LOL

OK, what is good about this is that we have the right houses, I think! That is exactly Saturn in the 11th, so we should be good to go now!

Ian, you see how well the houses work, when you have the right fit?

Your Saturn in the 11th would be classic for Saturn in the 11th, but Venus, there, makes you love groups, too. So, you have a classic love/hate kind of relationship with groups, I would think. Does that make sense?

Exactly. I like being in groups, but I have a love/hate relationship because its often just a PITA.

Does that mean that Venus is now out of the 12th House?

I don't think money came easy enough for you to have Jupiter in the 2nd house. I think you have a sunny, generous, and optimistic personality which would be Jupiter in the 1st, This would help your Fire Void, too, cuz Jupiter is a Fire planet. So, you may not have the classic Fire Void inertia and don't seem like you do.

Money coming easy just didn't sound so right. I've worked hard all my life.

Just by impression, does look like this could be a chart for an i-banker. Aries asc with Sun & Mars both in 10H - driven.

The trine/sextile triangle with Mer&Mars/Nep/Plu&Ura in 10H/8H/6H, so combining, drive & mind in career, intuition in other's money and risk & intensity in work life. I would not have been able to guess your job from the chart myself, but with you giving me the info, I could see that it looks right.

Yes, Jupiter in the 1st would be a friendly, optimistic person which helps in banking or any people-oriented career.

Now that we have the houses right, I can look at Chiron in the 12th. When you told me about your life, I knew deep sorrow had to show up in the chart. When, you changed the chart and Chiron was in the 12th, here it is.

I am going to meditate on this and maybe research it. Anything in the 12th doubles it, in a way. However, the way it does it is to turn it inward, so it is much harder than a non 12th house planet. It makes one almost revolve around in sorrow as if one is spinning on a merry go round. One goes round and round with the pain of this planet untul one finds an opening allowing one to detach, a bit, hopefully, and to see what one has been dealing with. Perhaps, Astrology is doing that for you, now

Does the merry go round analogy of pain fit? The 12th house drives the planet energy inward, you could say, so it is very hard to even get it so you can see it. It is similar to Retro. It is different, but similar, I think.

Do this, Ian, not so you take up the whole Board but make a new thread of your synastry with your wife. I would like to refer to that, every now and then, too. I think you are blessed with a wonderful relationship and I would like to see some of the things that make it so.

I am scoping out some interesting things. Your moon is in Gemini in the 3rd house. Your wife has all these planets in the 3rd which beg for communication but her Gemini moon is in the 12th making it shy and diffident to express itself. In a marriage, the two become one, in that they merge. I can see how you could open her up because you have the OUTER manifestation of what she has hidden, in this instance, at least. What do you think?

You have 3 things I am gonna cogitate on. One is your Saturn in the 11th square Nep in the 8th. Did you ever answer if the 8th house Neptune fit you? One's placements should fit one, if they are right.

The other thing is the interesting interplay between Chiron in the 12th oppose Uranus and Pluto in the 6th. This is a huge ouch! However, there you have a beautiful Jupiter quincunx as a way out. I am gonna be thinking on these things !

You have Jup square Sun but Jup is in the first house, now. I am thinking it may be a struggle between your expansive outer personality which is very much a part of you. You are like a Golden retriever, a puppy who comes and licks your face.

Then, you have all the strong, cautious , driven Cap planets in the 10th house if career, Cap's natural house, so it makes it stronger, still.

So, I would postulate that you have that wonderful exuberant part of your personality that wants to love everyone. This part struggles with the cautious part of you AND the "cunning" and Machevellian part of you which is a Cap Mars.

How does this sound? Right/wrong/in between? Please, explain?

I'm a tad confused about Neptune in 8th House. If you mean that I am in tune with the emotions of others and that I am generous and compassionate towards others, then that is correct.

If you mean that I have problems managing the money of others, or that I will receive money through my spouse, or some sort of inheritance, then I have no comment on that, except that my dad is well to do and I have no idea what his true wealth is.

If you mean about the sexual fantasy role playing thing, then I definitely have no comment. Unconventional sexual role playing is definitely not me. Noting, that my Neptune is also Scorpio.

I think I have Saturn in the 11th square Neptune in the 8th. This comes from our discussion of Saturn. Let me run this by you.

We discussed your Saturn. So, take that and out it with Neptune in the 8th which makes it very hard for you to look at your deep, repressed emotions. Inside, you have htings you are unable to face. Neptune does that. It is a bummer that way lol

So, perhaps the group issues come from deep wells of feelings you repressed as a child. Perhaps, when yoa are around groups and men win groups, in particular, it brings up these feelings and you shut down from interacting, setting off a chain reaction where you just don't feel you fit in. My theory is that Neptune in the 8th is contributing to it, in this way. What do you think, Ian?

No, what I meant about Nep in the 8th was that YOUR deeper feelings are not accessible to you. They are "hidden" in the depths of you. Neptune does that in whatever house it is in. It makes the contents of the house foggy, unclear, hard to grasp, having distortions, or an unreality about it that one wishes one could clear out the smoke and SEE.

That is my sense of Neptune.
