I have Apollo conjunct Mercury which rules my 7th house and the below description truly fits: In your natal chart, Apollo symbolizes musical or creative talent with an attitude that is fairly, sex and rock’n’roll. There is a natural grace here and elegance, with the desire to broaden one’s horizons. With this energy, you desire to live life, and love, to the fullest. I am not convinced of the homosexual/bisexual predisposition linked here with the crossing of the Venus and Mars orbit and the mentions in the Myth. Studying three homosexual artists revealed zero Apollo connection so scratch that. I would use Apollo as an indication of a complete lack of bias regarding lovers, where connection is made solely on attraction alone. Apollo relationships experience no gender or type preference, so many ‘unusual’ forms of attractions and relations would eventuate from this energy. One would need to be aware with an intense Apollo influence of falling in love with love alone, frequently attracting the type who lack the desire for commitment, or being this sort of individual themselves. It would indicate a predisposition for short time love affairs and a lack of ability to last through intense times when reality does filter through the rush of initial attraction. There is also jealousy indicated with Apollo. The attitude of not wanting the individual on a permanent basis, but not wanting the individual to be with anyone else. In the story of Coronis, on discovering that she was pregnant to another, Apollo ordered his sister to slay her because he could not bring himself to perform the deed. In your natal chart, you find this unnatural possessiveness and vengeful nature by past lovers. This would be particularly interesting to monitor via transit when past lovers take a ‘stalker like approach’ or become particularly negative and possessive after a break up. In general, this is a peace loving influence, preferring the eternal party and the withdrawal from the competitive world. However, there is a strong ego here and once crossed with criticism, or love is denied when interest has been expressed, the darker side of revenge and ruthlessness is revealed. Also, aspects to Apollo would indicate a heightened intuitive gift with an ability to be very in tune with predictions of a futuristic nature. You will protect the right to believe in the unseen and are more drawn to the ancient arts of prophecy than many others. IP: Logged |

I can relate to this! The inexplicable sense of ... rage; a sort of 'how dare you think of me in those terms!' It's quite bothersome when you're involved in relationships. Almost an odd feeling I've got to continuously stuff down. I do love my boyfriend's approach; my husband is very sexual, but he's been learning, slowly, how I need to be approached, if there's to be any sort of sexual relating whatsoever. My boyfriend is dedicated. He appreciates the aesthetic beauty he beholds of me; he also is legitimately attracted to my mind and, honestly, soul. He enjoys the fact that it's all wrapped up in a neat little package, but he doesn't seek anything from me sexually. At all. Ever. Curiously, that's what's inspired me to want to offer it -- well, within reason. I still have my very strong limits. Anyhow, I'd never seen it phrased quite that way. Thank you! I can deeply empathise. IP: Logged |

That is interesting Auby bc I have left guys hanging some even at hotels bc they expected sex quite a number of times and the ones that truly don't expect it are the ones that typically get that gift. However I don't mind been desired at all my issue is with "how dare you expect sex from me" type of thing. IP: Logged |

So I am having trouble figuring out how to make Artemis appear in my chart. I typed in the code then tried typing the code and it won't show up in my chart 😕. Butttttt I will say that I am 21 and still a virgin but I think it have more to do with saturn in my 8th house lol. It's like I'm Soooo uncomfortable with my sex side lol. I don't even like watching moves or shows that involve a sex or make out scene. My friends will be watching it like:😍😍😍😍😍❤️and I'm over here like:😷😕😁🙈‘ lol. ------------------ May 26, 94' 5* Gemini Sun, 10th H 25* Sag Moon, 5th H 26* Gem Mercury, 11th H 5* Cancer Venus, 11th H 2* Taurus Mars, 9th conj MC 11* Pieces Saturn, 8th H IP: Logged |

Yeah, I fit in here too and I have Artemis conj. my Moon in Virgo. I also have BML-Pallas opp. my Moon.Only 1 ex, and a Twin Flame to speak of. I actually did manage to develop a physical desire for the ex (and he most certainly had that for me, and still does...), but nothing ever came of it. Not even in the astral realms. Twin is the only one I've truly shared with. There hasn't been anyone else since. quote: Originally posted by Ceridwen: It is almost funny buthis Apollo 26°02 Virgo my Artemis 27°10 Pisces So we are brother and sister?
I remember commenting on this connection between my Beloved Twin and I sometime last year, where he had; Sun-Apollo conj., and I have Moon-Artemis conj. His Sun is both conj. and parallel my Moon, while my Moon sits on his Ceres, Vx-Valentine and is also loosely conj. his DC. quote: Originally posted by Aubyanne: I do want to add, that, yes, I DO experience a very powerful, even profound attraction to my boyfriend that is undeniably sexual. But it's of a different kind: a more primal, merging variety. Such as 'I need to feel you inside of me, for it's then that I become you, and you are now me, and in this moment between moments, we are truly one, together'. It's a genuine merging; our auras 'pierced' by the other to allow the blending and combining of two into one. Sexual intercourse is such a powerful metaphoric experience of this sort of binding and bonding. It's never about pleasure or even physicality for me. I always find myself returning later to the moment I first feel him, and we relish in it together; he's hyper-aware of everything that I am, and I surrender myself to the profundity of the love we're creating as a result of this trust exercise and exchange of vulnerability for protection and vice versa. Sex is psychological, in other words. The physical element is crucial, as it takes me out of being locked within my head. I'm no longer isolated. I'm literally 'invaded' by the presence of external stimuli -- reminding me that it's there, and I'm not alone. Then, in being so lovingly, carefully, and vigilantly possessed by it -- by him -- it's really then, and only then, I can free myself from my own stringent self-controls, which I also live by, on a daily basis. So I do experience a sort of sexual attraction to him, but it's the desire to merge and be merged. To experience that oneness, where time literally slows and almost stops, and we are truly one and the same, together. Ahh. 11:11.
Yep, and it comes so naturally. It just feels so incredibly natural; not only this need to merge, but because this is the way it's to be. Like it was always meant to be...A real homecoming. IP: Logged |

quote: Originally posted by Petronilla: What about other virgin goddesses (like Pallas Athena, or Diana (78)) or mythological figures (like Camilla (107), named after Camilla of the Volsci)?Definitely a 'permavirgin' here, but Artemis doesn't really do anything interesting in my chart - apart from being in my 7th house. However, I have: Pallas conjunct Saturn (less than 1 degree) Pallas conjunct Nymphe (less than 1 degree) Pallas conjunct Mars (4 degrees, not sure if that counts) Pluto conjunct Diana (less than 2 degrees) Diana conjunct Camilla (less than 2 degrees) (And Venus square Pluto (less than 1 degree).) All of that in the 3rd house, apart from Mars in the 2nd; and all in Libra, apart from Camilla in Scorpio. It makes perfect sense to me, I think. I'm a very 'militant virgin' It may sound odd, but if somebody shows some kind of a sexual interest in me, I get angry. Of course I don't lash out unless the other person is rude, but deep down, I'm furious that anyone even DARES to think of me that way. I've always been like that. It's a very 'Artemis' thing (poor Actaeon!), which makes me wonder why Artemis is so inactive in my chart. But I suppose it's a very Diana and Camilla type of thing, as well. (I suppose, also, that it's not at all surprising that I have a life-long fascination with war history...)
In your natal chart, Diana is an extremely sacred place, a place that no one will touch. This may or may not be religious, but it is spiritual, and private, a sacred and personal element of the psyche. Much detail would be revealed by rulership considerations, as well as house positioning. Diana in transit indicates a time of protection and withdrawal into the home environment. It indicates a deeper connection to the natural world, a getting back to basics approach and a tightening of the personal faith connection. You would also look towards Diana transits for the prospect of pregnancy and childbirth. My brother has Diana in scorpio @ 29d in his 5th. His Pluto conjuncts his Valentine.

Hypatia, I've got the exact same Apollo placement and it fits me to a T. IP: Logged |

I'll throw into here; I've got Artemis in Leo square my Scorpio Sun stellium- specifically my Pluto to the exact degree.I would probably consider myself leaning asexual, although I do see sex and it's related topics as something quite healthy and creative, so I don't mind indulging (Artemis is loosely conjunct my Jupiter as well, also in Leo). But it can be exhausting because it feels like a literal death/rebirth whenever I invest in it. Go big or go home, I guess? If it doesn't have a 'purpose' though, I tend to feel extremely uncomfortable and often struggle to stay within the mindset of it. I read the early responses from Aubyanne and what they said about extreme compartmentalisation-- that sounds right along this alley. IP: Logged |

I met a guy last year who is 40 and is a virgin, he has Artemis conjunct DC by 6 degrees.I have it conjunct my venus and mars in leo in the 8th and am definitely not a virgin or asexual but I do like the fantasy of been a virgin and giving myself to someone completely and fully and just been theirs but I like the fantasy like in a kink type of way, not in reality. I have Artemis conjunct AC. I'm not married yet and am not a virgin. Although I really like the thought of staying virgin until marriage, and find it so pure and romantic, but personally for me circumstances did not allow that due to getting heavily seduced. IP: Logged |
