izodesmozina unregistered	posted May 17, 2007 12:09 PM I am very puzzled about the energy these 2 planets have in synastry. I have a very hard time believing that a Venus-Pluto conjunction is an indication for soul mates. Yes, I understand why it is considered so, but in my experience, it was far from soul mate material. I've had the conjunction with 2 men. Not only did we not become an item, but I didn't even like them! There was no romance involved, none whatsoever! Soul mates? Definitely NOT! I should also point out that in all the Venus-Pluto aspects, I was always the Pluto (whether it was the conjunctions, squares, trines etc). The squares were the most passionate, I've had the opposition with a major crush of mine (my first, actually ), but the feelings were not mutual (and I was the Pluto!!). I've had the sextile with my ex and was very pleased by that energy and I have a trine with the guy I'm currently interested in - nice energy there, too hihi. I'd like to know your personal opinions on this and, more important, your EXPERIENCE with these aspects (esp the conjunction). edited I also had a parallel aspect with a guy who was sort of my superior - and there have been times when I couldn't stand him! There were others when he was a pleasant presence, but, boy, did he get on my nerves! No relationship with him, either; no crush, no nothing... What's going on? Having that Venus/Pluto connection and nothing else really solid does not always mean that you will hook up and love that person definetly..Bc there are people that do not have the Venus/Pluto connection but a good synastry that they feel and know they are soul mates..Personally that Venus/Pluto connection goes well when you have some sun/moon connection Moon Venus/Mars connection and yes some Saturn in there too.. Didn't think so... Ok, I agree with you guys and it is true: me and those guys didn't have what it took to form a relationship (synastrically speaking). And the guy I like feels a lot like the one, even though there's no Venus-Pluto conjunction, but there is one trine. lioneye68 unregistered	posted May 17, 2007 02:19 PM Me & my sweetie have the conjunction in our composite, along with Mars & Uranus, all the 12th, thank goodness - it's not as in your face as it might be - But, yeah. The intesity of that mix is a bit daunting at times, but we have to confront it whether we like it or not. It's not always about bedroom sports, either. Sometimes it's just plain old power struggles, and one person trying to assert their selfish objectives over the other, at the expense of the other's objectives. Hence, power struggle, especially when neither is willing to see beyond what works FOR THEM. But this is the destuctive nature of Pluto aspects - it helps to be aware of it. IP: Logged

I don't notice anything to tell you the truth. I am usually an intense person and so are the partner's I usually choose. Me and my current BF have it also. He has it in his natal as well. IP: Logged

I know it must have seemed fated, but there are some other aspects that can give you that feeling. I also agree that it is intense... it's Pluto... Basically it makes me want to serve him in a dish like chocolate ice cream and eat him, yes basically subsist on ice cream... Not sure how it make him feel...he gives me this plaintive puppy dog look sometimes. That's the Venus killer--but then again that might just be his Pisces Sun... LOL IP: Logged

We do have a lot going on between us.There+s a great attraction and powerful fellings torwards the other. But we also have some power struggles sometimes:there are moments that the other pulls onto his way of thought and being and the other just rebels :P we have it on both sides so we balance it out hihih We also have his pluto paralell my venus and in composite venus makes an angle with Pluto also. Have you lloked to Juno? I think that works perfectly well on the atraction and commitment also.We have juno(venus trine and juno/pluto sextile,as well juno paralell pluto. If you didnt had the connection with the others,and you have with these Love... well, i know you 2 have very powerfull interaspects and you also know it That�s why it works this time IP: Logged

I'm a Virgo Sun 1' Merc. 1' and Venus 8' So anybody about 5 to 6 years older than I will conjunct my Venus... and My Sun and Merc., too but wider.. I was the Venus. My experience is that it is Pluto who holds the power and Venus tends to get obsessive...Not that Pluto doesn't feel it, too..but moreso the Venus person.. i was blown away.. its gotta be within a degree to be potent... My Sun Merc and Venus also conjunct his Uranus... So it was very unstable.. fun but ubstable.. I don't think i will ever "really" get over him. And i feel that it is probably mutual... What killed it was the rawness of my Moon square his Saturn and My Uranus square his Moon.... I felt a connection to him on a soul level but soul-mate? I dunno? tara19 unregistered	posted May 17, 2007 05:03 PM I have the double whammy with a guy, his Venus is 1 degree away from a square from my Pluto, my Venus is exactly quintile his Pluto and also parallel his Pluto, his Juno, his Uranus and his vertex. It's over now (the sort-of-relationship) and all I can say is it was very intense and even though we couldn't do anything (not the right circumstances etc) about it, he had a hard time keeping his hands off of me and would always find some way to touch me or hug me. I don't know about soulmates (we had other doozy aspects too), but the attraction was extremely strong and so very sexual that it kinda scared the hell out of me. I don't think I've ever been so attracted to a man and seen it returned with the very same intensity. But that doesn't mean we were soulmates, I mean, it's over, pretty much. so... <shrugs> Tara x IP: Logged

I personally would consider a parallel stronger than a semisextile (not that I am against minor aspects, because I'm not; and I do check for them, but I don't grant them much importance). I just have a hard time understanding how I could have met 3 people with this aspect, which is said to be one of the strongest indicators for soul mates and... not feel it. With one of the guys, I had some pretty strong aspects, I'll try to post the synastry tomorrow, or at least the main aspects (it was Sun-Moon trine double-whammy, as I can remember, and the Suns were trine, as well). And I think we had a good Venus-Mars something, too... But we were enemies. Yes, it can happen... even with a Venus-Pluto conjunction and Sun-Moon double whammy... I don't know what makes two people soul mates, but I know this wasn't enough... IP: Logged

SagSun unregistered	posted May 18, 2007 03:59 AM My current love interest and I have a Venus/Pluto double whammy ... My Venus conjuncts his Pluto and his Venus squares my Pluto. I definitely feel like he is my soulmate. The connection feels very fated. On the plus side, the attraction between us is INTENSE, to say the least (though I should add that we also have other aspects that add to that attraction ... like Venus trine Mars, Sun square Mars, Sun sextile Venus, Venus sextile Uranus etc.). The drawback is, though, that the relationship also has a somewhat obsessive quality to it. At times it is emotionally draining and almost too much to take. But to quote a pop song ... I can't live with or without him. Generally, I feel that a single Venus/Pluto contact doesn't make for a soulmate connection. I mean, considering the time Pluto takes to travel through a sign, we would feel a soulmate connection to everyone born in a certain year. That's simply ridiculuos. Venus/Pluto double whammies on the other hand can be indicators of soulmate connections, if there are also other aspects that indicate an emotional and physical connection. IP: Logged

Look, me and my bf also ha good Ceres aspects and eros - look at yours also. And as for the others - we have moon/uranus quindecile; moon/neptune quicunkx; venus/neptune DW, venus/uranus square,conjuncted neptunes and conjuncted uranus, conjuncted plutos as well. I think that all these contacts also made you feel as a fated connection that�s why you�re so attatched to him IP: Logged
jessii!! unregistered	posted May 18, 2007 07:36 AM well i have a venus/ pluto conjucntion with one guy & i have known hims for about 6 years & nothing has happened between us yet.. we are still young & i truly with all my heart believe we will end up 2gethr... & we both feel the connection so strongly... and even before i found out we had the V/P conjunction i always used to think about him non stop & how i felt i knew him in a past life.. but now that i know that it makes so much sense to me And there has been another guy & our Venus & pluto are trine... but i also cant get him out of my head & i feel that we have a really strong karmic bond.. very sporadic though, also not as strong as the 1st guy .. with whom i still to this day think about constantly IP: Logged

Also there is a yod (I think it is a yod) with her pluto & venus and his venus. Venuses sextile exact & quincunx pluto by 4. Is there any significance to that? DT IP: Logged
