Aquarians have deeply moved us many of us, to be sure.

We are all here to learn how to love, ourselves and each other...the only reason.

Hippichick,

Your response moves me to a place I can draw strength from. I truly believe that leaving m fella to his own devices here is the best thing I can do for him and myself. They are bright individuals and I believe this is a path they have to choose to walk down on their own; and they will if the tine is right for them. With these guys who are highly intellectual, all we can do is give them the latitude to figure it out and I believe at some point they will. When I stay in this mind set, like you, I do well. All of the insights shared here only help keep from allowing my fears from convincing me that it meant nothing.

This has been a very delightful and insightful conversation. Thanks to all for what you have shared thus far and let's see, maybe someone else will jump on and give us some success stories about drawing this man out of his head and more in touch with the way he feels? Magus or others, is this possible?

FIRSTLY & foremost, Be a friend to an Aquarian. Let them be themselves. Accept them for who they are and are trying to become. They will respect you for that. If that is too much/too contrary to how you may feel about life love and happiness...then move on..do not waste each others time...but if you can handle it...(& it will be worth it in the long run..no matter what type of bond forms)until whatever may transpire betwixt you both or not....simply be content with becominig/being good friends. An Aquarian will not generally flinch or pull away from honest friendship.
For a deeper relationship to eventually develope, they must feel it and move first. They are not shy about this. They are fully capable of making the first move, once the initial overtures are over.
But...while being straight up honest and open with them...do not push too hard for a commitment. Be a friend. Live your own life and let them live theirs and share it with you. In time it could become something more. But it has to be at a time THEY feel they are ready. Not you.
FRIENDSHIP comes first! Or they will not value and respect you deeply at their soul level...except as an interesting temporary diversion. Nothing wrong with that. If that was/is all you wanted from them. But start off wrong and it may never have a chance to bloom into something deeper in time. Oh yes..they may well be mourning the loss of "what could have been"...but will rarely return to see if it could yet be, once they have becomed jaded/hurt/or have aquired a sense of something feeling off or tainted or forced. Second tries often come hard with an Aquarian. Once hurt or slighted or disillusioned,...they will turn away to spare their soft, and yes Romantic heart from the potential for grief.
TIME.
That is a vital aspect with an Aquarian I feel. Just take time and enjoy each other as it comes. When the Aquarian is ready for more he/she will not leave you guessing. It is then you will truly discover their gentler nobler side and their easily broken tender hearts....under all that brash bravado, and warped, but hilariously funny humor...there is a truly caring and yearning soul waiting.
They must feel that you will be honest with them, even if you judge them...that no matter what...you are still their friend, and understand, even if you may not approve of some of their actions.
Say your piece then move on to other topics. Do not keep pointing things out to them that you may not like about them.
Once told is more than enough. They will percolate on it. Do not keep rubbing it in.
Accept them and they will accept you...good & bad...warts and roses, thorns and caresses.
I hope I have made sense here.

Well I can't find an actual birth date for Sponge Bob, but it aired on May 1, 1999.

But with all of his fishy friends, you would think he is an Aquarius since Pisces and Aquas have such a natural affinity for one another!

FYI I love SpongeBob. He is huge in this household especially with the 13 year old...

But come on folks all that emotion and crying...he has to be a bloody water sign..see below...

SpongeBob SquarePants (character)
SpongeBob SquarePants is the principal character in the animated television series SpongeBob SquarePants, which first aired in July 1999.
Appearance
He is an anthropomorphic, asexual, yellow, porous humanoid sponge with a face, and disproportionally thin and short extremities extending from the sponge. His arms are of variable length and shape at will and are retractable. He has six long black wiry eyelashes, and his eyes have sky-blue irises with very dilated pupils. He always wears a private school uniform with red tie and brown pants with two hoses, but an entirely rectangular top half enclosing his bottom part of the sponge (hence the epithet "SquarePants"). As a part of the uniform, his shoes are shining black, with a spheric bulge at the front (although still a part of the shoe proper, unlike the balls of the clown shoes). He always wears a pair of (usually) white briefs underneath his pants. He usually wears them to bed, and they are sometimes seen in public when his pants get lost on episodes such as "Ripped Pants" and "Hooky".

Personality
SpongeBob is a sweet, generous, friendly, trusting good guy. His buck-toothed grin and tremendously expressive face and body, along with his pure and good nature make him a completely loveable guy. SpongeBob's innocent and good intentions never let him do anything purposely wrong or harm anyone. His boss Mr. Krabs and next door neighbour Squidward seem to bear the brunt of his misadventures.
No matter how good natured and good tempered, SpongeBob is overexcited about everything. This, along with his repetitive talking and laughing makes him unwanted among Mrs Puff who suffers from his boating skills, and of course Squidward who is the exact opposite character (and has to cope with him all day).

SpongeBob also has exceedingly low upper body strength and has, on occasion, been known to have difficulty lifting a glass of tea. If SpongeBob persists in attempting to lift heavy objects, his thin arms have a tendency to snap off and lie on the ground twitching.

Career and leisure
SpongeBob has a career, which he takes very seriously and is very good at, as a frycook at the Krusty Krab. He was employee of the month over 373 times. He works alongside Squidward, who manages the cash register. In the recent movie, he was passed over for a promotion to the title of manager of the Krusty Krab 2. He spends his free time with his friends and especially enjoys practicing karate and catching jellyfish at Jellyfish Fields. He doesn't have a boating license, but he perpetually attends boating school trying to get his license (much to the woe and frustration of his boating instructor Mrs. Puff).

Miscellaneous information
SpongeBob's birthday is believed to be July 14, 1986. His driving license is seen in the season 1 episode, "Sleepy Time", in which he had a dream that he earned the license in question from Mrs. Puff; as well as in the season 2 episode, "No Free Rides."

SpongeBob was "outed" by the U.S. media in 2002, after reports that the TV show and its merchandise were popular with gays. The submarine frycook's daffy naivety and sexual innocence certainly do not square with the "butch" image of blue-collar American culture. Despite this, Stephen Hillenburg has stated numerous times that this is not the case (at times he even described Spongebob as asexual). However, in January 2005, two Christian conservative groups criticized SpongeBob for appearing in a video singing "We Are Family" with several other cartoon and children's television characters. The political groups claimed that call for tolerance at the website which accompanied the video, which is designed for showing in elementary schools, included tolerance for sexual orientation. "A short step beneath the surface reveals that one of the differences being celebrated is homosexuality," wrote Ed Vitagliano in an article for the American Family Association, CNN reported. "Their inclusion of the reference to "sexual identity" within their 'tolerance pledge' is not only unnecessary, but it crosses a moral line," James Dobson, founder of Focus on the Family, said in a public statement. In a parallel episode in 1999, the Rev. Jerry Falwell outed Tinky Winky, the purple, purse-toting Teletubby, to widespread hilarity. Neither Spongebob, nor his television show were singled out by Dr. James Dobson. There is still debate on his sexuality is still drifiting in the minds of fans and non-fans alike, because of this he has became a cartoon Causes cé¨bres since Tinky Winky of the Teletubbies.

Quotes
"I'm ready!"
"I've caught and named every jellyfish in this field at least once--except you, No Name".

"This Squirrel is trying to kill me!"

"As long as these pants are square, and this sponge is Bob, I will not let you down".

"Patrick, you forgot how to eat again! Come on, we'll get the Funnel!"

"Help! I'm Hooked"(starts to cry)

"I'm a Goofy Goober, YA! You're a Goofy Goober, YA! We're all Goofy Goobers, YA, Goofygoofygoofygoofy Goober YA!!"

"I'm ready, promotion. I'm ready, promotion."

Bio
Color: Yellow
Species: Sea Sponge
Gender: Male.
Eyes: Blue
Address: 132 Coral Drive
Age: 18, turning 19 in July (His birthday was seen in the episode "Sleepy Time")
Note: In the movie, he was said to have gotten employee of the month 374 times. Based on the idea that the episodes take place as far apart as they were aired, this is impossible, and the most he could have gotten is 72. This idea makes the age statistic unreliable.

Not to get back to the subject or anything, but I want to just say that I recently had to cut my Aquarian "Best Friend" of six years out of my life. Its been six months and the truth of all the lies she told and all the devestation she created is just now beginning to come out. It turns out that she has been telling mutual friends things to keep us all away from each other. I've had some good experiences with Aquarians(mostly my daughter), but unless they are exceptionally self aware, I have found that they do more damage than that minute of extraordinary sparkle is worth.

His1HotMama! HELLO!
I am sorry to hear about your Aquarian friend.
I had a brother like that with whom I was very close..until he "found religion"...did a flip flop and suddenly became holier than thou..and more phobic moral than a natural conservative, racist, and quite the self righteous bigot....married a fanatic...and then he turned on me like I could not believe! It was ugly to say the least.

Aquarians will play with you like a kid! "No matter how old"... if they can just be free acting with you.
Snow angels...tree houses...laying out together at night watching the sky and wishing on falling stars. Sunsets/Sunrises..It is a sad thing to see an Aquarian lose their "child" within.
Foster their playful child side and magic moments can indeed happen!

SPIRITED, SUE, FAYTE, NATASHA

I reread this thread and wanted to thank you all again for your wisdom (and some of my own when I was feeling better!)

My Aqua male friend has finally pushed me to the limits and what took the cake is when he failed to atleast text me on my b-day last Friday. After all he has put me through and after what I thought was a very deep connection mutually, atleast a smiley face, texed would have been ok with me, but, I guess not. I did not expect a gift, HEAVENS NO!!! Would not want anything more than showing that he cares, guess he does not. So when he finally does call, am not sure what I will say, but I will definately be carving a big boundary in stone. My heart has been jerked around too much by this self serving, egocentric SCARED man!

Love to you all,
Terri

Kind of ironic, isnt it? You would think a highly intellectual Aquarian would "think!"

Am tired of thinking about this one!
