Wow, its great to be remembered like that. Thank you! That makes me so happy. I wish I could say that I still hold the same views. I'm a bit horrified at myself, in retrospect, lol. Although I said some interesting and even insightful things, it seems a tad cynical now, and I am happy to be back to my old self; having a lot more faith in approaching relationships with total honesty.

Thank you for the vote of confidence. I always do my best to "call upon it". I guess thats all anybody can do, is just act in accordance with their present level of consciousness, and remeber that we are all works in progress.

HSC,

Can i just say I think it's so refreshing to see a guy who's able to express his thoughts/feelings as easily as you? I think that goes a looong way in a relationship, and I'm sure your Aqua appreciates your honesty there. You remind me of my Pisces; it made him so endearing, and brought us so much closer & made me love him that much more!! We gals wish we didn't have to play guessing games with y'all about that, so it's a wonderful quality. Oh, and about the lips... dang, why IS it that it's the boys who, more often than not, get the pink lips, the long lashes & all that?? Life's So unfair!!

Lovely,
OMG, if you like Olive Garden breadsticks, you'll Loooooove Fazoli's - they've got to be the BEST i've ever had anyplace!! At times, I end up ordering a kiddie meal there, cause I splurge so much on the breadsticks, there's no room for the main course!

Full-fifthhouse-loulou,

Thank you.

You said it.

sue g,

"I now choose to be with the understanding ones."

A potent and beautiful affirmation. I am happy to hear this. I know that things are really begining to flow for me, now that I have learned to be more selective about my associations. That 11th house Neptune, and Pisces South Node did a number on me. Moving into the Virgo NNode, I am learning some much-needed discrimination. I know that Neptune will always operate in that 11th house, and I will have to keep an eye on her, but, what a joy it is to be accessing the more positive side of Neptune, for a change; no longer martyring myself to people who drain me, and encourage my escapist tendencies; instead, discovering how amazing it is to share the company of truly evolved and compassionate friends.

cool pic!

TINK,

You are right.
I need to be careful.

In the meantime,
I take "comfort" in knowing, that...

One cannot reach the dawn except by the path of night. - Kahlil Gibran

The sage awakes to light in the night of all creatures. That which the world calls day is the night of ignorance to the wise. - The Bhagavad-Gita

Where there is suffering there is holy ground. - Oscar Wilde

Have pity on me; for the hand of God hath touched me. - Job

[Despair] is, one is told, the unforgivable sin, but it is a sin the corrupt or evil man never practices. He always has hope. He never reaches the freezing-point of knowing absolute failure. Only the man of goodwill carries always in his heart this capacity for damnation. - Graham Greene

One may smile, and smile, and be a villain. - Shakespeare (Hamlet)

He who makes a beast of himself gets rid of the pain of being a man. - Samuel Johnson

If any man come to me, and hate not his own life, he cannot be my disciple. - Jesus of Nazareth

In the psychopathic temperament we have the emotionality which is the sine qua non of moral perception; we have the intensity and tendency to emphasis which are the essence of practical moral vigor; and we have the love of metaphysics and mysticism which carry one's interests beyond the surface of the sensible world. What, then, is more natural than that this temperament should introduce one to regions of religious truth, to corners of the universe, which your robust Philistine type of nervous system, forever offering its biceps to be felt, thumping its breast, and thanking Heaven that it hasn't a single morbid fibre in its composition, would be sure to hide forever from its self-satisfied possessors?
If there were such a thing as inspiration from a higher realm, it might well be that the neurotic temperament would furnish the chief condition of the requisite receptivity. - William James

Yes, I have an ulcer! Of course, I have an ulcer! This is Kali Yuga, buddy. The Iron Age. Anybody without an ulcer by the age of sixteen is a g0ddamn spy! - Zooey Glass (J.D. Salinger)

Desperation is sometimes as powerful an inspirer as genius. - Benjamin Disraeli

I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity. - Edgar Allen Poe

Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you mad. - Aldous Huxley

Much madness is divinest sense, to a discerning eye; much sense, the starkest madness. 'Tis the majority in this, as in all, prevails - assent and you are sane; demur, you're straightway dangerous and handled with a chain. - Emily Dickenson

Some amount of suffering is always necessary. A ship without ballast cannot go straight. - Arthur Schopenhauer

A man should not strive to eliminate his complexes, but to get into accord with them; they are legitimately what directs his conduct in the world. - Sigmund Freud

Sorrow is better than laughter, for by the sadness of the face the heart is made better. - The Holy Bible

See my response to sue, on my thoughts about Neptune. I agree, there is perhaps the most profound wisdom of all in what you say about embracing all of ourselves. This is the hardest thing to do, and the easiest to forget. Thank you for the timely reminder. I will have faith.

And thank you for having faith in me. Yes, I do tend to create chaos for the strangest, most unconsious reasons, and to be oddly uncomfortable when times are good. And it is lovely of you to indicate to me the truth, that what beauty I see in the world, and in others, is also, and perhaps most directly, to be found inside myself. I am reading Thomas Moore's wonderful book, "Care of the Soul" (I bet you would really like it, as much of his teaching reminds me of things you have said), and there is a marvelous chapter about the myth of Narcissus which I responded to on a very deep level. It is all in me. Thank you.

Mama Mia,

Thanks for understanding. I would keep an eye on that Aqua, if I were you. You suggest that he could blow if that cap were not there, but, I think, it is precisely that cap which is creating so much undue pressure. I would encourage him to vent some of that steam, from time to time, or, in time, that lid really will blow. My best friend (whom I may very soon be referring to as my former best friend) is an Aquarius with Scorpio Rising (and moon in taurus), and he is presently deep in the throws of a serious heroin addiction (which has only eased up a little due to his growing taste for shooting coke). It breaks my heart to close my door to him, and it is the hardest thing I have ever had to do. So, yeah, be careful.

juniperb,

Thank you.
Luckily, it is not necessary to understand jealousy,
or, to experience it oneself,
in order not to reject the testimony of those
who have returned to tell the tale.
One needs only to have an open heart and mind,
not to judge that of which one is admittedly ignorant.
I will do my best to rise above it.
It always helps to have the support
of those who understand, or, at least,
receive the confessions of an ardent heart.

God Bless.

yummmmmmmm...........

Yeah, lol, I was the one feeling jealous and misunderstood.

"I didn't get that.
I thought others were jealous or critical of you,
not the other way 'round."

I know how you feel.
I dont get it myself.
That is really how it ought to be.

Someone wiser than I once said "We create our problems, because we need their gifts."

What lovely gifts you've received here.

As a Scorpio, your troubles probably run deeper, or along a different path, than you've shown us here. I wish you love and happiness and prosperity.

"Can i just say I think it's so refreshing to see a guy who's able to express his thoughts/feelings as easily as you?"

Yes, you most certainly can!
Thank you.
I've gotten enough cr-p for expressing my feelings, and its so refreshing to be praised on account of that. I grew up in a very repressive, waspy environment, where people cowered and threatened to have me committed, almost every time I showed my passionate enthusiasm for something. I have had people telling me I was sick for so long, I didnt realize how incredibly unsick I was. Now that I've found people who arent afraid of my passion, and who love me for it, and want to protect and defend me against anyone who would try to make me feel sick, I am just so overwhelmed with gratitude and appreciation. I've always been so intensely affectionate, especially as a child. It broke my heart when, around the age of eleven or twelve, my parents began to discourage me from showing "too much" affection, and hugging them, especially in public. I really withdrew into myself for a while (but couldnt really be held back for long). Thank you for your kind words.

"I think that goes a looong way in a relationship, and I'm sure your Aqua appreciates your honesty there."

Yeah. She really does.

"You remind me of my Pisces; it made him so endearing, and brought us so much closer & made me love him that much more!! We gals wish we didn't have to play guessing games with y'all about that, so it's a wonderful quality."

Thank you. In the past, I had been with girls who were really turned off by it, and wanted me to be more aloof, and I really started to feel pretty emasculated for a while. I've begun to see that, in many ways, it was on account of their own hang-ups and repressed feelings, but also, just, that they were not the right ones for me; and that's... okay. This girl I'm with now can't get enough of me. It is so gratifying, on the deepest levels. Thank you for what you have said. Your Pisces is a lucky fella.

"Oh, and about the lips... dang, why IS it that it's the boys who, more often than not, get the pink lips, the long lashes & all that?? Life's So unfair!!"

LOL, thanks. Yeah, I got some killer lashes over here, too.

Well, if it isnt my favorite Aries.

Gifts indeed.
Look at all these beautiful people,
stopping in to lend moral support
to little ole' me!
I am the luckiest scorp in the world.

Yeah, I won't deny, I've got some doozies,
one of the least of which is my jealous nature.
I think I'm Jesus, for one thing.
Well, not really.
..... kind of.

Thank you You have aqua in your chart, right? Either way, your Aqua girl is lucky to have you. For some reason, I'm convinced that my boyfriend has an aqua rising. Don't know why, maybe because the first time I met him he struck me as uranian. I think Scorpio/aqua mix is very intersting. But I'm rumbling, so let me stop.

Thank you, that's sweet.

I agree, the Scorp/Aqua mix can be pretty amazing.

There's a link to my chart in my signature.

I have Sun, Venus, and MC conjunct Uranus,
an Aquarius Moon, and Aquarius intercepted
in the 1st, which is like an Aqua Ascendent.
I'm very Aquarian.

take care,

Aqua takes up about 2/3 of my first house...I sure that means something. I could always Identify with the melancholy of Capricorn and Saturn, feeling older before my time as a child, but never the "status" thing. The climbing to the top by any means,(even dating "rich") I never been motivated do that. How about you?

all must be in balance with God and the Universe's..

Hey Mystic,

Yeah, I'm not too good at shifting down.
Thank you. I know, I am loved, and lucky...
and feeling much better.
But I'm such a glutton for attention sometimes.
Glad you liked the pic.
Wish I could take credit for the breadsticks.
(or the pic, now that you mention it)

love to you,

I can relate to the status seeking of Capricorn,
but, the status I seek is spiritual, not material.
Allegedly, all the world saviors have been born in Capricorn.
I definitely covet this prestige.
My Sun Conjunct the Midheaven
is also a very Capricornian placement.

HSC,

I've gotten enough cr-p for expressing my feelings, and its so refreshing to be praised on account of that. I grew up in a very repressive, waspy environment, where people cowered and threatened to have me committed, almost every time I showed my passionate enthusiasm for something. I have had people telling me I was sick for so long, I didnt realize how incredibly unsick I was.

Wow, that is exactly the way I feel that kids should NOT be handled... so many people do that "boys should be boys" brainwashing, and the poor child starts suppressing his naturally exuberant, affectionate nature & grows up confused, which is a real shame! It is a very good thing you didn't do that, HSC! I'm sorry you had people telling you you were sick, since it couldn't be further from the truth; they were probably raised to suppress theirs & didn't know how to deal with it!! For my (Piscean) dad being as conservative as he is, it really touches me when I've seen him shed a tear on occasion (one time, it was when he saw my maternal aunt for the first time after her stroke, dragging her foot painfully slowly) - it is so endearing to see a man whose heart is melted by suffering and has not been hardened by life. The Pisces guy I love is also not afraid to emote; his mother fostered sensitivity in him, and I'm so grateful to her for that... IMO, this quality only makes one a "manlier" man!
This is the kind of man (and i love, Love, LOVE this description of Pisces men from Linda's Sun Signs), who can "hold a tiny bird in his hand without crushing it".

This girl I'm with now can't get enough of me. It is so gratifying, on the deepest levels. Thank you for what you have said. Your Pisces is a lucky fella.

Good for you (and good for her too)!! You totally deserve to have someone who gets you, and appreciates you, especially after all you've been through!! Isn't it a wonderful feeling? I can't wait to be with my Pisces again; unfortunately, we've had certain outside circumstances interfere with our relationship (part of my Saturn Return lessons, and a tough teacher he is!!), but I have faith we will be reunited again someday soon!! I know he still loves me, and that keeps me going, despite all the c**p I've been going through these past 2 years. Sigh... just can't wait...

Yeah, I got some killer lashes over here, too.

Ooooh!!! Let's see you bat them, LOL! My Pisces used to say I had an unfair advantage over him when I batted mine; I always got my way!! (Don't forget to flutter them at your Aqua on occasion!!)

HSC: I know you and I don't really communicate much... but I do enjoy reading your thoughts.

You'll say (or rather type) something... and I'll stop and think "Wow. He understands".

I've never really been great with expressing myself, so to have someone recognize and say things in a way that I never could... is really nice.

Beatuful. I've been wanting to post something similar to this. Lately, I've really felt a sense of community here at LL, which I could never fully appreciate before. I think it is so beautiful, all the positive energy and thoughts we get to share here. I've had some conversations with people about the nature of the internet, specifically, the nature of relationships formed through the internet. There are, to be sure, things that are sorely lacking, and there is an ambiguity that not everyone is comfortable with, but, in many ways, it is possible to get to know people, and sides of people, which we would otherwise have no opportunity to get to know. Some people use this technology to conceal themselves behind distorted impressions, but, I think, most people take advantage of this as an opportunity to be even more open and to show more of themselves than they would be comfortable showing someone "in person". There is so much that is beautiful here.

And you are so right. I, for one, definitely need to be more careful with my thoughts and words, and not express so many fears and negative impressions about myself. I do that, sometimes because I feel like I should confess these things, and sometimes only because I am afraid someone else might be thinking them, and I want to let them know that I am aware of them, and already hard enough on myself, so they wont be too hard on me. But, it just perpetuates this cycle of self-deprecation. I'm changing it. Starting... NOW.

thank you,
blessings,
wonders,
hsc
