So since youre a capricorn rising, are you into fashion? I dont know how the women are about this..but I notice men with Cap in their charts tend to be into style, and nice clothes. are you the same way?

Hmmm, I'm not into *extremely* high-end clothing, but I tend not to buy things very cheap either. *hides* I do like to look VERY classy when I'm going out, which is why I prefer the Salsa/Latin Club, a 21+ joint, or a nice bar as opposed the average nightclub where the dresscode is very sleazy.

In everyday life though, I'm more of a bohemianish dresser. I like the cotton summer dresses they have out, paiselys, slippers, gladiator sandals, peasant blouses, or a standard tanktop with jeans.

Livejournal writer's block question: If you could choose to control your dreams, would you? If so, what would you dream about?

I would jump for joy if this could be done....which is sooooo Neptunian of me. Or specifically the manifestation of my Neptune in Capricorn/12th. I'm always wishing my daydreams were reality. The problem is, then I wouldn't have an excuse to live my real life if this were possible. Don't get me wrong, I'd still have my job and friends but I probably wouldn't meet people, have anymore relationships, etc. But maybe that's how the Neptune influence in my chart already interferes. I really would rather get lost in a good book or movie than get out and socialize alot of times.

Football as a religion.

My friend is currently in some random town in Southern Brazil visiting future cunhados (brother/sister in laws). Apparently this town shut down for the day due to the Brasil-North Korea match scheduled. And for every goal scored, there was a parade down the street.

My grandmother would tell stories in the 70's of Brazilians who committed suicide when their national team flopped----->>> mostly to scare my grandfather who is footie obsessed.

Hearing Cancer and Scorpio touted as the marriage match is part-amusing and part-irritating these days. Its so funny how your perspective changes so easily over 3 years. Nowadays I prefer the company of other Cancers for that type of connection.

How do you know if you have the same (emotional) highs and lows as everyone else? I'm starting to believe mine are a bit extreme.

Yesterday, my Cappy/Pisces/Pisces sister said to me, "I never would have thought that an Aries with a Gemini Moon would be so emotional!" I pointed out to her that I also have a Pisces Mars, squaring that Gemini Moon (not to mention it sitting on the cusp of the 8th, trining Pluto, Scorpio ascendant, etc).

Don't you have an 8th house Moon?

Yeah, I have the 8th house moon in Virgo.

I wonder what the criteria for 'normal' feelings are though. What if you feel crippled by them sometimes?

I wrote a whole essay on a deep comparision of Peter and Sylar from Heroes and my Professor loved it. Looks like my Cancer Mercury is still good for something.

I love reading and writing for the liscense it gives me to escape. I wonder why I never appreciated these kind of English classes in grade school. Oh yes, because I wasn't as focused back then.

And I wonder if the eclipse has settled my job situation for good? I have not been sent to another floor, nor have I had to sit with a patient in over a month. I suspect that the incident on 3rd floor (Geriatrics/Cardiac Unit) a few weeks ago has something to do with this: I was suppose to be babysitting their demented patient, but then they actually made me work on their floor. I was p*ssed.

I won't hold my breath though because soon the honeymoon will be over and I'll be babysitting druggaddicts, suicidals, or whatevers instead of working on my actual floor and as a result I'll be completely drained and wanting to quit my job again.

So I found out the D.O.B. of the co-worker that I cannot stand the most, and her sun squares my sun, her venus squares my venus, and her mars opposes my mars. So much for that theory that squares create interest....she bothers me on so many levels.

Granted, its not a romantic heterosexual encounter I'm talking about, but I doubt it would have been much better if she were a guy.

Hi Benedict Moon. I haven't had time to read all the posts in this thread yet, but just wanted to say howdy and that I love your line about Bollywood speaking to Venus in your 5th house! LOL!
I'm also a history nerd, specifically my area is medieval Europe and I'm considering doing a course on Medieval astrology because I am really drawn to it. I also love to read, read, read.
OK...I sound like I'm answering a personal's ad here... oops, not doing that! I just dig your vibe :-)

I'm a Scorpio with Aqua rising and cap moon. I'm still learning about what all the other stuff means... I'm curious to talk to you more about Saturn. I believe that I went through my Saturn Return EARLY. This is probably not possible, but I'm not one for "rules" anyway!! I have my reasons for this belief...
I'm in Australia, and we are just about to move into summer- which is FREAKING HOT (and dry). never been to Mozambique, but I bet it's hot there too!

Hey there!

What would you like to know about Saturn? haha Do you also have it in your 12th house?

Yeah, I just pick up and read about history of any kind. I'm not sure if I have a particular area that I focus on but East Africa and the American Revolution are two I've also found interesting. But then again, everyone's history is interesting...hehe. Somebody recently posted some articles of the history surrounding a favored Football club of mine and I'm hooked.

Mozambique is very hot from like November to March, and its very humid on the Coast. Inland is worse though because its dry. =__= I was raised in Rhode Island for most of my life though, and I find myself down in North Carolina right now.

Oooo I spent every summer as a kid at Nag's Head. NC is good people. The weather here is as you describe- hot as hades from Nov-March but DRY!!! It was so dry last summer that my feet peeled! I am originally from NY where the summer is SUPER humid, so this dry heat thing has taken a while to get used to. It really is like a hair dryer in your face :-)

My saturn is in the 8th house (and in Libra) and I have 5 planets in total in my 8th. I think i have one of those "compressed charts" because most everything is in 8 and 9 with a few straglers at 6 or. Sun, Mercury, Saturn,Jupiter and Pluto all in the 8th AND I'm a Scorpio! Haha- what do it all mean?!

I think I had mine early because for the past 11 months (i'm coming out of it now) I came down with a mystery illness no one could figure out. I was unable to walk because all my joints were swollen and painful, and I just slept for about 18 hours a day. My digestive system stopped working (in more ways than one, and you do not even want to know!) I was tested for everything under the sun and no one could figure it out. Then, I went through this huge thing at the same time where I left my career path of 10 years. I just couldn't stand it one more SECOND. that was pretty recent. I decided to quit the career that I hated and be unemployed while I try to pursue my secret passion of writing. I also very suddenly decided that I will have a baby, and am getting married in November to my long-time bf and we are planning out a family in the next 2 years. I also had to change my entire diet to almost the reverse of what it used to be and learn a crap-load about naturopathy and healing since I stopped taking the medications I was on about 6 months ago and have had to learn to treat myself holistically.
I'm like....not even close to the person I was 11 months ago. SO, if my SR is only just about to happen in December, I am totally freaking out because what more could a person go through? Seriously?!

How far away is T-Saturn away from you actual Saturn? I think it could make a difference if its even 5 or 6 degrees away. At the same time, there are alot of major hitters (Pluto, Uranus, and Jupiter) in every Cardinal sign except Cancer. No, scratch that, Uranus will go back to Pisces in very soon. I'm curious as to how far away Transiting Pluto is from your Capricorn Moon. Does your moon reside in the early degrees?

As for Saturn Returns, I'm actually trying to forget those exist..LAWLZ. I always hate to be reminded of mine since it it sits in the 12th house along with 2 other planets and an asteroid. Pluto has already been going through my 12th house stellium as far back as 2006, and started opposing my 6th house stellium a year ago....not really fun. I expected an easier time since I'm very Plutonian, but I guess I was wrong? Saturn transits are always a life ruiner for me too, so I don't think my Return will be much better than T-Pluto...hehe.

Wouldn't you know it? I'm a Capricorn Ascendant who hates Saturn with all her being. Probably explains why I don't even identify with the majority of Capricorn traits. Though since Saturn is submerged in the 12th (in Sag at that), maybe I just completely disown it.

Greetings Frozen Queen! Its always nice to meet other soccer/footy fans.

I just tried Teasel's Tarot Spread in 'Through the Looking Glass' in the ways you are ready for love, and the ways I am not. I got the Knight of Coins and the 8 of Coins in the positive positions (1 and 3) and they pretty much reinforce eachother in my eyes. I guess if I was ready it would be because of my patience and dedication...and I should definitely keep that up. Not disagreeing at all.

In the Negative positions (2 and 4), I got the Page of Swords and Force Reversed respectively. I probably wouldn't be ready because I live too much in my head and I'm still frickin' reserved and timid as hell in these matters. Also true.

Funny how all these cards easily correspond to certain placements in my chart.

Anywho, the outcome is the Moon....but Im always confused as to whether this is positive or negative. For me, with lots of Neptune in my chart, wouldn't it be a positive thing? Or maybe because the Cards are telling me to live more in reality than in the clouds, it is a little more negative? I will probably continue to live in foggy daydreams if I don't DO something already. Its been almost 2 years since I've *done* anything about anything in the part of life. It gets to be too much when you can't figure out what exactly you need. Oh wait, I finally have, and in the most ironic of ways.......

Why only Virgo Moons should be allowed to buy birthday presents for Virgo Suns (jest)

I got my mother (who's b-day was on the 11th) a cookbook that was organized by dinner, lunch, desert, seafood, meats, breads, slowcooks, etc., down to the last pea.

SHE WAS ECSTATIC.

I hate Venus right now, and I'm very envious everyone who has her so well intergrated in her chart. I'm still going through an ugly duckling phase, my flaws are wicked APPARENT as always, my weight is absolute crap, I have a permanent bad hair day, I'm absolute shiite at relating to people and relationships in general, I'm tired of hearing about soulmates and synastry, and I hate chocolate. I don't have an iota of this stupid deity in the veins.

Taurus Jupiter for compensation? Why.am.I.kidding.myself? I still have stupid fecking unaspected Venus who's qualities won't stop eluding me.

If anyone still cares...

Venus retrograde is always such a shiite period for someone with a Perigrine Venus. My hair doesn't look right (when does it ever?), my skin is peeling and irritated, I can't go fall shopping this year, I need to get my eyebrows done before I start to look like my dad, and I'm still envious of more relationship-oriented folks.

I honestly can't wait for T-Saturn to start Transiting my Unaspected Venus at the end of this year....maybe a lightbulb will finally go off as to what I need to do to get what I want (better love life, better looks, etc.)

Clinicals: My first day as a Student Nurse was so-so. The Patient was an independent Aries who got sick of us after a while. Atleast it wasn't as terrible as I thought it would be.

Otherwise....Nursing School is still kicking my ass.

AAAAND....mi corazon BLANCO scored twice yesterday...for a faraway German team. I think I'll resign myself to watching one Schalke game just to see him happy again. Damn Venus Retrograde.

Honey, this Venus rx is making me batsh%t too, and I don't have Venus peregrine in my chart. She's transitting my 7th along with Mars and they're both cutting their teeth on me. I can assure you it's been freakin' HELL...crying jags out of nowhere...fighting with myself, feeling like I want to die, etc...
I'm ok after I cry for a while. It's like PMS from hell, but I am not pmsed. Oh, it's going to be fine when I am tho

On another note...my progressed moon is in Virgo right now and I freaking HATE IT. How the hell do you guys do it? I am a Virgo and since the damn moon has gone into Virgo in my prog. chart I have been like hard as hell on myself and so critical I cannot function. My Virgo sun nature is usually pretty good with knowing my worth since it's a 5th house sun and an Aries moon with a nice 1st house Mars, but this damn Virgo moon is like a wet blanket on me. It's gotta be that compatible moons do well in progressions, because the last time I felt like this was when my progressed moon was in Cancer, which made me feel all squirmy and weird. When it got into Leo I was all, YES, I AM AWESOME LOL

Anyway, nursing class! Didn't you have a horary chart up about it some time ago, or do I forget? How goes it in general like about the goal...are you happy with it??
