Hello Heart--Shaped Cross,
I think it does seem possible for people to have "open relationships", there was a documentary where this porn star and her husband agreed that she could have sex with other men even outside of her movies but she had to tape it so that he could watch it and if she didn't he would feel a bit betrayed - I thought that last bit was interesting. I found the whole affair rather distasteful but they seemed happy and natural and it really seemed as though the husband was allowing his wife to be who she was without judging her, and that was nice. I can get my mind around it.
What about disease? That has an energy. I don't even see the point in getting married if you are going to be doing all of that. I could better relate to bringing people in for both partners to engage with rather than one going off on their own.
I am not claiming to be an expert on energies, myself. But I know there are energies associated with these things and potentially very powerful ones. Can you explore it if you are out and about, cavorting? Spreading yourself so thin.
But in the end I suppose it really is to each "his" own. You can't tell people how to live though, all you can do is make sure that you have electric fences in place if they overstep their boundaries.

P.S. The comments about one's mate being personal property was not meant in a lack of freedom or controlling way, I meant it in a "That is mine, keep your hands-off my s**t" way. Not to be coarse.

silverbells,

Thank you for your thoughtful response.
I'm still not sure,
but you have given me a lot to think about.

God bless,
HSC
