There have been many events throughout recent months which fulfilled a small part of this book, like pollution, sudden death of fish/birds, new virus forms, "red rivers" [like toxic sludge in Hungary] and so on.

Thus, it looks like a "Time Loop". Every generation and nation seems to be playing its own version of the Book of Revelations.

I can do it from 1948, if you want. The Rapture is known as happening before the Tribulation but has no actual date, just signs of the times. The Tribulation has actual dates BASED on the timing from 1948, when Israel became a state.

Hmm, pieces of peace cake?

I'm acquainted with the scriptures, more then slightly, here is where disagreement with Ami A comes from:

"Repent! You never know when the Earth will suffer the flaming wrath of God!"

The actual "bible" is actually based on Catholic interpretations of it from the various councils and what have you. This is one of the reasons why "KJV is the one for me" causes a bit of a grin.

Basically, strip out the Apocrypha chapters, highlight Revelations, and proclaim a abiding faith in the book, not what it actually says.

It's the oddest of approaches, Christ said his was not an Earthly kingdom, but reigned inside the spirit, and yet it is as if he never said this.

For myself, mankind, aside from sociopaths, knows better then to do some of the things we do, this is a part of what Christ was speaking of in the synoptic Gospels.

But yet, b/c that does not shoe horn into "Israel! 1948!" that is ignored as well.

The funny thing is though, several guideposts aside from Israel are to be found in the Scriptures, those are ignored as well.

OK, the Catholic Bible is NOT the actual Bible. The Catholic Church made it's own Bible.

Peter being the first Pope is made up. Peter said "On this rock I build my church" The rock was not the Catholic Church, but Jesus.

So, forget the Catholic Bible in all this. It is not germane to this discussion

Catholic scholarship prior to he and John Wyclife translating their manuscripts into English and German etc.

Not point this out save for information purpose however the "Bible" for 1100 yrs was the Catholic version.
