But a few have given me more trouble than was justified simply for expressing my theories and what I do not believe is true. That is why I finally decided to begin a thread with a warning to those it may possibly offend. I do not want it to turn into a holy war there.

Thank you for explaining that to me, now I understand. And I'm sorry that that has happened to you but that doesn't mean all Christians behave that way. There are different schools of thought within that religion.

Basically a bigot or a zealot is so no matter what religion or not religion they subscribe to. It is not restricted to Christians only.

Now I'm not really that religious but I guess my thoughts and beliefs do tend to lean that way sometimes. And nor do I feel uncomfortable posting here.....just tired. The thread I was speaking of was this one which turned into an all-out war because first I challenged his view that 'Jesus did not exist' and second, I challenged his view on another practice related to religion which he blamed on the 'evils of religion'. Here it is.....
