"Not to say I think you'd make a poor psychic, or thing I know you or something like that, but I do both to the extent of relevance."
Typo on "thing" was supposed to be "think" but yeah, I said I'm not saying I think I know you, but I know you to an extent of relevance, which means It doesn't matter whether I know you personally or not (obviously, since I don't you, and you're my example), I wouldn't trust your word in the matter of my past life, because I know you('re human, essentially, is what I meant. You're nothing new, -no offense- in this matter, So I have no reason to think you'd bring anything new.).

I don't know what you mean about me having impersonal motivations to get readings lol, sounds like either a good thing, or something crudely rooted (like twisted by the core.. having a sense I need to have a reading other than for my self, is obviously amiss, since I am myself).

Obviously this is insulting, so sorry, I suppose I ended up just dissing your job there, lol, While I was trying to express myself to reach empathy, and ultimately bond with you hahahahahaha

"LOL. It sounds weird. Me and my 'stuff', happily reunited."
lol I suppose you ARE a Virgo, after all. The thing that sounds most weird to me is the table cloth lol, I guess is my culture, they're just so contemporary.

Snohawk, I actually found the 'stuff' thing more Taurus of me (rising and Mars)....stuff mine. LOL. Actually hugging the ice cream maker made me feel like Homer Simpson for a second

No, you didn't dissolve my job, lol. It's really ok. I know what you mean by past life readings. I mean, duh, how is it 'possible' to check for evidence? There's no way to know for sure. I'm not exactly convinced that someone would for instance KNOW any of this stuff for certain, for sure 100%. Being human is a fly in the ointment unfortunately.

haha yeah, sorry, I didn't extensively check your chart for relevant placements, I just went for the figure that Virgo was only your "mask" by only having your sun in it, not even a house cusp, yet this justified otherwise, perhaps.

Yeah, well.. I suppose one might feel goofy and lighthearted, and hug their long lost ice-cream maker, but when it makes you teary-eyed.. lol

But, seriously, I suppose I can sympathize you felt sentimentally attached to your "stuff" because you worked for them in a ladder kind of way to achieve them, and they're like your medals reminding you of what you did to get them. So maybe you don't have to worry about being Homer Simpsony, lol. It is of course possible you have actually had some good memories with these possessions lol, but I can sympathize, even if you haven't.

"Being human is a fly in the ointment unfortunately. " haha yeah, I have fallen prone to fantasizing otherwise (not being human, being disconnected from other humans in some way).

You sound like me. I prefer to buy stuff that I really love, so I would have the same reaction. My acoustic guitar is the first thing to come to mind. Every guitarist loves their primary guitar, but I seldom meet anyone who has an acoustic I like as much as I like my own. Mine looks good in a somewhat normal kind of way, but if it didn't sound as good as it does I wouldn't like it as much.

I think my acoustic guitar kind of sucks. But that's probably because I didn't buy it :P

My mom's is far better, it's a TAMA impersonation of a martin, but as you doubtlessly know, all guitars are their own.

I like my electric guitar a lot though, even though I didn't buy it either :P I like it's relatively curved fretboard, and how the strings are tight against it. It has a humbucking and normal pickup on it, so I suppose that's good for selection, though I usually just keep only the humbucking one on.

AG, what kind of guitar do you have? I don't play, but the last gift I got my ex was an Alvarez acoustic with electric plug-in thingie (thingie...that tells you how much I know LOL). He was just starting out and it was a toss-up between Alvarez and Ibanez. Do you or Snohawk know if Alvarez is any good?

Snowhawk....I love Homer Simpson, so I have no problem acting like him from time to time And as a matter of fact.....I think I remember one episode where he was reading his daily horoscope and he was a Taurus

Yeah, not many possessions for me. A couple of really unique furniture pieces, some rather over-priced clothing and shoes lol....and of course the kitchenware. I don't hold on to much, constantly letting go of 'stuff' - I come from a family of horrendous pack rats though. One of my sisters is soooo bad at hording things. When she was in high school, she used to collect the empty toilet paper rolls for potential school projects, and one time my mother opened the closet and like 800 rolls fell out LOL! My mother threw them out, and my sister was CRYING
It's kinda weird....I don't equate pack rats with air signs, but my two sisters are Geminis, and my brother, dad, mother, and grandmother....Aquas. ALL THE WORST hoarders of USELESS stuff. Broken things, etc.... weirdos lol.

I honestly don't know a whole lot about guitar brands.

But my mom is a Capricorn breaching Aquarius, with Sagittarius Moon, and Pisces Rising, and she pack rats a lot of worthless crap. Our house is full of cheap crap. Not the way I want to live :P

That's weird, hoarding is suppose to be a cancerian trait and I'm not really one to hang onto junk. I do like my shoes and stuffed animals though.

I'm glad you finally got back your stuff from your ex though, he sounds like a total emotional vampire.

"stuffed animals" haha, Totally stereotypical Cancer.

My habits with "stuff" is take or remove, which often ends up in remove. So some might say I'm pretty destructive like that. I just deleted my facebook account for an example.

Leaping, I'm sorry he's still got your pendant (Jerk!!!)

Dulce: Yeah, emotional vampire is a term I thought of a lot in relation to him....
And I hear you with the shoes, lady ...stuffed animals not so much. My sister (great hoarder of toilet paper rolls) has all her stuffed animals and has her baby blanket still that she holds on to. She's married to a Cancer. She's got to have a Cancer moon or something, but not rising, I think she maybe Virgo rising...pickier and finickier than I am lol.

I can kinda relate to Snohawk with just getting rid of something for some weird regenerative purpose (that looks destructive to others)....Like in relationships, when they end, I have a tendency of completely destroying the gifts. I just can't have them. I don't even hold grudges against exes, but the really intimate stuff is unbearable to keep.
I've thrown rings and various jewelry into the ocean off cliffs lol. My wedding dress was a really cute Betsy Johnson number, teal blue. I gave it away - just get rid of it, the more intimate the gift, the less likely I will hold on to it once things end. I feel guilty sometimes. Maybe it's the Pluto on the 7th/Scorpio Venus, I don't know.
Gifts for the sacrificial altar lol

I totally understand the "my stuff" thing.
My stuff was either not given to me or destroyed.....by stepmother....then 2 exes.
Glad you got yours back.
My stuff was hoarded/given away/destroyed by a Libra, a Virgo, a Capricorn, and another Virgo. Others involved (in stealing when I was not home) were another Libra, another Capricorn, along with the Virgo. And then a Leo and an October Scorpio.

snohawk1.....you mentioned misspelling......

Don't make fun. *pets stuffed kitty*

And yeah, other than those aforementioned things, alot of things get revamped and my wardrobe is usually the first victim (courtesy of a gemini venus). Although I have alot of ethnic costumes I've *never* gotten rid of for some reason or another.

But instead of throwing out certain gifts from my ex.....I've pawned some for .

I don't understand why its so difficult for people to return stuff either though? If I were in their shoes, I'd be glad to give them back anything that reminded me of them. I have a very expensive bag that was a gift from my aunt. I had a fight with my bff last year and I ended up leaving it there with a number of my belongings in it because she would not let me in her house. And she everytime she said she'd return it, she never did. We're cool now, but I still haven't seen my bag since.

As for my ex, I cleaned out his place of everything that was mine in about one night.

It seemed more like she thought I was scticklering someone else, and thus she brought justice by sticking it back to me, while I was sticking myself the whole while.

Dulce....yeah, I usually don't want to keep the gifts and try to return but it doesn't work because my exes don't want it back and seem really hurt. However, I didn't destroy my wedding ring when I divorced. I was overseas in Egypt when I had asked my ex for the divorce (he was in the US) and he told me to sell the ring, which caught me off-guard. Eventually I did because I really needed the money, but I felt horribly.
However, I hated that ring. I remember my ex dragging me to Jared Jewelers before we eloped and taking me ring-shopping. I was looking at these small, delicate rings (I have small hands, big rings look weird on me anyway) and he and the sales guy were urging me toward the bigger diamond rings.

"Since we're skipping engagement and getting married, maybe you should get something more substantial," my ex said (spoken like a true Capricorn sun/Venus)

I reluctantly chose (read: got talked into) a platinum ring with 3 diamonds, but I secretly hated it. It felt really weird to wear. I don't know if it's because the marriage felt wrong or the ring was wrong, or what. But I only wore the damn thing when we went out, otherwise it stayed on the nightstand. It was a beautiful ring, don't get me wrong, but I actually dislike diamonds and prefer emeralds However, my ex was somewhat traditional in this way - if we're eloping, at least something should be 'traditional' - so I kind of went along with it to please him.

Here's the kicker: When I went to sell the thing, my father (a goldsmith, btw) appraised it, and told me it was not, in fact, platinum (which the certificate AND insurance SAID) but WHITE GOLD. I didn't believe him and he said 'See for yourself,' handing me the magnifying glass.....and indeed I saw the words 'gold' on there ...what a rip-off! Obviously platinum is a lot more expensive than gold. So....
I never told my ex, he probably would've felt even worse.
Anyway, I am sentimental about jewelry that doesn't come from a CHAIN. If it's been handmade by someone I know, or was a vintage ring (which is what I wanted), I could have never, in a million years, sold the thing.

Huh???
I caught it was you correcting yourself.
I shall not correct you again unless you OK it.
Sorry I offended. I just assumed you would want to know so as to not make the mistake again. I would value such a thing brought to my attention.
Sorry it offended you instead
Not my intention.
Was just trying to help.
