Heyyyy, its been a while!

Yeah, I can't imagine that Venus retrograde is easy for anyone with a strong Venus (apparently perigrine falls under that category, but I'll have to see about that). The atmosphere has been unsettling too...people are not putting on their 'nice' façades anymore and are just telling how they really feel. I guess thats not such a bad thing, its just ugly when you have to witness it. =__=

Re: the Progressed Moon. The only advice I can give you is to either reorganize your house or go to the bookstore. Maybe more the last one, because going to the library or bookstore always makes me feel better....hahahaha. It really is a critical placement though, but thats because we notice EVERY frickin' little detail that makes up the whole.

I can only say I notice subtle differences when my progressed moon switches signs. Maybe its tied to my theory (or FACT) that every Cancerian is moody, no matter what their moon sign. My progressed moon and venus just moved into Cancer this year and my moods are pretty much the same as they've always been, but I have noticed that I now actually enjoy wearing dresses...and I'm now comfortable with the idea of a serious 'homey' relationship...LOL.

And I'm happy about Nursing School...but its tough....like, boot camp tough. *__* In the end it was like a savior moment when they called me for the spot....I was really getting sick of my job.

If people feel the need to project their problems with cancerians in RL ONTO me, then I seriously need a break from this forum. It is just ridiculous that I cannot get my point across without being accused of manipulation or underhandedness. Grow up.

I have not emotionally invested myself in another human being in the last 2 years. No one is good enough anymore. It seems like I'm waiting for Jesus to come. My standards becoming to high? Hmmmm.....

Nursing school! *slap* I nin't doe that!! Me too! I'm one of those pathetic middle aged ones.

Cancers and I go way back - how can you be a Cancer, I feel like I'm in love with you.

I collect Cancers. Sorry for projecting...haha.

No seriously, what is this problem on the forum with Cancers - was it me? I can do that unwittingly, no actually, wittingly, but I agree with your summation, my inner child has been afronted and I'm being immature - I should explore that.

Gawd, I don't know who to blame though, maybe myself. My bias stems from a long 'friendship' that began in Kindergarten, as well as my thorn in the side ex husband as well as the multitude of Cancer sign nurses I work with. You seem so wonderful - are they all this wonderful, damn it they've duped me again!

Anyhow, we can talk about me again later. I love history too!

Forget Jesus, remember, on the third day he is risen, then he has one last supper and he's outa there. So yeah, save yourself the heartache, Bene.

What about a new hobby instead - garden gnomes for instance - can't have too higher expectations with them.

LOL...you crack me up. Garden gnomes sounds safer.

And Noooo, it wasn't you at all. It was someone I was in the middle of an argument with who started accusing me of doing all the underhanded stuff her messed up psycho Cancer mother does. It's so weird to me since I'm an Aries Mars so I'm always trying to get to the point instead of going around in circles...which ironically, I felt this was person was doing the entire time.

Anyways, I digress...I have another question though: it seems that so many Virgos have terrible experiences with Cancers. Not only on here, but my Virgo mother is another example: she was once married to my Cancer father and would rather forget the experience....LOL. I know she sekretly hates that me and my pisces sister inherited his dark moods...hahaha. I wonder why that is though? We're suppose to be sextile...LMAO.

For the record, I like Virgo Suns, and I have a Virgo moon so I guess that helps the feeling to be mutual.

All my Cancer co-workers (except one) and the cancers I know elsewhere are pretty cool. Its very rare that I do come across an unevolved one at all. We're all so radically different though, but also so similar at the same time. I understand that when we're in our shadowy moody phase we're probably not the easiest to be around when the moon is waning or full, and that's the bulk of why we get such a bad rap. Its a very solary/saturny society so no one likes people who don't seem to be in control of themselves...haha.

Also...What kind of Nursing do you do? (Adult, pediatric, ICU, ER, Med-Surg, etc.?) I'm planning to go back to my floor after I finish (if I finish..haha), but I'll probably eventually move on to Chapel Hill or Charlotte...or even Virginia and Florida.

Hello again,

oh I'm in aged care but I won't stay there when I'm finished.

I will try to get a new graduate position where we are sort of supported as new RNs. I don't live in a big city so there are only so many new grad positions that I can go for and there's a lot of competition.

I hope to get intensive care or emergency department not because I feel I can do it but more so because I feel that if I can last the first year then I qualify as an RN within myself.

I'm not free to move around at this point, but will probably do so in a few more years. I would also like to fit in a few months voluntary every so often to feel like I have contributed where there is a great need. My eldest daughter is also doing the course but she is one year behind me. She wants to do pediatrics - she doesn't have any children yet, I'd find it too upsetting - and I know I will sure have struggles in emergency department - I will test myself and if I can't keep going with it I'll have to switch.

I looked back through this thread, some of the things I would like worship you and be jealous about are:

football fan - I love soccer and love the idea of being a spectator and part of a massive side of fans that are all cheering along their teams, and follow the scores and the various dramas of the players etc - sadly though, I haven't been able to actualise this inclination yet, can't say why it just hasn't sort of happened.

latin club - I can not salsa etc and am determined to. I especially want to be able to frequent a latin club to be able to dance with others who love it.

Gemini moon - oh, you and MVM are so correct about us. I have a narrow allowance for what I will receive or tolerate - its irritating even to me, so I spend a lot of time trying to be a good listener but its all about what I'm interested in - disgusting. I am also a terrible blusher - I put this down to my hypercritical nature backfiring on me. At close range I am as boring as hell because I have most of my interest going on internally and the other person only gets a look in if what they are doing interests me, the good thing is I am interested in a lot about people - I can imagine your reaction to this!

anyhow, good luck with your studies, I have a big test tomorrow on arterial blood gas assessment, cancer, and blood.

Well guys, I probably won't be back here till late evening (class and clinical assigments...ugh) but right now I apologize about my Gemini Moon rants! Its my sister and brother: they just irritate the hell out of me at times with their flippant behavior. *sigh* Its not so bad right now though, we're actually in a 'we're cool' stage of the cycle.

Virgo and Gemini are just bound to be like that odd couple anyways, though...LULZ.

Chrys, yep Aries moon here (in the 12th)

As for Gemini Moons...I've always gotten along with them, was even married to one ...I daresay it was one of his more redeeming qualities, though I think it's just having compatible moons which helps. My stepfather is also a Gemini moon - lovely man Sometimes I've noticed them being really scattered and that's sometimes what bugs me but for the most part they seem pretty adaptable.

Moons I don't get along with or just do not understand : Cappy, Cancer, Libra, occasionally Virgo (you'd think I would understand them well, having a Virgo sun and all, but no. My brother has this moon and I think it's actually harder on men than it is on women. I think there's a weird vulnerability to this moon and it seems to work hard to cover up its vulnerability, if that makes sense.)

I think Cappy moons are the hardest to get along with (my mom has it too LOL)...I had a boyfriend with this moon and OMG I wanted to strangle him! It must be my moon, because it squares it. They're fine people and all that, we just react completely differently.

MVM, what degree is your Moon? I tend not to be very up on relatives and friends moons because of not wanting to ask them their time of birth, or for having to settle on an approximate or maybe take a guess between two.

oh, and Bene, what degree is your Sun and Moon?

MVM, I have Pallas at 18 00' Aries

also,
Isis 18 35' Libra
Psyche 18 30' Leo
Spirit 18 03' Sagittarius

and
Pluto 18 10' Virgo
North node 18 19' Taurus
Lilith (additional objects one)17 58' Pis
Lilith h21 17 56' Pisces

Is Pallas the son of Crius and Titan God of warcraft? Or is this Pallas that we use the Nymph from Lake Tritonis in Greek Mythology? Or is it Pallas 'Athena'? I think I remember a thread on LL about it but I can't remember what they were talking about.

Sun = 25 degrees Cancer
Moon = 6 degrees Virgo.

I come from a family of air mooners. Meh. They're not intrisically bad, but it sucks when no one gets your idiosyncrasies....especially your own mother. I could tell her 5000000 times that I HATE sweet sauce or food over my rice, but she'll still put the VERY SUGARY sesame chicken on the rice and the broccoli on the side (which I strongly prefer on the rice) whenever she volunteers to buy us take-out. I might as well have gone to do it myself. And when you point it out, you're accused of being too particular. =__=

Apologies for the Virgo Moon digression again. I'll have a full response to your post tommorow.....Clinicals just tired me out today.

Benedict, I come from a huge family of air suns, but their moons are a mixed bag of mainly earth and water. My dad is a Gemini moon tho. And I'm the only fire moon.

I was thinking about it the other day and my grandmother was a Cancer moon, my mom is a Cappy moon, and they fought all the damn time! My aries moon squares both of their moons, but I find it funny since it's really literally right in the middle of those two moons astrologically (being 3 signs away from each)...and that was literally how always felt: right in the middle of the insanity LOL!

BTW I know what you mean about moms not getting those nuances: I've told my mom a million times what I don't like and she does exactly that I'll say I don't like a particular print/color/design, and guess what I'll get the following year for Xmas
When I've said I wasn't thrilled with it, she called me ungrateful
I think it's selective memory syndrome (she's a Pisces Mercury too opposing Virgo Mars...which means she's like in lala land and then when you call her on it she gets all fiesty LOL)
So now I just don't say anything...plus she's getting older and sensitive about aging soooo...

Bene, I have my Jupiter at 26 55' Cancer, and my Venus at 0 16' Virgo. So no wonder I like you so much

MVM, when I mused over what attributes were Pallas I didn't get what the general ideas for her were but there were connections. I picture her as stocky and of medium height and not actually a she but kind of well, a gay man. And I seem him positioning wooden replicas of the planets particularly Jupiter in different configurations and kind of considering whether those positions will achieve the results he wants.

In the wikipedia stuff, Pallas Athene is also known for strategy. There is a statue of her from 1st century BC or something and she sought of looks like a guy too, so I don't know if this has any founding for what I feel about it all.

Also, I googled Pallas Athene and homosexual and found this LL thread,
http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/007351.html

'Tula' at the bottom of the page says that she saw a reference on another board to Pallas Athene in aspect to the Moon as an indicator for homosexuality.

You and I have an exact conjunction! OMG does that mean you would turn me into a lesbian at the sight of you?!!?

Bene, sorry for hijacking your personal thread. I feel like I am sort of lying on your lounge room floor on your shag rug (gawd that sounds a bit suspect too!!haha) - sort of wallowing around, looking at your books and wiping a finger across your coffee table (Cripes, u could read something into that as well!!) - to check over your cleaning standards.

Anyway, hope you are not too stressed from your clinicals. We had that quiz on ABGs, blood etc the other day and half the class are ready to suicide. One person seriously, was talking about how easy it would be to crash her car on the way home and all her worry over the course would be over - how awful!! Thank God, I am totally oblivious to such concerns, I have done a sufficient job of putting myself into total denial and have actually succeeded in believing that I could probably have even smashed it with flying colours. *shakes head*

Nooooo, you are allowed to keep hijacking my thread as long as I keep forgetting to completely answer you posts. Its not that I don't want to, but I can only come on here intermittently with all the Paper Work from Clinicals.

Speaking of....ABG Exam? Holy crap. I'm sorry. I keep asking myself if this is worth the lost sleep, the elevated heart rate and blood pressure. We'll see....I'm just tired of going to bed at 2am completing looong Med Sheets, and then having to wake up at 4am to commute to the hospital. *sigh* I'm getting an RN's education in only 3 semesters......=__=

Yeah, I'm in the LPN program. Its the same education-wise, the only difference is that we don't initiate Care Plans or give Cardiac Meds. Everything else is the same...in the span of 3 semesters. *is dead*

Random: why does Venus retro seem alot like a Merc retro to me? In addition to hair and skin problems, I'm going through Car trouble, technological flukes (both my Computers are being shiite), and delays. Is it because my Venus is in Gemini?

Since we were discussing Tarot....

I pulled out my 'Tarot of the Dead' Deck and asked regarding my trip to Rhode Island this weekend. The card I pulled out was the 6 of Cups.

I can tell this is going to be a VERY venus retrograde weekend. Ugh.
