. tsk tsk quote: Originally posted by T: Maybe we could all open up juni's e-card again.... and head off with those people to that lovely looking pub
I got serious chills from this. I hadn't opened the card before this morning (sorry Juni!) and when I did... Lo and behold the "pub" is not only local to me, but I would have passed it yesterday if my children agreed to come my favorite gardens for their Christmas display. PSYCHIC, psychic Juni!!! It's actually not a pub, it's artist Andrew Wyeth's home: Not available to the public, since his wife still lives there. However, my house looks a bit like that, and I will serve homemade vegetable-loaded pizza and whatever you want to drink! quote: Originally posted by T: Now wouldn't that be fun?!
UH HUH!!! quote: Originally posted by T: That one was loaded with artichokes, broccoli, cauliflower, roasted red peppers, caramelized onions, mushrooms, spinach, garlic, black olives.
I'm getting fat just reading this. LOL Actually I had a wonderful dream last night. My childhood friend's mother, who is deceased, visited me in a dream for the first time in at least a decade. I wouldn't mention this except I loved her so much and I am lingering in the warmth of that visit. She was counselling me about my imminent, dramatic weight gain (I am 5'6" and 113 pounds...I gained 5 pounds this fall.) She has slimmed down on the Other Side, and it was a delightful inversion of the roles we used to be in, where she was always trying to lose weight and I was always trying to gain it. Oh well, a few more glasses of Guiness, a few more pizzas and an Egyptian gourmet dish and a new, larger-sized wardrobe won't be catastrophic.

Game time!Simple Astrological Ways To Figure Yourself Out (Without Therapy)—-Part Ocho de Festivus—-MARS I am all about keeping it real and to the point. Clearly, Aquas love to have fun but the wit is a bonus. Heh. I am a firm believer that the best counselor you can have is you. We can explore together ways to help us understand who we are better. Astrology is a daunting task, but hey I teach so why not do it? So...lets discuss MARS! Forget the psychobabble, I am not a psychologist or psychiatrist (although that seems to an issue here...) lets talk like humans!!!!!!! Mars- the God of War, rules our energy, actions, vitality, and desires. This is the planet that does or does not help us get up in the morning, our basic sexual nature, how we express our anger, and our first instinct of action. The symbol, the glyph, shows the circle of spirit directed outwards into the world. Mars is exalted in Capricorn, fall in Cancer, and detriment in Libra. Its ruler, however, is Aries. When Mars is afflicted or has many afflictions in the birth chart, it can lead to pressing the fire within us. A stifled Mars will eventually erupt, and can lead to constant irritability. Here is a good analogy: I like to think of it as a difficult brown. And like any difficult brown, you want to flush that shi.t down the toilet. Have you ever had to deal with a scratch on your back you simply couldn't get rid of no matter how much you tried? A major itch that simply won't be cured no matter what you do? Yeah, me neither. Weird. That is how stifled Mars energy works: it is a frustrating thing to deal with because the energy isn't expressed properly and BOOM it is erupts. However if Mars is more positively aspected, progress is more likely to be achieved with less conflict. But really, there are no bad aspects. More tense aspects can enable our personality to grow and our destiny to further progress. I would know: Sun square Mars, Mats square Pluto. The clapback is legendary. Mars takes risks, even if they cause divisions or feuds. Courage belongs to Mars, and Mars soaks up lively competition. Mars, therefore can be your biggest foe or helper. Expect Pisces Mars, I that one IDK man, IDK. Say check please and run! Mars energy only is negative when it serves the ego, and not a higher cause. On a social level, it can become destructive when its collective power is harnessed for questionable purposes. Cool, rad, powerful. Your Mars, or desire drives, channeled and influenced by others. That makes a strong case for wanting to understand your desires, and not allowing them to fall into shadow. Mars goes into retrograde for approximately 11 weeks every 25 months or so, and when this occurs in a chart, there can be problems. Instead of sending energy outwards to achieve their goals, Mars in retrograde must turn inwards to find their motivation. But I won't be preachy and talk down to you, so lets make it interactive. 1) What is your Mars sign? 2) What house is it in? 3) What positive and negative aspects do you have? 4) How does Mars manifest in your life? Ready, set, gooooooooo. #Break the Internet #Whenwillyourfaves

FUN FUN FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I loooooooooooooooooove it. Great insights. Awesome layout. PERFECTO. Your creativity is immense Now, to get to the technical part... 1) Aqua Mars 2) The 1st... RAWR. 3) Trines Gemini Moon. Squares MC and Jupiter! 4) I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE to dance. Like it's crazy. I have to give myself a pat in the back and say that I am also a pretty good dancer. I often feel like I do weird sh*t. I spy on people through the cracks of a door while they do mundane things, like watch TV or cook and expose my self by cracking up. I crawl on the floor past people hoping they won't see me... I've danced in public (streets in front of everyone). Done VERY foolish, silly things in public. I love to rile people up and talk to them, hit on them and f*ck around. The randomest things set me off, but things that many people would expect to explode over, I'd usually remain very calm. I'm not passive-aggressive... THANK GOD. I can be relentless if I am serving my ideals or my beliefs. SUPER DARING. Such a rough-houser. I get along well with men and engage them in wrestling and such. I like women who have a masculine-aggressive-boyish flare to them. EXCELLENT DRIVER. I speed but maneuver expertly and safely. Huge sexual appetite . I am a vicious psycho once I feel I am being severely verbally and physically abused. I fear no one when I reach that point of rage. REBEL REBEL REBEL against oppressive social constructs. My energy levels are very erratic and sudden. Basically, I love my Mars. It's dope. I am the craziest dare-devil. Free-fell about 350ft, and waiting to skydive. Jumped off a mini-cliff in San Francisco as people took out their videos to record me LMAO!!!! Randomly got into this guy's car I don't know and sat there, gave him my address to take me home, and continued texting on my phone (it was a dare). That's all owing to that Jupiter square. THAT'S MY MARS! WEEEEEEEEEEE! IP: Logged |

Bella, I love that H&H is a "forum about nothing". Just being able to post whatever content you want since there is no general theme to it. Thanks for posting the survey (game) here! It made me laugh and put me in a good mood. You truly did spread the positivity in your own, special, Aquarian way. And I absolutely get it. Being that I'm also a Water-bearer ASC IP: Logged |

It is not pertained anywhere because this is a Forum about nothing. There are no rules in H&H that state you can't post things of an astrological nature. Whatever "digs" at Ami that you guys "saw" were removed as Randall, the webmaster, requested. The warning is unwarranted. No reason to close the thread. No violations here. IP: Logged |

Cool! Do you think my venus conjuncts your mars? First house mars is so awesome, probably a good thing with all my squares that it isn't. The spying thing sounds kind of creepy though! lolol It makes it sound as if you are playing hide and go seek by yourself.
