nove731......THAT'S what I remember about Nashville....(I have a heart connection to that city) The Ryman Auditorium........ ......and the parthenon (from where else but the Athens of the south) *sigh* Have been to the Ryman, many, many times.. Here is a guy "I walked the line" with there, many moons ago...*wink* (Okay Rainbow...stop the name dropping! But then I am a Capricorn! *sigh) Oooooh this certainly does date me, doesn't it? ....thanx for those pics, btw....they're all great! IP: Logged |

OH! BLOODREDMOON!AMAZING! They are totally beautiful!!! You have that knack for truly "capturing" that moment of special beauty which Creator gave us...as well as knowing how to reproduce for us, those unique "man made" things of beauty as well... ....like my neighbor to the north Al Hymans (whom I've never met, but found his photos online...) He has this special talent too... You guys don't just "take pictures." You capture beauty....that takes talent.... The sunsets are breathtaking....and thanks for giving us "Hunter" as well.... I just got home from a little day trip to Nashville; how cool to see the new pics! btw, I had my first visit to the Goddess and the Moon, and although it is smaller than some of the other "metaphysical" shops, it had a really good vibe. Bloodred, I like the way you have decorated... and Rainbow, you got to meet Johnny Cash, how cool is that? IP: Logged |

mystical dream asks..... quote: Rainbow, you got to meet Johnny Cash, how cool is that?
Mysticaldream.....actually sang with him....
My sister and I used to sing....and appeared weekly on a local TV country music show (many moons ago before cable).... Made a record for Mercury.....had a fan club....and manager....and the pic of Johnny and me was a venue for him...but we were also on the show........ Been to Nashville....many, many times...sang on the Ernest Tubb Record Shop Midnight Jamboree...and some show on WSIX TV(can't remember the name of it)...Breakfast at the Opry, WSM....and interviewed by Ralph Emery DJ who played our record on WSM.... Memories! Memories....Never quite made the "big time" but sure had a lot of fun trying.... below is a link to one of the pages on my website...(if you care to see it) http://arkangel006.homestead.com/OurSingingDays~ie4.html didn't mean to get off topic....but it DOES sorta tie in with the NASHVILLE theme.. Harpyr...........I agreee! she's extremely talented! In fact all the great photographers here are giving me inspiration to go out and buy a camera and start taking pictures...(maybe I can kinda be like a "Grandma Moses" with a camera...) *************** Mysticaldream asks..... quote: Do you still perform?
Gosh no, gal...*sigh* It's been ages since either my sister or I have sung......Probably if we tried to sing today, they'd be calling us the "Rusty Sisters" I do sit down and play at the piano every now and then tho...for my own amusement... .....and the sexiest celebrity I've met???.....that has to be Hal Ketchum....whom one doesn't hear from much, these days...*sigh* *************** Remember the pics of the GRAND HOTEL on Mackinac Island? Mackinac Island is filled with tourists in the summertime, but life goes on there in the winter too, and here is a pic of the GRAND HOTEL in winter... .. .....and another pic of Mackinac Island in winter... ...

I agree that it's awesome, AG........also a refreshing "refuge" or haven...so to speak, huh?......*sigh* (especially right now...) Aren't those planets doing all kinds of wierd things out there? This is off topic again, but I broke my big toe today after a goofy fall.....(and boy is it big and swollen and purple and hurting...OUCH!) ...and Saturn and Mars conjunct in Leo was SQUARING my natal Mars in Scorpio the first house...and natal Uranus in Taurus in the 7th house... ....and just esterday I took a fall and went down on my Capricorn knees...they are scraped......*sigh*.... I think I'll stay in bed all day tomorrow... Thanks for letting me "cry" a little bit... IP: Logged |

Awww...that sucks. My Mars is in Scorpio, too. Late degree, though. Haven't looked at the transits. It is a shame I didn't spend more time taking pictures this weekend. I have a training late this week in San Francisco, so I should be able to get some pics there. The training is to be held near Fisherman's Wharf, too, so that's kind of cool. May take BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) in, so I could get some pics of our version of the subway as well. IP: Logged |

AG.....am looking forward to those Frisco pics...(I'm trying to be real brave as my purple toe throbs with pain...*sigh* cry baby me...) ******* Bloodredmoon....I like the idea of showing us your immediate surroundings.... I'm going to try and post some pics (they are old and small) of places where I used to live... This is part of my living room a long time ago...when I was still married to my ex.... And this is where I lived just prior to where I'm living now...I called it my cottage in the woods, and it was just a bit north of where I am now..... Am going to try and get some pictures of where I'm living now...on the reservation... Gotta get a camera first... IP: Logged |

Amykins....... Sorry you took your pics down....but I understand people can change their minds about something sometimes...I do that.....frequently...*sigh* Moonchild.......I thought you were a Cancer? Isn't AG a Capricorn? ....or am I just confused...(which also happens frequently... ) Oh...and thank you for telling me about the "water lillies..." Aqua.....YES indeed! The world IS a beautiful place to live.....every day I give thanks for all the blessings Creator has given us... IP: Logged |
