I must say that you are right, the Soul makes the person. Welcome orchidspirit, I am new to this thread and I hadn't seen your name before. We are blessed to have your sharings. I have to admit that I have worried about the world this week. In the past ten or so days, the police have found at least eight or nine shooting victims and reported four fatal car accidents in our area. This is the six city area of Hampton Roads, Va., but it seems to be an increasing trend. JB, you and I have shared where we think we are in the Phoenix Days, please tell everyone that you know to be extra careful and to really listen to their Guide and always go with that "feeling" that tells you the true way to go. Have you noticed any strange changes or increases in your area lately? I am trying to not make any unnecessary trips and to combine the ones I can. I don't if it will help, but why give the others any extra chances? I don't want to be a downer so I will share a good deed. I have two jobs and the part time one is delivering pizzas for a company. Tonight, one of the girls who work inside was not feeling well because she hadn't eaten all day. I happened to have a moment, so I stopped and bought her a sandwich and fries. When I brought them to her, you would have I saved her child from sharks or something. The hug and big smile that I got made the whole day worthwhile and lifted me right up. Isn't it wonderful how such a simple act can enrich two or more people so much? I hope that you were able to gift someone today. Has anyone else gotten a lift like that? From me to all of you: Smile at a stranger and Say hello to someone in The next car over. You will make a difference In the lives of at least Two people: Theirs and someone who Really needs it. You. ------------------ May you walk in peace and harmony with the Great Spirit. weeseldad IP: Logged |

How are you guys? I pray that everyone is well at your home. This little story is for you, JB. Yesterday or earlier today, a little girl was kidnapped from her home and was actually taken out of her window. Then, her dog started barking and someone paid attention and the child was recovered in her backyard. Isn't it wonderful how God can work? I thought you would like this one. That's about all for me.------------------ May you walk in peace and harmony with the Great Spirit. weeseldad IP: Logged |

I watched and checked for your post but missed it. I was starting to worry hurricane Frances had caused you a problem. So happy to see it was my error. Welcome Orchidspirit and I hope you can join us in our discussion!! Yes, sadly I have noticed an increase in odd happings here.Weather, crime, but mostly the wildlife. Very disturbing to me. It could be based on the odd weather we`re experiencing.... but that don`t quite fit the odd behavior of my house companions (cats & dogs) or my pastured ones (LLamas & horses). Thank God for the little girls dog barking. Dogs are a Blessed gift from our Creator. It is wonderful to share a smile and a moment in time to help another. I believe service to others is a key componet to fullfilling ourselves and our human purpose. It is good to know you take that responsibility to heart Weeseldad, may I ask how you came to lindaland? It is a richer place for you being here and I wondered who to send thanks to to you and yours. ------------------ If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans. ~James Herriot IP: Logged |

Thankyou Weeseldad and Juniperb for the warm welcome to this thread It is always a pleasure to be among like minded individuals. I have not noticed anything strange happening over here in the UK other than the change in weather patterns, I do though have to confess much of my time is taken up with my 3 young children. Weeseldad your little verse reminds me of a poem I have on a fridge magnet called the value of a smile I posted it here only yesterday : http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum17/HTML/000471.html I hope you both like it. I guess that you can send thanks to Summer herself. I believe that I mentioned that I was in Baltimore for awhile. While I was there, I started rereading Daybreak. When I returned, I typed "Mary Summer Rain" into Google and "Any MSR Readers" popped up so I went there, met you and was hooked. After all, us Phoenix Folks are sort of rare or in hiding, so we have to stay in touch. To answer you, my pets have been weird lately also. I have been attributing it to the unsettled weather, but I guess I will have to listen to them closer. They usually know what they are talking about. I assume that you converse with your animals also. If nothing else, they usually agree with me if it involves food. The weather hasn't been too bad here, but that is why I chose here. I live about fifteen minutes from Cacye's A.R.E. and I was led here about seventeen years ago. I will relate more about that later if you like. I have a question, I tried to go to your website, Heaven Home, but it is not found. Is it still there or changed names? Remember, say "Hi" to children and strangers and pet the 4 legs.------------------ May you walk in peace and harmony with the Great Spirit. weeseldad IP: Logged |

Hello, yes I converse with my four leggeds If I ever ran for office, at least I`d have their votes! Do you visit the A.R.E.? Cayce has been a study of mine for years along w/Ruth Montgomery. After I read their info on a pole shift coupled w/Marys Phoenix Days, I looked deep and hard at where I live. Not much chance here of surviving a shift or a break in the New Madrid fault. Yet when I thought of leaving my home area, I knew I couldn`t. This leads me to believe I`m where I`m ment to be, regardless of how the catstrophies play out. God has a plan and Design for each of us and somehow my purpose is to be here. The land of my ancestors. My fate is in the creators hands on this one and I`m following my heart. Is this how you feel about Virginia? ------------------ If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans. ~James Herriot IP: Logged |

Hello again. Actually, I have visited the A.R.E. only a few times. To explain, I must go back a bit. When I was in Junior High, I regularly experienced things that are considered paranormal. I always thought that everyone did. You can imagine how astonished I was that only a handful of people were like me. As I grew older, I read anything I could to understand what or who I was. One of the leaders in the field was Cacye. To make a long story short, he chose Virginia Beach as a stable area during the coming changes he forsaw. As it turned out, we fell in love with Va. and ended up here when I retired from the Navy. I don't think we will leave unless our Guides compel us. Every time I travel, I always come back. This is home, no matter what. Have you ever had a bad start to your day and didn't know why? This morning, when I got to work, nothing I did was right until late morning. At the end of the day I found out that I had driven right past a dead man in our parking lot at the construction sight! Talk about getting close. I briefly thought about becoming a hermit on a mountain. I pray for the world, but I'm afraid that it's not enough. Hope your week started better. By the way, I finally figured out that I am normal, for me. Did you go through any strange times in your life before you accepted yourself? As always, thanks for listening. ------------------ May you walk in peace and harmony with the Great Spirit. weeseldad IP: Logged |

We meet again I have always felt I had a past with Virginia. And it is much more than it is my name as well Yes, I was an "odd" child too. Makes one quiet and drawn into nature doesn`t it? There you are part of the creation and words like normal disappear into thin air. I`m glad, and I know your Wife is too, you didn`t become a hermit. Each of us has some service to do. It is all good I hope your week went better for you!!! ------------------ If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans. ~James Herriot IP: Logged |

Yes, I was always more at home in the forest or on an empty beach than anywhere else. It does have one advantage, you have a lot of time to think and meditate. I felt that the world was rushing to something before I read any of Summer's books. I just didn't know what it was. I don't know when I will be called Home, but I am trying to do my best to help others find their way to the Light, while I am here this time. I did find a like minded person at work the other day, maybe he'll turn out to be one of us. Have you wondered why we fell over each other on this site? I did briefly and then I remembered a quote from Shirley McLaine. In one of her books, she was asked how she found her teacher, she replied;"When the student is ready, the teacher will appear." I believe that M.S.R. said something very like that. I just wonder what role this Seeker will play as we go on. The news was full of evidence that the Guardians have gone on break. I understand that a rock even ran over some guy on a bicycle endurance race. What do you say? Please be careful and tell your loved ones to always go with the Light when they go out. I have a strange happening to relate. Last night, I was driving to a pizza delivery when I noticed a police officer in his car off to the side of the road. I slowed down and looked to see if he was ok, something I do for anyone. As I approached the next intersection, the light was green so I went through. Just as I did, an oncoming car turned left, right in front of me. If I had not slowed by the cop,it would have hit me right in the door. As it is, everyone is alright. Gives one, pause does it not? For now; ------------------ May you walk in peace and harmony with the Great Spirit. weeseldad IP: Logged |

I couldn't wait to post this little story for you and ordhidspirit. I don't think I mentioned that I am an avid reader, especially of books concerning the Spiritual paths and how to reach or teach others. Anyway, I am not usually given to look for books in supermarkets. On Wedensday night I stopped at our local store to pick up a few things. As I was passing the "markdown rack" I noticed some books there. I was going to walk by, but something unbelieveable happened. My Guide all but turned me around and pushed me to the rack. As I looked at the things there I was compelled to look at the books. One of them literally jumped into my hand. It is by an author that I had never heard of, Frank Peretti. The book is "This Present Darkness". It tells the story of a battle between Light and Darkness in a small town. The townspeople are involved and there is great detail about the importance of prayer and Faith. The story so parallels the things that Noeyes fortold that it is as if the author took M.S.R.'s books and made them a novel. Some research online told me that Mr. Peretti is a well known Christian author. All I can say is that everyone should read it and take a lesson and hope from it. Get a copy and you'll see what I mean. I wanted to tell this because my Guide has never been so forceful with me unless I was in danger. As soon as I finish the book, I'll try to relate what I learned. I hope someone else has read some of his books and will share their thoughts. I noticed that some of the knowflakes that posted before haven't been sharing lately. .........c'mon you guys & gals, jump in and share and ask, it is the only way that we can all learn from each other and go out and pass on the gift of knowledge. As always; ------------------ May you walk in peace and harmony with the Great Spirit. weeseldad IP: Logged |

Good morning , our prayers for Floridians and Gulf coasters today Are the Guardians beginning their sleep ? Have the deepest faith that "when the student is ready, the Teacher will appear". We are taught every day in so many ways. If the heart listens, the lesson is learned. May your new friend be one you can share lifes beauty with. It`s wonderful you know your Guide and see the Blessings of being "watchful". Thank you for introducing the author to us. MSR`s message is timeless and an Awakening is taking hold. If we`re "watchful", we will see the syncronicity of her message blend into others messages; if the heart listens I look forward to your sharing of Frank Peretti`s message . Memory is a silly thing . I forgot to ask you if you read MSR`s Seventh Mesa? Fiction is how it`s classified. Would you say Fiction has a start from some ancient time ? This story will fill your heart, stir it and make you ask yourself "is it fiction" Happy reading ------------------ If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans. ~James Herriot IP: Logged |

Now there are two angels because I greet both of you. Yes, of course fiction was from time before time. If we were in ancient Ireland and someone used a lighter and we related the story to someone who wasn't there; wouldn't it be deemed to be a "story"? From the book I am reading so far the author is stressing the importance of daily prayer to keep us on the path of Light. I agree although I must confess that my prayers are more like a conversation. And if I listen close, I can usually figure out the answer, even if it wasn't what I expected. The battle of good and evil is shaping up and I haven't read any more, but I will, this week. jb, I have an interesting anecdote. We have a Juniper tree growing near our backdoor. At least once a year, my wife or one of the kids wants to cut it down because it hits the house if not trimmed. For years, I have refused to remove it. I don't know if it means anything at all, but I just kept it because. I wonder if my tree and your screenname are coincidental, or maybe I have a precognitive tree. If it tells me, I'll pass it on. One more thought. When I was young, I watched Buck Rogers on tv. When I was an adult I watched Neil Armstrong on tv. I think there is a message there. How delightful The Latin name for the tree is :Juniperus virginiana. Red cedar. The hardy tree loves to grow and branch out to the Heavens. A good trim is required to keep it grounded . Since we don`t believe in coincidences.... Please do share any messages the tree may lovingly give you!! God hears all and loves your conversation, and you.

Of course there are no coincidences. I told the tree "Hi" for you. I have been feeling up lately, but I made the error of listening to the news today. It seems that Mt. St. Helens is going to erupt again. When you put that with the weather this year and all of the other things that are happening, I think that we are well into the Phoenix days. If the Guardians are not sleeping, they are taking a serious coffee break. I am not worried, because I am as ready as I can be for whatever I am called to do. I do believe "that to everything there is a season."------------------ May you walk in peace and harmony with the Great Spirit. weeseldad IP: Logged |

*Hugs to Juni and hello to weaseldad~* I just wanted to whisper a hello to you and say I was happy you had this somewhat private sharing.... Private in that it is mostly the two of you back and forth, and I respect that.... but I wanted to stomp on in here with big ol' boots on, dripping rain from my slicker all over your freshly washed floor, cackling madly, to say hello like a crazy neighbour... Just because I miss you. I am glad your light still shnes as brightly. I was drawn in from the cold to your covered porch, quiet conversation beckoning me........ Forgive my intrusion, but I have some pie!!!! Here's a slice...~ ~IP: Logged |

I am embarrased. Pixie, sorry about that. I streamed through the postings fast and I thought that there were more new names . I apologize again. If you consider the weather this year and the recent eruption of Mt. St. Helens and the various mudslides and similar incidents around the world, I'd say that The Earth Mother is beginning to react to the things that we are doing to her. What do you think? As I am typing this, I just heard about a fatal accident involving a motorcycle and a car inside of the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel. Once again, I am reminded to be extra careful because the Guardians are withdrawing. I know that I will be called Home sometime, but I see no reason to give the Dark side any extra shots or to get in harm's way unnecessarily. Any thoughts or insights on these times? I'll look for some good things to share. As always;------------------ May you walk in peace and harmony with the Great Spirit. weeseldad IP: Logged |

this is quite a lovely thread. i love reading your insights, weaseldad, as well as your very kind attitude towards always helping others. the universe does keep those kind souls within her protective wingspan. i haven't read any mary summer rain books, but several years ago, when i was discovering linda goodman books, the mary summer rain books beckoned me as well. i think i loved the music of her name, and i always meant to purchase them. then things happened; i read linda's books like drinking water in a desert. then my life tumbled forward and i pushed even my linda goodman books out of my consciousness for a few years and i never got back to mary summer rain. weaseldad, i've read a few of shirley mclain's books too and they do fit nicely into this theme. have you read any of linda goodman's works? i find so much of your words relevant....i believe linda grew up in Virginia (or west virginia maybe). her pivotal book, Gooberz, is a hampton roads book as well. on the spine it says 'IMAGE 10' just above the hampton roads mark. she subscribed to much of cayce's writings, and mentions him in Gooberz. and, as you included john denver's song here, rocky mountain high (that was so beautiful, thank you ) i thought it interesting that linda embarked on her spiritual journey in the colorado mountains. you truly are a knowflake at heart! so much of what you've written resonates with linda goodman! and as this is a linda goodman site..... also that mary summer rain was of the native american tradition. that was a big area of spiritual connection for linda as well. in fact she had spoken of beginnging her own spiritual path consisting of native american beliefs and those of st. francis of assisi. her path was to be called Manitou or Mannitou, i think. (i think it means great spirit). this also resonates with the earth day song you posted by john denver....so very nice! well, anyway, this is a good thread, and i hope to contribute more as i read some of the msr works.
