MysticM,Thanks! Harpyr, Dublin is where I work! I have plenty of Dublin pictures. Here's a beautiful sunset over Dublin, California: Here are some Dublin houses that prove your point Some more: Here are some east Pleasanton houses in the hills. They're a bit more expensive: IP: Logged |

Harpyr,Dublin's to the north of Pleasanton. To the south is a much more rural seeming community called Sunol. Here's a pic of one of their few shops: Here's some houses there: This one kind of illustrates why it's called the golden state. It's tough to get away from the sunshine subduing the color in California: (taken in Sunol as well) Sunol train station: The Little Brown Church of Sunol

AG....here is Michigan's "golden gate" only we call it the Mighty Mac....It's the Mackinac Bridge which connects our upper and lower penninsulas.... Here are two different views... I don't live in the immediate vicinity, but am a few miles south of it....

Zala...tee hee....I went back and edited that post, before I saw your question.... Now it looks at tho you didn't see it..... Anyway, I'm not exactly sure just how many miles I live south of the bridge, but I'll guesstimate approximately 50 or 60 miles??? ....and yes...it IS a lovely area....have you been there? The bridge is quite impressive...I think seven miles across....

Rainbow: Your grandaughter is beautiful. AG: I want to go to Sunol. The scenery is excellent. It would be a nice place to go and sit on that hill in your picture and take in the landscape. A good way to blow a complete afternoon. ____________________________________________ Scorpio sun, venus, mars, mercury, and uranus Libra moon, pluto, and asc. IP: Logged |

Proxie....Oh this IS dating me But on well.... There once was a country western singer named Tex Ritter....(father of John Ritter) A long time ago, when I was a little girl, I remember him singing a song about a boll weevil...and here is what I remember. Now the boll weevil am a little black bug, From Mexico they say, Came all the way from Texas, Just a lookin' for a place to stay, Justa lookin' for a home, Justa looking for a home.... Goodness gracious! I haven't thought of that song in ages! Now I'm going to have to find the rest of the words...just to satisfy my curiosity. *sigh* IP: Logged |

Great pictures! I am cracking up at the bug monument; is that for real?1scorp: I love Lexington; I really think it is the prettiest area of Ky. You should post some pics of the downtown area and, of course, horses. Swerve: georgous London pictures... now I feel depressed that I don't have the time off or the money to go back this year. The exchange rate is a killer for us..... This is a great thread. IP: Logged |
