OOOooooh!!! I would love it there!!! All that wildlife!!! They all sound so gorgeous! I wish so much that I lived in the country.............I live in a suburb with about 57,000 population of people. My town is pretty quiet, our neighborhood. We put out bird seed and many birds come to our backyard - Scrub Jays, to Mourning Doves, to Finches, Sparrows, Robins and Crows. We have Deer once in awhile, there's a mother and baby who have been coming this year.
Earlier in the year the Mom had dropped off the baby when she was but a couple days old, and left her all day in our court. So I moved her down into the shade to a quieter area away from the busy street. She "baaaa" 'd like a little lamb.

Nephthys,

wow! the babies are so precious, i hate hunting season, I have a real hard time with hunters, and there's alot in my family

Ah, birds are wonderful, my girls and I are very lucky, we can hand feed the birds and animals here, they seem to know, we mean them no harm, and of course, we project Love and Kindness, and it really really works

I love animals

Cool ~ I love handfeeding the animals ~ if they'll let me! I volunteer at Wildcare and I love it! I am on hiatus right now from volunteering because I'm studying to be a Wildlife/Animal Biologist.

I h*te and despise hunters! I am vegetarian for compassionate reasons ~ how could anyone consciously feel good about killing a living, sentient being, that lives by the laws of nature, and created by God?

If you don't want to read this, at least read paragraph 9.

Wow., very interseting, I do think this story has been exaggerated over the years, for only 100 have been infected, in how many years, and how many people are there really???
So, you see, the thing is in The U.S.A. everything gets blown out of proporation, and Americans walk around with fear, we're trained to be worried about everything, just look at the TV

some countries, live a much more relaxed life style, like Canada, hehe
we don't lock our doors, everybody knowa everybody, it's hard to explain, but it is much different
If it gets bad Mother abd Father God, will let me know,

on the other hand, I hate all the pesticides that are sprayed all over our vegetables, yes orgainic, can you believe that?
and the all the chemicals they are using to make them better and bigger, mutations

I think we can find problems, wherever we are willing to find them
best scenerio, grow your own, become self sufficient, can for the winter, it's the only guarantee, that you'll know what you are really eating

sorry for ranting

What I wanted to point out in the article is that it says that it has been established that you can catch the avian flu by eating chicken flesh.

The other point of the article is that the avian flu virus can conjugate with human flu virus, and a new virus can result. This is the pandemic that they are warning against.

Apparantly in Turkey, they have begun to see many cases of flu viruses possibly related to the avian flu.

I thought they had burned all the chickens, to end the epidemic???

I'm worried they will make everyone take a vaccine, I refuse to take them, just a bad feeling, we should be able to combat anything that comes our way
We don't get flu shots either
I feel they would weaken our immune system
the strains change

it's a bit scary to think about
I put my faith in Mother and Father
for all of this

thanks for sharing with me

Randall, I have 2 e-mail addresses for you. I never know which one to use.

1 email that I sent you, I told you that I got an "A" on my last essay, the one "M is for Mercy".

I just turned in a new essay on Monday about the "Healthy Forests Inititative".

The 2nd e-mail was to tell you and show you some spam that I got from my linda-goodman.com e-mail address. Someone had used the nephthys@linda-goodman.com and sent me spam, but made it look like it was being sent to someone else from someone else.

Oh, I should mention this has happened twice.

I got all those. SPAMbots spoof e-mails. Nothing to worry about.

Summer has not fully left us here. Though the leaves are beautiful. Golden, orange, yellows and reds.

Yesterday: Was like a nice spring day.
Today: Cold, rainy
Tomorrow's forecast: 66 degrees!!!

What's going on? It's November! And for the most part we've been having really pleasant days. Cold nights, but nice days.

Hey, fine by me.

We are having a most Gorgeous November. It has been almost 80 degrees during the daytime. Although nights are cool, it feels like summer when you get up in the a.m. because it is approaching 70 degrees and stays in the upper 70's all day. The skies are so scrumptiously beautiful, blue, with a few Simpson's -like clouds or contrails, I just can't emphasize how gorgeous it is!

You two are lucky. It's freezing here. We got our first snow of the season yesterday. About 3-4 inches.

It's freezing here now, today it is raining and we expect rain all week. Wore my wool sweater and warm Canadian horse winter coat and I was still cold.
I've been sick now for 3 weeks, couldn't enjoy the gorgeous weather anyways, and now it's beginning to look a lot like winter!

...well summer has arrived again.

It was in the 50's I think, today. It was like spring. All the snow from the other day has now melted.

Nephthys, Hope you are feeling better.
