Is it true that a Venus-Neptune aspect in the chart indicates that the person has some sort of aversion to marriage and will avoid getting hitched officially for as long as possible? (Take note I'm not saying the person is against relationships or partnerships). Do you think they are saying "haven't found the right one" to justify their commitment phobia? Do you know anyone with Venus-Neptune aspect?IP: Logged |

Interesting. I have Venus trine Neptune and I am extremely picky about who I marry. I don't expect to marry a perfect man by any means, but I do have certain standards that a husband must meet just as I expect that there are certain standards that I must meet if a man chooses to marry me. I do have commitment phobia in the sense that I don't want to invest all of my energy into a relationship if I feel the guy is not worth it. It would be a waste of my time and his. IP: Logged |

Yes. I had friend with the Square. He was due to get married in his late thirties, to someone who sounded quite unsavoury. I never met her though, I moved away and lost touch. Very attractive man, but deeply insecure and with dire taste in women. No clue, hopelessly romantic. Claimed to be in love with a stripper he met down a club. You need to drink less, do less drugs, wise up a bit, said I and my Taurus stellium. But that way you don't get to be as tragic. IP: Logged |

No, its not true. Thats bad, where did you get it from? No, its more an indication of unconditional love, obviously when linked to the 7th. Yes, I know me.Any more questions? IP: Logged |

I have Venus Trine Neptune, perhaps it's that Venus is Depressed in Virgo, but I get very used and settled into relationships and that generally doesn't play out very well for me. "Fairy Tales" and whatnot I suppose, and it would probably explain why I'm nineteen and engaged. :-S Freakin' Neptune Trine overpowering my Fallen Venus. *grumble grumble grumble* IP: Logged |

I have Venus sextile Neptune. I thought I was just being picky. Ugh! Makes sense. I would just like to live together and be partners in everything. What's funny is my object of desire has Venus square Neptune. In synastry we have it two-ways: the sextile and the square. And in composite we have the quintile. Hah! Very nice. Ugh.

That's just one person I know. One aspect on his chart. And he is a lovely person, would do anything for anyone, great with kids. Yes, I let him near my kids. They like him, they think he's great. IP: Logged |

uhm....he told me he would be asking me to be his wife soon and it was going to be a surprise when. ...and if I was going to be saying no, could I please give an indication soon so he doesn't humiliate himself? I know it sounds kinda wierd, but it made me have butterflies ...bigtime! that is a huge step. I saw his birth certificate and I was off on his natal scope! URGH> 12/6/62 not the 5th! 10:35am. cap rising! so yes he isp lanning on asking, no i am not formally engaged. and yes, I know I am a nerd for getting his birth stuff wrong. and wow, I think it is a huge step and not to be taken lightly. (you knew I was a nerd anyway)!IP: Logged |

BM, must have something to do with putting someone on a pedestal and the rose-colored glasses blah blah then getting disappointed later on. There is your unconditional love, Kick It. IP: Logged |

i have the trine and he has the square.i am a very idealistic person and yes i am very picky on love - thatīs why maybe i only felt in love once. i feel identified with this description: "Venus in Conjunction, Trine, Sextile to Neptune You only want to see the best in other people. Romances have a kind of dreamy, idealistic undercurrent that runs through them. Your soul is seeking a spiritual mate and it's highly possible that you'll meet one or more "kindred souls." This aspect can bring reunions with those you have known in former lifetimes." and this is very true for my bf also about his square: "It's difficult for you not to overly idealize those you care deeply about and if hard reality ever hits, it can be the rudest of awakenings. This can make you willing to sacrifice your own best interests in the name of preserving a relationship."
