I have done my best to move on and wish others would let me do so.
An implied truce was made I felt.
Which Solane chooses not to honour  ...so I will try to ignore her from hereon. I do not expect her attitude towards me to change.
So there is no sense in my falling for any more of her bait.
As for truces....
That is good enough for forum life and communications.

Fayte, you know dam well that these are'nt assumpations on anyones part, everyone know the history of you and Mirandee and why can't you just see and understand that any replies to Mirandee posts or threads would probly not be a great idea it this point and time, that is the real point isn't it????Feeling the way you two do right now and the wounds stills sore, why would you think that Mirandee would even care to hear your opinion right now!!! I had a 30lb. 6 foot iguanna named Lady BlueMeenee!
I loved her so much! She was gentle and beautiful and ate rose petals and violets and nasturtiums from my hand.
She was 10 years old when she passed.
She was a blue grey turquoise coloured one with lovely golden eyes!
Ok...enough on her, it makes me cry. 
I miss her soooooooooo much. ------------------

Fayte - how cool! I've never had a pet lizard or reptile, but hopefully sometime in my life I will! And that's a fab name - did you get it from Yellow Submarine as well? In regards to previous dramas on here - I know I'm new, but I'm not new to messageboard dramas. I think Fayte posted an alternative viewpoint, which was appreciated, as an alternative viewpoint. She did, and it is appreciated. Sometimes people who are well meaning inadvertently say stupid things and cause poo storms. I hope we can have a lovely, and thought provoking conversation about this topic.------------------

Or a phrase or term is taken as offensive when it was not intended to be so.
Sometimes when we are rushed to reply when otherwise distracted we do not always chose the best terms or words. Call it stupid, call it a brain fart moment...but folks need to chill out and not assume the worse.
And perhaps avoid posting when under unusual sudden acute stress, and or while having chronic stress that increases the chances of hasty and not best worded replies. And I am speaking here of myself too,  not just others.------------------

Your missing the point here Fayte. The not posting on any of Mirandee threads or giving just your opinion on anything that Mirandee posts will probally stir-up some hurt feelings and misunderstandings.Why even bother and you know this to be true Fayte. Well I think everyone knows every one enough by now. So whats your point? The words of Mirandees first post is indeed egoistic in nature. And very negative. I didn't bother seeing the video link that she provided. Fayte is right in condemning Mirandee. Its a typical "I know it all - attitude."
Whats wrong in having olympics where the only sport allowed is judged on the criteria of "Fastest, Strongest and Highest". You know what I mean. Why doesn't Mirandee refrain from posting in the first place. Or think before she leaps. The end does not justify the means. Nada. I apologize in advance if I misunderstood everyone's intent here.

I just posted a nice song here. What's all the fuss about?Isn't everyone allowed to post whatever they feel like posting at LL? Or do some here feel only their viewpoints are allowed to be heard? I full well know the study of religion is complex having taking 4 years of Theology, Scripture study and the study of religions. I know it is complex having also taught that aspect of it. However, the spiritual aspect is simple. It comes from the heart. Studying does nothing for faith. It's knowing it in the heart that is important. That's what this song is about and it's spirituality I am talking about. All organized religions make things complex as do all courses and studies on it but the spirituality part is what is most important. What you learn is one thing. Taking it in and making it your own and feeling it in all your being is what spirituality is all about. You can study and know many things. If you don't feel it and live it then it's just a bunch of useless information. If anyone takes my posting a song personally or as an attack I'm sorry you feel that way. But LL is a site which allows for freedom of speech. That means all different thoughts are allowed here at LL. Even a song. I love this song too, GG. I always did. IP: Logged |

Since you suggested it, Juni I will 'splain. I posted the song "Ripple" by the Grateful Dead because I love the song. It pretty much sums up how I feel about spirituality and religion and the journey. The song is meaningful to me for personal reasons. My oldest son gave me this song years ago when he was a teen in the Grateful Dead's American Rose CD. He said, " You'll love the song "Ripple," Mom." And I did. I have since I first heard it. I have posted the song here at UC in the past and I have posted it at FFA as well. All for the same reason. I like the song, it is meaningful to me. It pretty much sums up how I feel about the journey and spirituality as a whole. The song is about the simplicity of spirituality and the journey which is why I gave the comments I did as an intro the song. Beyond that, I don't have to explain my intentions every time I post something at LL anymore than anyone else does. Randall runs this site. LL is his site. Randall has made it a free speech site where, as long as you don't personally attack people with name calling etc., you can post freely. Anything you want to post. IP: Logged |

Why not express your life from your being. Experience life from the being.
Respond from your being. Everyone will know this in their own sweet way. Who are we to tell. The brain/ego is not entirely unnecessary. The initial seekers they must not know this. LL belongs to Randall - but there are many donors here as well. For those that don't donate they make it up by spending time sharing invaluable experiences or knowledge or simply just listening to people who are in need.

Every thought that you think will be known by others. There are no secrets. Be true to yourself what ur true intent was? Are you ok Mirandee? And with all due respect - is it just age? I tease my mom all the time till the point of her breaking down. And then I tell her - atleast learn something and die. It hurts her. But I love her very much. Hope she doesn't mind. Do you? At one point she says "Oh am I supposed to learn at this age?". I tell her. "Yes. Never stop learning.". She says "I can't". Then I say sarcastically "Then Die.". Perhaps, this won't make sense.
