They can jump with style. Not quite flying, but their wings help with lift.We actually had a tragedy the other night - some raccoons figured out the barrel locks at their egg doors, got in, and killed (tore limb from limb) 5 out of our 8, including all of the little ones. Those doors now have key locks. ------------------ If I've included this sig, it's because I'm posting from a mobile device. Please excuse all outrageous typos and confusing auto-corrects. Dang We lost 2 so far this winter. It is such a bitter cold and deep snow the starving possums were able to climb and reach where never before. ------------------ Christian, Jew, Muslim, Shaman, Zoroastrian, stone, ground, mountain, river, each has a secret way of being with the Mystery, unique and not to be judged. After we lost three cats, we finally saw the fox one day, and figured out what the problem was.Now we put them up in the boathouse every night. They have to eat; too, I suppose. It was certainly heart-breaking to lose them all though. Blue Oyster Cat was an old guy, and not as coherent as he used to be. Man, I loved those cats. IP: Logged |
