quote: Now Neptune dissolves things, causes confusion, illusions and rose tinted glasses especially if in hard aspect to Angles or planets. It can be a spiritual, artistic awakening, but there are not many people who can advance or benefit their lives (unless there is natal potential of course) with Neptune. But having said this if you are 'supposed' to be Learning a Lesson in this life and Neptune draws a veil across your mind so you don't see things clearly enough to be objective--- then this pawn in chess has done it's job
Saggi said this. ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

quote: You know Saggi, I just got something on Neptune.I have neptune in the 1st House. It trines Sun and mercury in the 9th. I have felt that I had to struggle not to lose my mind.I know that sounds terrible but I was always afraid I would dissolve. I have an earth void too.I have had to force myself to put invisible roots in to the ground. I have moon trine Saturn but it is 9 degrees so may not count or be weak. However, I think it is the feeling of Neptune dissolving. I can only imagine how hard the Neptune square mercury may be.
I said this. Please try to tell me how Neptune feels to you from the inside. Any info is welcome but that is my main thrust in doing this thread. Thanks!

I don't get this: quote: It can be a spiritual, artistic awakening, but there are not many people who can advance or benefit their lives (unless there is natal potential of course) with Neptune.
Why not? I have Venus almost conjunct Neptune (6 degrees apart) and I've had to change from a person who puts everyone up on a pedestal to someone who is more sensible and discerning. Astrology helps me discern. IP: Logged |

Basic astrology forum discussing Neptune in houses http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum12/private-jjLYZw161/HTML/000661.html NEPTUNE DEFINITION KEYWORDS; Artistic, emotional, sensitive, mediumistic, wandering, ¬sentimental, subtle, deceptive, subversive, imaginative, rhythmic, spirituality, unstable, sacrifice, head in the clouds. Rules Drugs of all types , alcohol, tobacco, heroin, ether & anaesthetic, Gas lighting. Anything elusive, water has to be put in pipes. Wherever your Neptune is, "is where you carry your cross and where you will be called upon to make a sacrifice!" True sacrifices are never usually recognised, or else they could turn into martyrdom!
Ascendant sun and mc in pisces or neptune in the 1st house rules pituitary gland, feet, and sleeping rhythms. bad aspects may cause sleep disorders, such as insomnia.

Also Saggi, Faiths Saturn may come in to play as a grounding factor. Maybe she has Moon trine Saturn so can ground herself. ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Ami ann was discussing generics for neptune not aspects in particular, BUT I notice you have mars/neptune square Mars square Neptune Mars Neptune Square Mars Neptune Opposition Painful things either ignored ie self deception, or hypochondriac type, imaginary things (Neptune) Deceive or be deceived http://www.astrologyindepth.com/Mars_square_Neptune http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13104&page=2 http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11521 http://astrology.astrozoom.com/index.php?title=NEPTUNE_PARALLEL% 2C_CONJUNCTION%2C_SQUARE_OR_OPPOSITION_TO_MARS Could dissolve? why not replace with *make sacrifices* or not see things clearly even...
lastly, I notice neptune sextiles saturn, giving it grounding and dose of reality. Really we need to take into account the whole chart... but simply generics and what neptune means and stands for is the starting point.

I have Neptune conjunct Mars in 12th house, ASC and NN, and it squares chartruler Jupiter in Pisces. ASC is on the exact midpoint of Mars/Neptune, so I think I qualify as "Neptunian", and yet I am not sure how to answer the question. What do you mean with "dissolve"?What I noticed is that I am hypersensitive towards environmental influences (noise, lights etc.) and also towards "emotional vibes" from others. Sometimes it is not easy to decern if I feel another person`s feeling or if it is my own. I have found that listening and observing my physical reactions to something is a good guideline for being certain that it really is MY feeling and not someone else`s or what I REALLY feel as opposed to what I think I feel, or should feel or fantasize about. Yes, it is. Some astrologers would count Mars into the 1st house. It is only 2 degrees off my ASC and in the same sign as the ASC. I am not totally sure though. the combo Mars/Neptune is emphasized multiple times, so how am I to say if it is really Mars in 12th house or Neptune conjunct ASC or Mars conjunct Neptune or ASC conjunct Mars/Neptune-mp that I relate to?IP: Logged |

To me, it would not be a 12th House Mars but that is one man's opinion. Do you relate to Mars in the 12th.I think there would be a dramatic difference between a Mars conj the ASC and a 12th House Mars.------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I somewhat relate to the 12th house Mars, yes, but it certainly not as hidden and inaccessible as a "true" 12th house Mars would be. a True 12th house Mars would be one, which has no conjunction to ASC AND which is in a different sign than the ASC. (of course only my opinion)But as I said, maybe it is not the Mars in 12th-phenomenon I relate to, but Mars conjunct Neptune. IP: Logged |

Yes as the hallmark of a true 12th House Mars would be passive expression of drives vs active. Any drives are very hard for them such as anger for example.Mars conj Neptune may be more of a dreamy way one goes about one's drive. One may be slow about it or hard to get moving, kind of lost in fantasy not reality. What do you think Ceri? ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. My impression of you, Ceri is that you cab express anger directly. You can stand up for yourself very directly. That is not what *I* think of a Mars in the 12th House.------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/
