She never called in the end. Seems people around me have been wanting to tell me she wasn't good enough for me for years and have now only begun to speak up! A female Gemini friend basically explained what she was probably thinking and laid the whole non-relationship out. She too seems convinced she will call at some point, but says she has too many issues and not enough maturity to be of any real use to me at the moment.

Seems I filled in a lot of blanks or unsightly character blemishes with that wonderful Piscean imagination ( I know you know what I'm talking bout here Fishes) and turned a pauper into a Princess.

Still.....she may get lucky one day...

I'll candidly say that your thread here inspired me to register, for coming across it as I was rummaging through the net couldn't have been timelier to me.

As I was reading, how deeply I empathized the emotions......the angst of the inbetween moments, the ahsamement of letting your heart fly away from you. The mourning of what was.....and what was never allowed to be.
The anger of feeling taken for granted.....the deep sorrow.

With no outlet for such Love felt within you.......oh, I understand the frustration and longing that that breeds. To connect....heart to heart, soul to soul. ( Heart&Soul )
To experience all of the poetry that you feel in your soul that exalts Love to the heights it could and should be.

Keep your vision dear.

And be true to yourself.

Why these things happen to us, I don't know.
Still trying to figure out why......when I had been going along just fine. Why did the universe have to show me the promise of love, only to take it away?

There is no feeling on earth that's more shattering.

But why would we believe in such a magical Love.....why would it inspire our beings so....if it were entirely unnattainable in this world?

hmmmmm......

anyway.....know you're not alone and there are others who keep believing in the world with an innocent heart just as you do.
It's a rare and beautiful way to be.
To be vulnerable is to be real, I believe.
Your romantic and sensitive heart is beautiful just the way it is. Don't let life's experience ever take that from you.

I'm going to post a question and of course you need not answer. Maybe just something to think about.

If this Gemini lady wasn't so elusive....was direct and honest and open about her feelings.....

the same lady, wit and love for life and all....were to tell you that she loved you as well....poured her heart to you in sentiment and stayed on....pouring more and more forever still,

would you still love her? Would you be as magnetized to her? Our could her elusiveness and mystery be the fuel for your desire?

I just wonder. It seems as if in this world we wander, being pulled into laws of polarity ~ negative to positive....pulling apart, coming together again. Scattering off again to the next opposite.
Negative and positive keep retracting from each other and seeking out other polarities to unite with.

Why are more not attracted to honesty and pure sentiment?
Is it the union we really seek?
Or is it the movement?

Just some wonders.

I do the same thing with imagination Swerve, once I knew a wonderful Aries who had an ex wife, and I filled in so many blanks about her that my imaginary woman was ten times more competition than she really was. In fact to this day I can paint her face exactly as I imagined it, blond bob, colourful clothing, two children, long legs, tan face, and she never existed.

The Aries kept trying to figure out where this image was coming from but I couldn't explain except to get angry at him when he would talk to her. He was so frustrated and confused.

The imaginary woman had won, and there wasn't anything he could do to change my mind. Wanting what others want, especially when you are stubborn, and what you want doesn't even EXIST, is really tough. Seems like your dreams are not unconcious, you dream/imagine during the day.

Dreams are as important as reality but they do come from other people, that's what you have to remember, we are influenced by Everyone.

You are lucky to be done with the Gemini, as I am Waiting to be done with a Gemini myself, but...

Make sure you do not find someone soon, who magically has all the assets she did not have, it's so easy to fill in the blanks, project on to someone new who is willing. If you hang out with air signs, they will let you do that, let you feel love. Now is a good time to be patient.

Heart & Soul - I know what you are saying. But, in this case, no, I would love her more for it and be determined to value her feelings and make her happy. I just love her.

Sthenri - I am close to letting go, I wouldn't say I was there just yet. I followed your advice and haven't made any contact other than an impersonal text message about a week ago highlighting a particular magazine to look at regarding a subject we are both interested in. There has been no reply. No big surprise.

Karen - Thank you for those words.

I hope all of you are happy at the moment.

On Saturday I was walking with some friends to a favourite pub of ours and was drawn to a bench in a beer garden of a place over the road. I got this strangely familiar feeling as I just stared and stared. I almost knew who I was going to see next before the other people (all men) moved out of the way. It was her. I caught her eye for no more than half a second before my friend told me to catch up. I thought I saw her smile, but I couldn't be sure. For the rest of the day I was the most intensely moody git any of my friends had seen. This time it was more anger than sadness, and I wasn't sure why. My reaction was totally out of proportion, and now I think it is me that has the problem and needs to do some serious thinking.

I don't want to burden those around me with my negative energy and that seems to be all I am capable of producing. Perhaps this is the root of all my problems.

I hope she is happy, she looked it.
