Curious because I`m pondering a couple of her statements re: a civil uprising in America and was looking for thoughts on it.

Are you kidding, she is one of my favorites.

I have;

Spirit Song
Phoenix Rising
Dreamwalker
Phantoms Afoot
The Visitation

I especially love the first two No Eyes series, Spirit Song and Phoenix Rising.

Prox, she`s a very private person. She doesn`t even have a web site. Her books are only softcopy available from Hampton Roads (besides the book store )

Mary Summer Rain was a great influence on my spiritual quest. A wonderful old soul

Nephts, I have them all including her two 'fiction' and childrens books.

I was curious as to which state of rising the Phoenix is in others opinions.

It seems to me we are thru (mostly anyhow)the first six and moving rapidly into The Wailing/Nuclear incidents and Talons Tensing/Civil Unrest.

I`ve watched it unfold since I first read the book and it`s been uncanny and enlightening.

Heya Prox, sure I will try.

Mary Summer Rain with her Shaman Teacher, No Eyes; an aged Chippewa Indian woman, put together the Phoenix Chronicles to cover the events to occur between 1982 and the ultimate time of Peace/Global Unity et al. No Eyes was a visionary; an ancient soul filled with the wisdom of the ages (and future). There are no dates for timetables but events which will occur.

She used the analogy of the Phoenix being in the Earths womb and the birthing stages it goes thru to finally fly free in peace.

I will list the first few birthing stages and if you`d like, I can do the rest

Contractions are Economics aspects.

Massive blue collar strikes
Relocation of key factories overseas
Computerization of factories
Extended import/export embargos/taxations
Increased unemploymeny
Widespread factory shutdowns
Excessive taxation
Small business failures
Insolvency of many banks
Stock market misdealings/decline
Drastic construction decline
Devaluation of real estate
Increase in corporate crime
Drop in level of manifactured goods
Increase of corporate monopolies/takeovers
Increase in personal bankruptcies
Widespread layoffs
Runaway credit purchases
Cash as only accepted tender.

Emerging is natural disasters.

Major devastation in CA
Earthquakes in new areas
Inactive craters becomming unsettled
Mountains becomming unstable
Return of the dust bowl
Record breaking flooding
Tornados increase intensity and occasion
Liquification of soil beneath faults
Intensified hurricane devastation
Freak wind gusts/accidents
Soil erosion
Increased radon levels
Rock/ mud slides
Insect infestation
Sink holes
Rapid temperature inversions
Frigid winters/ deadly blizzards
Summer storms with intensified hail/lightening
Seeping natural gas ( fires/explosions)
Underground fires
Widesoread surface blazes
Major quake of the New Madrid Fault (southern IL or northeastern Arkansas) which may jeopardize the entire Mississippi River Valley area.
Greenish hue to atmosphere-Pheonix days.
Higher pollution levels.

Shipping disasters increase
Higher incidents of train derailments/accidents

Listening is Freak deaths and accidents

Germ warfare release accident.

Breath heaving is Discord between Nations

Prox, I saw on the news tonight the awful drought in Arizona and the huge dust cloud that blew into Phoenix. The horrible foott of rain & ensued flooding in N.J. and the tornados/hail and rain damage here yesterday (we don`t do tornados up here either)

Love and Lite to those in those areas

I know re: the dust storm.
Jase and I saw that on CNN while eating dinner last night. He said, "Great, another Dust Bowl..." while I just sat there dumbstruck.

Thank you for posting all of that.
At first I read it with a grain of salt, but then I really thought about what it had to say. Sometimes when you're too close to something, you can't see it clearly - as these events have been going on all of my life (born in '80), I didn't see them as anything out of the ordinary; but when I really thought about things, they do seem to fall into place.

What was the year Chernyoble ( SP ) melted down

So far we`ve (as you said) accepted each event and the way it goes. The next events will be a little harder to accept as the norm. (my onion)

Thanks guys,

Have been looking for something new to read these days and have heard of Mary summer rain before but wasn't sure if I should read or not. This is great and look forward to some good reading soon. Is there any one book that you would suggest that I read first?

Well, Juni, at least Mary's story has a happy ending. Looks like quite the bumpy ride in the meantime though. "Taxation refusal" in particular looks like fun. Where would you all say we are in the countdown?

April 26, 1986 btw. I don't think we in America realize how catastrophic Chernobyl really was.

Hiya Tink

Yes, a happy ending

I think if these events are to play out ( and good research will show many have) it may not be as lumped together as it appears.

I think some occured in a different birthing phase (the unforseen & believing nothing is linear) .

I believe the 'Wailing' has occured without much info to the public which moves us to 'Talons Tensing' and exposing the cover ups of the 'Wailing'. This I believe will blend us into the 'Crouching' phase.

The actual book is the back up for the insights and support of her assertions.

Tink, I highly recommend her books to you personally . Start with her first book in the No Eyes series and you`ll be hooked to read all her work.

I would agree that some of the things on the list are of a nature that we would not be aware of them when they happen. But everything will come to light eventually. The Truth has a way of pushing itself to the surface, doesn't it?

Just ordered Spirit Song and Phoenix rising.
thanks again Juni

....and when the great Phoenix is flying free, look closely at what he carries lovingly in his clenched talons. It will be a new green leaf, not from an olive branch, but from the new fresh growth of the Sacred Tree that will be flourishing straight and strong within the Hoop of Mankind`s new Nation. No-Eyes

Yes I've read all the Mary Summer Rain books too. I think she writes from the heart. Did you read what she said about sons and daughters going off to wars that were not really wars and how the draft was imminent? She said people would flee to other countries rather than risk their children in political greed wars.

I love "EARTHWAY" because of the detailed guide that covers all aspects of our minds, bodies and spirits. How the weather affects us. How the sun, moon and planets influence us both physically and pschologically, as well an informative guide on natural supplements and herbs. I think it's worth a read. The only stuff I'm not too sure about is the dream guide. Only cause different stuff means different things to most folk. I believe dreams are kind of personal to you.

Hi Gia, it`s good to see your lite again I`m happy to see you`re a reader too. Her messages are pure, simple and heart/soul felt.

I love Earthway and my copy is in tatters. I got Beyond Earthway as soon as it was released too.

Have you read The Singing Web? Excellent book.

Thank you for the kind words.

I am in and out if all too briefly these days. I am working hard on my own projects which leave me little time to spend on LL although I love to visit.

Yes I loved reading the books. I have all her books and she does write from the heart. I admire Mary so much for she stood her ground even in great adversity. She always remained true to herself.

I was sorry to read of her divorce from her soul mate Bill. I felt her heartbreak through the pages and I prayed for her. She's a wonderful soul and I'm sure she is loved by all her readers.

Hi again Gia,
Yes, the the human fragility of their divorce shocked and saddened me

His suicide was a horrific look at how vulnerable lite warriors are in the human state.

She gave me the gift of understanding and to practice acceptance. I don`t always but I aspire to the blessed state.

I must admit that his state of confusion was not at all a surprise to me, nor sadly totally unexpected. Do you remember how Mary wrote of his constant preoccupation to the fighting off of negative forces, both in himself and in their lives?

I see an awful lot of light workers led astray by this very attitude. It is hazard to which light workers are particularly vulnerable in their zeal to promote that which is good. They feel the fighting of the bad is necessary to promote the good. We have dicussed that energy flows where constant attention goes, and that what you resist always persists. It becomes all too consuming, most literally!

They should go about their business thinking and doing the positive. It grows when you feed it, and shrinks when you starve it. How very sad. We must never give the dark a greater acknowledgement or presence, however tempting, or good, our intent may be. To do so is like playing with a yo-yo. We go up and down, until that string eventually ends up winding so tightly around us, that we don't know how to release ourselves from it's grip. When we employ our thoughts on that which is positive we need not worry about the rest. We have already taken care of it.

I send him light and to Mary also.

Juni what a pleasure to converse with you. I have read your posts with interest many times. I suspect we've all read more of the same.

I fell upon Mary Summer Rain's books several years ago and have read all of the No-Eyes series and a few of her others. I will be glad to share my observations and feelings about the Phoenix Days if there is an interest. I feel that I found this site today because, "when the student is ready, the teacher appears" (Shirley McLain) I'll explain that quote at a later time.
